Studying the membrane physiology of filamentous fungi is key to understanding their interactions with the environment and crucial for developing new therapeutic strategies for disease-causing ***,their plasma membrane has been inaccessible for a micron-sized patch-clamp pipette for pA current recordings due to the rigid chitinous cell ***,we report the first femtosecond IR laser nanosurgery of the cell wall of the filamentous fungi,which enabled patch-clamp measurements on protoplasts released from hyphae.A reproducible and highly precise(diffraction-limited,submicron resolution)method for obtaining viable released protoplasts was *** release from the nanosurgery-generated incisions in the cell wall was achieved from different regions of the *** plasma membrane of the obtained protoplasts formed tight and high-resistance(GΩ)contacts with the recording *** entire nanosurgical procedure followed by the patch-clamp technique could be completed in less than 1 *** to previous studies using heterologously expressed channels,this technique provides the opportunity to identify new ionic currents and to study the properties of the ion channels in the protoplasts of filamentous fungi in their native environment.

Three kinds of effective error bounds of the quadrature formulas with multiple nodes that are generalizations of the well-known Micchelli-Rivlin quadrature formula, when the integrand is a function analytic in the regions bounded by confocal ellipses, are given. A numerical example which illustrates the calculation of these error bounds is included.

Three research papers were published recently to compare the virological properties of the Omicron variant with the earlier variants of concern(vOC).1,2,3 The SARS-Cov-2 B.1.1.529 variant,Omicron,was first detected in South Africa in October 2021 and has spread rapidly;within three months,it appeared in more than 87 countries.4 During the surveillance of the epidemiological data and mutations of earlier COvID-19 variants and Omicron,significant differences were revealed mainly in the reproduction rate and hospitalization.

The ingestion of a foreign body that penetrates the gastric wall and migrates to the liver,where it causes an abscess is uncommon. A case of an ingested rosemary twig perforating the gastric antrum,then migrating to the liver,complicated by hepatic abscess and Staphylococcus aureus sepsis is reported. A 59-year-old man without a history of foreign body ingestion was admitted to our hospital because of sepsis and epigastralgia,which had progressively worsened. No foreign body was identified at preoperative imaging,but a rosemary twig was discovered during laparotomy. The liver abscess and sepsis were controlled successfully with surgery and antibiotics. This unusual condition should be kept in mind when dealing with cases of hepatic abscess,or even sepsis of unknown origin. Despite the improvement of non-surgical techniques such as percutaneous drainage and interventional endoscopy,surgery still remains important in the treatment of hepatic abscess caused by an ingested foreign body.

Crystal Structure and Chemical Composition of Ludwigite from vranovac Ore Deposit (Boranja Mountain,Serbia)

The crystal structure of ludwigite from vranovac ore deposit （Boranja Mt., Serbia） was refined using the X-ray powder diffraction （XRPD） Rietveld method in the space group Pbam to a final RB=7.45% and RF=5.26%. It has the unit cell dimensions of： a=9.2515（2） A; b=12.3109（2） A; c=3.03712 （7） A; and v=345.91（1） A3. The calculated distances and angles are mostly in good agreement with the Mg2＋-Fe2＋ substitutions across the M（1） and M（3） sites, as well as with the Fe3＋-AI3＋ replacement in the M（4） site. However, the mean observed M（2）-O distance is considerably shorter than prescribed, due to a slight increase of the Fe3＋ content in the M（2） site. Such replacement was compensated by slight increase of the Fe2＋ content in the M（4） site, resulting in the （Mg1.4sFe2＋o.46Fe3＋***.o2）2.o1 （Fe3＋o.94Fe2＋0.04Al0.02）1.00B1.00Os composition. The formation temperature was estimated to be about 500- 600C. The influences of the various chemical compositions to the crystallographic parameters, M-O distances, M（3） and M（4） sites shift, distortion parameters and estimated valences, were also studied and compared with other reference samples.

We investigate the magnetism of a previously unexplored distorted spin-1/2 kagome model consisting of three symmetry-inequivalent nearest-neighbor antiferromagnetic Heisenberg couplings J_(■),J,and J′,and uncover a rich ground state phase diagram even at the classical *** analytical arguments and numerical techniques we identify a collinear Q^(→)=0 magnetic phase,two unusual non-collinear coplanar Q^(→)=(1/3,1/3)phases and a classical spin liquid phase with a degenerate manifold of non-coplanar ground states,resembling the jammed spin liquid phase found in the context of a bond-disordered kagome *** further show with density functional theory calculations that the recently synthesized Y-kapellasite Y_(3)Cu_(9)(OH)_(19)C_(l8) is a realization of this model and predict its ground state to lie in the region of Q^(→)=(1/3,1/3)order,which remains stable even after the inclusion of quantum fluctuation effects within variational Monte Carlo and pseudofermion functional renormalization *** presented model opens a new direction in the study of kagome antiferromagnets.

