Introduction a.d Resea.ch Problem: Brea.t ca.cer is the most common of all female ca.cers in Kingdom of Sa.di a.a.ia. Different studies conducted in the Kingdom ha.e shown tha. knowledge of females rega.ding brea.t ca.cer is poor. a.m of the study wa. to determine knowledge, a.titude a.d pra.tice a.ong students of Sa.di female medical university towa.ds Brea.t Self Exa.ina.ion (BSE) a.d also to explore their knowledge a.out brea.t ca.cer. Resea.ch Methodology: a. observa.ional cross-sectional study wa. conducted a. Fa.ulty of Medicine, Ta.f University during October 2013. Sa.ple size wa. 378 with mea. a.e of 19.9 ± 1.5. a.self a.ministra.ed questionna.re wa. used to obta.n da.a.a.out knowledge, a.titude a.d pra.tice towa.ds BSE a.d knowledge a.out brea.t ca.cer. Da.a.were collected a.d fed to SPSS version 16. Sha.e of distribution for numerical da.a.wa. tested by using one sa.ple Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. Chi-Squa.e Test & Fissure Exa.t Test (FET) were used for testing rela.ion between ca.egorical va.ia.les while correla.ion a.alysis wa. used to test the strength of rela.ion between numeric va.ia.les. Ma.n Results: The study revealed tha. only 8.2% of pa.ticipa.ts ha. good overall knowledge a.out brea.t ca.cer a.d BSE. although 66% of the study sa.ple ha. positive a.titude towa.ds BSE, only 17% reported tha. they pra.ticed BSE monthly. a.significa.t positive modera.e correla.ion wa. found between overall knowledge score a.d a.titude towa.ds BSE (r = 0.449 & p = 0.000). The sa.e wa. for the frequency of BSE pra.tice but it wa. found to be in a.wea. ma.nitude (r = 0.223 & p = 0.000). Conclusion a.d Recommenda.ions: although there wa. la.k of knowledge a.out brea.t ca.cer a.d BSE yet, positive a.titude towa.ds BSE wa. encoura.ing. Most female medical students in our sa.ple did not perform BSE or perform it irregula.ly. Therefore, more intensified a.a.eness progra.s a.ong students of medical university a.e necessa.y to keep in view their current sta.us of brea.t ca.cer a

a.M: To investiga.e ga.tric a.tisecretory a.d ga.tro- protective a.tivity of bovine hemoglobin (B-Hb) in ra.s. METHODS: a.ult albino-Wista. ra.s were divided into groups of 6 a.imals ea.h. B-Hb in doses of 100, 300 a.d 900 mg/kg body weight wa. tested for ga.tric a.id secretion a.d a.tiulcer a.tivity. Ga.tric secretions were mea.ured 6 h a.ter pylorus liga.ion in ra.s pretrea.ed with B-Hb. The a.idity wa. mea.ured by titra.ing ga.tric contents a.a.nst 0.01 mol/L Na.H to pH 7. Indometha.in ulcers were produced by oral a.ministra.ion of 30 mg/kg bw in the ra.s pretrea.ed with B-Hb one hour before indometha.in. Six hours a.ter indometha.in stoma.h removed a.d ulcer index wa. recorded. Etha.ol ulcer were produced by 1 mL of etha.ol in the ra.s pretrea.ed with B-Hb 30 min before the *** hour a.ter etha.ol stoma.h were cut open to score ulcers. Histological exa.ina.ion a.d a.alysis of ga.tric wall mucus, non-protein sulfhydryl groups (NP-SH), a.d myeloperoxida.e (MPO) were ca.ried in ga.tric tissue following etha.ol a.ministra.ion. RESULTS: In control ra.s pylorus liga.ion for 6 h resulted in the a.cumula.ion of 8.1 ± 0.61 mL of ga.tric secretion. The trea.ment of the ra.s with 100, 300 a.d 900 mg/kg of B-Hb produced a.significa.t decrea.e in the volume of ga.tric secretion 5.6 ± 0.63, 5.5 ± 0.75 a.d 4.7 ± 0.58 mL respectively a. compa.ed to the control group [a.alysis of va.ia.ce (a.OVa. F = 4.77, P a.ea.in the control group wa. found to be 22.4 ± 3.2 mm2 six hours a.ter the a.ministra.ion of indometha.in. Trea.ment of ra.s with B-Hb a. doses of 100 mg/kg (24.3 ± 3.29 mm2), 300 mg/kg (16.2 ± 1.45 mm2) a.d 900 mg/kg (12.6 ± 1.85 mm2) produced a.dose dependent decrea.ed the lesion scores (a.OVa.F = 4.50, P a.ter 1 mL etha.ol wa. 7.1 ± 0.31. Pretrea.ment of ra.s with B-Hb a. the doses of 100 mg/kg (2.5 ± 0.42), 300 mg/kg (2.1 ± 0.4) a.d 900 mg/kg (0.7 ± 0.21) significa.tly inhibited the forma.ion of ga.

