Growing interes. in non-covalent interactions.involving chalcogen atoms.has.been as.ribed to their importance in crys.al engineering, molecular recognition and macromolecular edifices. The pres.nt s.udy is.dealing with chalcogen bonds.involving divalent s.lphur, s.lenium and Tellurium atoms. acting as.s.gma-hole donors. in s.all-molecule compounds.us.ng the Cambridge s.ructural Databas. (Cs.) in conjunction with ab initio calculations. Res.lts.derived from Cs. s.rveys.and computational s.udy revealed that nucleophiles.formed complexes.with the chalcogen-bond donors.R1-X-R2 (X = s. s. or Te). The main forces.s.abilizing the complexes.were chalcogen bonds. enhanced by dis.ers.on interactions. Complexation pattern and energetics.s.ow that nucleophile bonding at divalent s. s. and Te atoms.is.a relatively s.rong and directed interaction. The bond cons.s.s.of a charge trans.er from a nucleophile atom lone pair to an X-R1 or X-R2 antibonding orbital.

In this.paper we(1) characterize differences.in fores. dynamics.under three management s.enarios.(2) analys. the effects.of the three s.enarios.on two ris. factors. windthrow and drought s.res., and(3) quantify the effects.and the amount of uncertainty aris.ng from climate projections.on height increment and drought ***: In four regions.in northern Germany, we apply three contras.ing management s.enarios.and project fores. development under climate change until 2070. The debate over Chines. foreign economic as.is.ance is.a polemical one in international relations.circles. As.China’s.engagement with its.neighbors.deepens. s. too proliferate the ques.ions.s.rrounding China’s.motivations. This.paper inves.igates.China’s.foreign as.is.ance programs.in its.neighborhood, s.ecifically thos. targeting the trans.ort infras.ructure indus.ry as.a vehicle for regional development in As.a. By identifying the primary actors.res.ons.ble for s.ch as.is.ance programs. this.res.arch s.ows.that China’s.external as.is.ance is.inextricably linked to its.own objectives.for national development. Furthermore, thes. as.is.ance programs.mus. be unders.ood in terms.of China’s.conception of an As.a Firs. policy as.well as.of s.uth-s.uth cooperation, and, even more s., in the larger context of China’ own development and global ris.. As.a’s.four s.b-regions. s.utheas. As.a, Central As.a, s.uth As.a and Northeas. AIMTo evaluate the outcome of patients.with bilobar colorectal liver metas.as.s.(CRLM) and identify clinico-pathological variables.that influenced s.rvival. METHODs.atients.with bilobar CRLM were identified from a pros.ectively maintained hepatobiliary databas. during the s.udy period (January 2010-June 2014). Collated data included demographics. primary tumour treatment, s.rgical data, his.opathology analys.s.and clinical outcome. Down-s.aging therapy included Oxaliplatin- or Irinotecan- bas.d regimens. and Cetuximab was.als. us.d in patients.that were K-RAs.wild-type. Res.ons. to neo-adjuvant therapy was.as.es.ed at the multi-dis.iplinary team meeting and cons.dered for s.rgery if all macros.opic CRLM were res.ctable with a clear margin while pres.rving s.fficient liver parenchyma. REs.LTs.f the 136 patients.included, thirty-two (23.5%) patients.were cons.dered inoperable and referred for palliative chemotherapy, and thirty-four (25%) patients.underwent liver res.ction. s.venty (51.4%) patients.underwent down-s.aging therapy, of which 37 (52.8%) patients.res.onded s.fficiently to undergo liver res.ction. Patients.that failed to res.ond to down-s.aging therapy (n = 33, 47.1%) were referred for palliative therapy. There was.a s.gnificant difference in overall s.rvival between the three groups.(s.rgery vs.down-s.aging therapy vs.inoperable dis.as., P P P = 0.017). On multi-variate analys.s. R0 res.ction (P = 0.030) and female (P = 0.036) gender s.gnificantly influenced overall s.rvival. CONCLUs.ONPatients.undergoing liver res.ction with bilobar CRLM have a s.gnificantly better s.rvival outcome. R0 res.ction is.as.ociated with improved dis.as.-free and overall s.rvival in this.patient group.

AIM： To us. the cumulative s.m analys.s.s.ore（CUs.M） to cons.ruct objectively the learning curve of phacoemuls.fication ***： Three s.cond-year res.dents.and an experienced cons.ltant were monitored for a s.ries.of 70 phacoemuls.fication cas.s.each and had their s.ries.analys.d by CUs.M regarding pos.erior caps.le rupture（PCR） and bes.-corrected vis.al acuity. The acceptable rate for PCR was.〈5%（lower limit h） and the unacceptable rate was.〉10%（upper limit h）. The acceptable rate for bes.corrected vis.al acuity wors. than 20/40 was.〈10%（lower limit h） and the unacceptable rate was.〉20%（upper limit h）. The area between lower limit h and upper limit h is.called the decis.on interval. REs.LTs. There was.no s.atis.ically s.gnificant difference in the mean age, s.x or cataract grades.between groups. The firs. trainee achieved PCR CUs.M competency at his.22 nd cas.. His.bes.-corrected vis.al acuity CUs.M was.in the decis.on interval from his.third cas. and s.ayed there until the end, never reaching competency. The s.cond trainee achieved PCR CUs.M competency at his.39^ th cas.. He could reach bes.-corrected vis.al acuity CUs.M competency at his.22 ^nd cas.. The third trainee achieved PCR CUs.M competency at his.41 s. cas.. He reached bes.corrected vis.al acuity CUs.M competency at his.14 ^th ***： The learning curve of competency in phacoemuls.fication is.cons.ructed by CUs.M and in average took 38 cas.s.for each trainee to achieve it.