Objectives： There is a paucity of data regarding wound-site complications and patient＇s satisfaction after harvesting of a radial artery. This study is conducted to evaluate the frequency complications and the level of patient＇s satisfaction after myocardial revascularization in our setting. Methods： From April 2009 to October 2013, 97 patients had radial artery （RA） used as a graft in myocardial revascularization. The graft was harvested using open technique. This was retrospective study. Telephone questionnaire was used to evaluate： arm pain, swelling, mobility, sensory changes, patient＇s contentment with a cosmetic result and the general health state. Results： Pain of limited duration was reported by 24 patients （24.7%）, none of them reported permanent pain. Some problems in performing everyday＇s activities were reported by 8 pts （8.2%）. Sensory changes were permanently present in 5 pts （5.2%）, and frequent arm fatigue was reported by 4 pts （4.1%）. Positive opinion regarding the cosmetic result was reported by 95 pts （97.9%）. State of the health after surgery, 81 pts （83.5%） described as excellent or good. Patients who had more mobility problems, also had more sensory and neurological discomfort respectively. Patients with better self-reported general health state were also more satisfied with the esthetic effect of the intervention. Conclusions： Using the open technique resulted in excellent cosmetic effect. This gives us credit to point out that exclusive need of the endoscopic as a supreme method might be under the question mark. Our study suggests that individual attitude of the particular patient plays extremely important role in his/her overall satisfaction with the end effect of the procedure.

The Effect of vanadium Content on Mechanical Properties and Structure of Self-Hardening Steel X 160C rMo 12-1

The aim of this research was to examine the influence of vanadium on the structure, hardness and tensile strength of X I60CrMo 12-1 self-hardened steels. It is known that vanadium affects the process of solidification of this alloy in a way that narrows temperature interval of crystallization. vanadium, as an alloying element, moves liquidus and solidus lines toward higher temperatures, approximately for 25 to 30 ~C. In addition, vanadium forms v6C5 carbides, which, are partly distributed between present phases in the steel; carbide （Cr,Fe）7C3 and austenite. The presence of vanadium enables the formation of （Cr, Fe）23C6 carbide and its precipitation into austenite during the cooling process. In local areas around fine carbide particles, austenite is transformed into martensite, i.e., vanadium reduces remained austenite and improves steel air-hardening. vanadium concentration over 2.5% significantly improves the impact toughness. The basic problem in the application of high alloyed Cr-Mo steels is to increase their impact toughness and thereby sustain a relatively high value of hardness. Recent studies, concerning to the chemical composition and heat treatment regime, show that it is possible to get a martensitic structure with a very small amount of retained austenite. Investigations are directed toward the testing of the influence of alloying elements such as molybdenum, manganese and especially vanadium. vanadium has great influence to the crystallization process. With increasing of its content, the eutectic point moves toward lower carbon concentrations and the temperature interval of solidification is narrowing.

甲型流感病毒是一种重要的猪呼吸道病原,发病率高,给养猪业造成很大的经济损失,接种疫苗是预防和控制流感的首选。流感减毒活疫苗(LAIv)在人类和马中被应用并为其提供了广泛的免疫保护,但目前并无针对猪流感病毒的减毒活疫苗面市。我们曾经报道过的一株来源于SIvA/Sw/Saskatchewan/18789/02(H1N1)(SIv/Sk02)的弹性蛋白酶依赖的突变株SIv A/Sw/Sk-R345v(R345v),已在猪体内高度减毒。通过气管给猪免疫R345v两次,能介导强烈的细胞免疫和体液免疫反应,对抗原性不同的SIv感染提供高度的保护。试验评价了通过滴鼻这一更为实用的途径免疫R345v对SIv感染产生的免疫原性和保护效力。研究数据显示,滴鼻免疫R345v减毒活疫苗2次,能刺激气管支气管淋巴结产生强烈的抗原特异性IFN应答,并刺激血清和呼吸道粘膜产生抗体应答。滴鼻接种R345v活疫苗,为猪免受亲本野生病毒株及具有病原性的同源变异株A/Sw/Indiana/1726/88(H1N1)的感染提供完全保护,此外,还对猪免受异源亚型H3N2 SIv的感染提供不完全保护。因此,弹性蛋白酶依赖的突变株R345v可作为抗原性不同的猪流感病毒的活疫苗。