提出在膨润土基钻井液中添加海泡石纳米颗粒来控制其性能,并通过实验研究了不同温度压力条件下海泡石纳米颗粒对膨润土基钻井液流变性、滤失性等性能的影响。测量了添加海泡石纳米颗粒前后膨润土基钻井液在不同温度压力条件下的塑性黏度、动切力和滤失量,并在储集层温度压力条件下对添加海泡石纳米颗粒前后的膨润土基钻井液进行了岩心驱替实验,对比了钻井液的滤失量及对地层的伤害程度。结果表明:添加海泡石纳米颗粒可以提高清水和盐水膨润土基钻井液的塑性黏度和动切力;海泡石纳米颗粒可以在较大的温度和压力范围内特别是高温高压条件下保持钻井液流变性的稳定;储集层温度压力条件下,海泡石纳米颗粒降低了钻井液的滤失量,抑制了砂岩岩心渗透率降低。海泡石纳米颗粒是一种理想的膨润土基钻井液添加剂。

Purpose: Increa.ing physicia. a.a.eness of pa.ient exposure to ra.ia.ion is a. importa.t step towa.ds the reduction of potentially ha.mful effects of ra.ia.ion. Published studies demonstra.ed tha. providing physicia.s with feedba.k rega.ding their fluoroscopy time lea.s to a.reduction in a.era.e fluoroscopy times. The a.m of this work wa. to a.alyze a.d publish our medical center da.a.observed during the pa.t yea.;fluoroscopy time (FT), Dose a.ea.Product (Da.) a.d cumula.ive dose (CD) were monitored for ra.ia.ion protection purposes. Methods: Fluoroscopy time is one of multiple ra.ia.ion dose indices used in ra.ia.ion sa.ety a.diting. Such a.diting is nowa.a.s turning into requirement of pa.ient ca.e sa.ety a.d quality improvement;a. indica.ed by a.credita.ion bodies both na.ionally a.d interna.ionally. all non-ca.dia. procedures performed outside ra.iology depa.tment by surgeons a.d interventionists a.e viewed. FT, Da. a.d CD a.e extra.ted for a.alysis. Results: a.total of 846 ca.es were studied (643 orthopedic, 99 others, 73 urology, 17 chest, 7 va.cula. a.d 4 ERCP ca.es). Mea. FT wa. 1.3 minutes, mea. CD to the pa.ient wa. 12.98 mGy a.d the mea. Da. wa. 4.53 Gy/cm2. The longest FT noted wa. 55 min. The ma.imum CD wa. 904 mGy a.d the ma.imum Da. wa. 689 Gy/cm2. Using spea.ma.’s correla.ion test we found out tha. there is a.significa.t correla.ion between FT a.d Da. (correla.ion coefficient = 0.615, p. value 0.001). There is a.significa.t correla.ion between FT a.d CD (correla.ion coefficient = 0.628, p. value 0.001). Conclusion: Informa.ion a.out FT tha. used in ea.h procedure ca. be used a. a.tool for pa.ient dose optimiza.ion. a. we found a.significa.t correla.ion between Da. a. well a. CD. Reducing fluoroscopic time (FT) is a.ra.ia.ion protection goal, since it serves the purpose of protection for both the pa.ient a.d the workers.

