This paper presents a control strategy of a hybrid fuel cell/battery distributed generation (HDG) system in distribution systems. The overall structure of the HDG system is given, dynamic models for the solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) power plant, battery bank and its power electronic interfacing are briefly described, and controller design methodologies for the power conditioning units and fuel cell to control the power flow from the hybrid power plant to the utility grid are presented. To distribute the power between the fuel cell power plant and the battery energy storage, a neuro-fuzzy controller has been developed. also, for controlling the active and reactive power independently in distribution systems, the current control strategy based on two fuzzy logic controllers has been presented. A Matlab/Simulink simulation model is developed for the HDG system by combining the individual component models and their controllers. Simulation results show the overall system performance including load-following and power management of the HDG system.

In wireless ad hoc networks cooperation among nodes cannot always be assumed since nodes with limited resources and different owners are capable of making independent decisions. Cooperation problems in topology control and packet forwarding tasks have been mostly studied separately but these two tasks are not independent. Considering a joint cooperation problem by taking into account dependencies between tasks will result in more reliable and efficient networks. In this paper topology control definition is extended to cover cooperation problem in both packet forwarding and topology control in a single problem. In this definition nodes have to adjust their transmission power and decide on their relay role. This paper models the interactions of nodes as a potential game with two-dimensional utility function. The presented model, named TCFORCE （Topology Control packet FORwarding Cooperation Enforcement）, preserves the network connectivity and reduces the energy consumption by providing cooperative paths between all pairs of nodes in the network.

Urban tunnels crossing faults are always at the risk of severe *** this paper,the efects of a reverse and a normal fault movement on a transversely crossing shallow shotcreted tunnel are investigated by 3D finite difference *** verifying the accuracy of the numerical simulation predictions with the centrifuge physical model results,a parametric study is then *** is,theleffects of various parameters such as the sprayed concrete thickness,the geo-mechanical properties of soil,the tunnel depth,and the fault plane dip angle are studied on the displacements of the ground surface and the tunnel structure,and on the plastic strains of the soil mass around *** results of each case of reverse and normal faulting are independently discussed and then compared with each *** is obtained that deeper tunnels show greater displacements for both types of faulting.

In this study,aerodynamic behaviors of swept and leaned blades were *** and tangential blade curvatures impacts on compressor's operating parameters were analyzed separately.A commercial CFD program which solves the Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equations was used to find out the mentioned impact and the complicated flow field of transonic *** CFD method that was used for solving flow field's equation was validated by experimental data of NASA Rotor *** results showed that the compressor with curved rotors had higher efficiency,rotor pressure ratio and stable operating range compared to the compressor with un-curved *** curved rotors mostly had higher impact on the overall stable operating range compared to the other operating *** range involves choking point and stall point that were changed separately by using of bended *** finding the detailed impact of sweep and lean angle on transonic blades,various forms of lean and sweep angles were exerted to basic *** was found that sweep angles increased overall operating range up to 30%,efficiency up to 2%and pressure ratio up to 1%.Leaning the blades increased the safe operating range,the pressure ratio and efficiency by 14%,4%and 2%respectively.

Enhanced oil recovery(EOR)methods are mostly based on different phenomena taking place at the interfaces between fluid–fluid and rock–fluid *** the last decade,carbonated water injection(CWI)has been considered as one of the multi-objective EOR techniques to store CO2 in the hydrocarbon bearing formations as well as improving oil recovery *** CWI process,as the reservoir pressure declines,the dissolved CO2 in the oil phase evolves and gas nucleation phenomenon would *** a result,it can lead to oil saturation restoration and subsequently,oil displacement due to the hysteresis *** this condition,CO2 would act as insitu dissolved gas into the oil phase,and play the role of an artificial solution gas drive(SGD).In this study,the effect of SGD as an extra oil recovery mechanism after secondary and tertiary CWI(SCWI-TCWI)modes has been experimentally investigated in carbonate rocks using coreflood *** depressurization tests resulted in more than 25%and 18%of original oil in place(OOIP)because of the SGD after SCWI and TCWI tests,*** the ultimate enhanced oil recovery point of view,the efficiency of SGD was observed to be more than one-third of that of CWI ***,the pressure drop data revealed that the system pressure depends more on the oil production pattern than water production.

Lead sulfide （PbS） nanostructures with different morphologies and particle sizes were obtained via a simple hydrothermal reaction between lead （Ⅱ） salicylate （Pb（Hsal）2） and thiourea （tu）. Reaction products were characterized by means of X-ray diffraction （XRD）, scanning electron microscopy （SEM）, transmission electron microscopy （TEM）, ultraviolet-visible （UV-vis） and Fourier transform infrared （FT-IR） spectroscopy. Morphology of the product, varying from star-like to dendritic, depends on the mole ratio of tu to （Pb（Hsal）2）, pH, and reaction time.

Human fall detection(FD)acts as an important part in creating sensor based alarm system,enabling physical therapists to minimize the effect of fall events and save human ***,elderly people suffer from several diseases,and fall action is a common situation which can occur at any *** this view,this paper presents an Improved Archimedes Optimization algorithm with Deep Learning Empowered Fall Detection(IAOA-DLFD)model to identify the fall/non-fall *** proposed IAOA-DLFD technique comprises different levels of pre-processing to improve the input image ***,the IAOA with Capsule Network based feature extractor is derived to produce an optimal set of feature *** addition,the IAOA uses to significantly boost the overall FD performance by optimal choice of CapsNet ***,radial basis function(RBF)network is applied for determining the proper class labels of the test *** showcase the enhanced performance of the IAOA-DLFD technique,a wide range of experiments are executed and the outcomes stated the enhanced detection outcome of the IAOA-DLFD approach over the recent methods with the accuracy of 0.997.

Due to the wide range of applications,Wireless Sensor Networks(WSN)are increased in day to day life and becomes *** has marked its importance in both practical and research *** is the most significant resource,the important challenge in WSN is to extend its *** energy reduction is a key to extend the network’s *** of sensor nodes is one of the well-known and proved methods for achieving scalable and energy conserving *** this paper,an energy efficient protocol is proposed using metaheuristic Echo location-based BAT algorithm(ECHO-BAT).ECHO-BAT works in two *** Stage clusters the sensor nodes and identifies tentativeCluster Head(CH)along with the entropy value using BAT *** second stage aims to find the nodes if any,with high residual energy within each *** will be replaced by the member node with high residual energy with an objective to choose the CH with high energy to prolong the network’s *** performance of the proposed work is compared with Low-Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy(LEACH),Power-Efficient Zoning Clustering algorithm(PEZCA)and Chaotic Firefly algorithm CH(CFACH)in terms of lifetime of network,death of first nodes,death of 125th node,death of the last node,network throughput and execution *** results show that ECHO-BAT outperforms the other methods in all the considered *** overall delivery ratio has also significantly optimized and improved by approximately 8%,proving the proposed approach to be an energy efficient WSN.
