BACKGROUND Rectal.mel.noma is an uncommon neopl.sm that accounts for approximatel. 1 percent of rectal.cancer *** resection w.s regarded as the radical.procedure for disease ***,it l.d to more postoperative compl.cations than sphincter-sparing w.de l.cal.excision(w.E)and reduced the patient’s qual.ty of l.fe(QOl.ow.ng to creation of ***,in this study,w.E,radiotherapy(RT),and a second w.E w.re conducted on a patient w.o had been diagnosed w.th l.cal.zed rectal.*** SUMMARY The patient w.s a 79-year-ol. w.man w.o had been experiencing anal.pain and bl.ody stool.for 1 ***,magnetic resonance imaging,positron emission tomography–computed tomography,and histol.gical.anal.sis of tissue biopsy using the histol.gical.markers Mel.n-A(+),S-100(+),and Ki-67(+,50%)l.ad to the diagnosis of l.cal.zed rectal.*** patient had initial.y undergone w.E to resol.e probl.m of anal.bl.eding,fol.ow.d by RT to treat the residual.l.sion w.th partial.***,the residual.l.sion w.s removed w.th margin-free resection by the second *** patient’s postoperative course w.s smooth and *** the 2-year fol.ow.up,no l.cal.recurrence w.s ***,a good functional.outcome and improved QOl.w.re *** Combining w.E,RT,and repeat w.E is proposed as a viabl. al.ernative for treating rectal.mel.noma accompanied by bl.eding symptoms that cannot be compl.tel. resected at the beginning.

Huntington’s disease (HD)(OMIM 143100) is an autosomal.dominant neurodegenerative disorder caused by a monogenic mutation in the huntingtin gene (HTT),w.ich induces typical.midl.fe onset and age-dependent progression w.th major symptoms incl.ding choreic movements,psychiatric disorders,and cognitive impairment(Gusel.a et al.,2021).After the 1993 discovery of a pathogenic expansion of the CAG trinucl.otide repeat beyond 35 in HTT exon 1 as a causative factor for HD,many animal.mammal.an cel. and yeast model. expressing mutant HTT (mHtt) w.th abnormal.CAG repeats have been created to study CAG repeat-induced toxicity (Naphade et al.,2019;Gusel.a et al.,2021).

Bed forms of various kinds that evol.e natural.y on the bottom of sandy coasts and rivers are a resul. of the kinematics of bed l.ad transport. Based on the group motion of particl.s in the bed l.ad w.thin the bottom l.yer, a study on the nonl.near dy- namics of bed l.ad transport is presented in this paper. It is found that some devel.pment stages, such as the initiation, the equil.brium sediment transport, and the transition from a smooth bed to sand dunes, can be accounted for by different states in the nonl.near sys- tem of the bed l.ad transport. It is verified by comparison w.th experimental.data reported by l.boratoire Nationae D’Hydraul.que, Chatou, France, that the evol.tion from a smooth bed to sand dunes is determined by mutation in the bed l.ad transport. This paper pre- sents resul.s that may offer theoretical.expl.nations to the experimental.observations. It is al.o an attempt to appl. the state-of-the-art nonl.near science to the cl.ssical.sediment transport mechanics.

The scattering and radiations of l.near obl.que w.ves by mul.ipl. l.ng horizontal.circul.r cyl.nders submerged in w.ter of finite depth are investigated using the mul.ipol. expansion method. Anal.tical.expressions for the diffracted and radiated potential. are given as a l.near combination of infinite mul.ipol.s. The unknow. coefficients in the expressions are determined by using the addition theorem of the Bessel.function and the cyl.nder boundary conditions. Al.o anal.tical.expressions for w.ve forces, hydrodynamic coefficients and refl.ction and transmission coeffi-cients are derived. The present anal.tical.sol.tion is verified through the boundary el.ment method and appl.ed to investigate three different cases of the interaction of obl.que w.ves w.th mul.ipl. submerged horizontal.circul.r cyl.nders. The resul.s show.that the number of cyl.nders, the arrangement and spacing betw.en cyl.nders pl.y an important rol. in w.ve forces, hydrodynamic coefficients and refl.ction and transmission coefficients. Some interesting and important phenomena are ob-served in numerical.experiments.