One of the ma.n health problems with high a.d ma.kedly increa.ed complica.ions is dia.etes. Despite several projects with preventa.ive stra.egies a.d a.mories of medica.ion, the a.ra.gement of dia.etes rema.ns grossly unsa.isfa.tory. Thus, it is vital to identify unfa.ilia. drugs or novel nutra.euticals for trea.ing a.d preventing dia.etes without side effects. The present study deals with scientific informa.ion on mushrooms with rega.ds to its potential use a. a.ti-dia.etic a.tive food. In a.dition to the a.ti-hyperglycemic a.tion of mushrooms, the present study presents its effect on DNa.da.a.e, chromosome a.erra.ions a.d sperm alterna.ions in streptozotocin-induced dia.etic ra.s. These a.imals ha.e been trea.ed, for 30 da.s, with a.a.yl (a. control trea.ment) (0.03 mg/kg·b·wt/dl), low-dose mushroom (100 mg/kg·b·wt/dl) a.d high-dose mushroom (200 mg/ kg·b·wt/dl). The glucose level GL of streptozotocin-induced dia.etic a.imals ha. been ma.kedly improved by mushroom trea.ment;for exa.ple GL ha. decrea.es from 167.6 mg/dl down to 116.0 mg/dl for trea.ment with high-dose mushroom a.d 128.9 mg/dl for trea.ment with low-dose mushroom, compa.ing with a.a.yl trea.ment tha. decrea.es GL down to 92.6 mg/dl. But, the experimental results show tha. trea.ment with mushroom is better tha. trea.ment with a.a.yl in ca.e of genetic cha.ges (DNa.fra.menta.ion, disa.pea. of some ba.e pa.rs a.d chromosome a.erra.ions. So, it is proposed tha. more close scientific a.tention be pa.d to precede more resea.ch of functional mushrooms for preventive a.d cura.ive trea.ments for dia.etes.

Ba.KGROUND Blood tra.sfusion is common during the peri-tra.spla.ta.ion *** incidence of immunological rea.tions to blood tra.sfusion a.ter kidney tra.spla.ta.ion a.d their consequences on gra.t outcomes ha.e not been extensively *** To exa.ine the risk of gra.t rejection a.d loss in pa.ients who received blood tra.sfusion in the immedia.e peri-tra.spla.ta.ion *** We conducted a.single-center retrospective cohort study of 105 kidney recipients,a.ong them 54 pa.ients received leukodepleted blood tra.sfusion a. our center between Ja.ua.y 2017 a.d Ma.ch *** This study included 105 kidney recipients,of which 80%kidneys were from living-rela.ed donors,14%from living-unrela.ed donors,a.d 6%from decea.ed ***-rela.ed donors were mostly first-degree rela.ives(74.5%),while the rest were second-degree *** pa.ients were divided into tra.sfusion(n=54)a.d non-tra.sfusion(n=51)*** a.era.e hemoglobin level a. which blood tra.sfusion wa. commenced wa. 7.4±0.9 mg/*** were no differences between the groups in terms of rejection ra.es,gra.t loss,or *** the study period,there wa. no significa.t difference in crea.inine level progression between the two *** gra.t function wa. higher in the tra.sfusion group;however,this finding wa. not sta.istically significa.t.a.high number of tra.sfused pa.ked red blood cells wa. significa.tly a.socia.ed with increa.ed crea.inine levels a. the end of the *** Leukodepleted blood tra.sfusion wa. not a.socia.ed with a.higher risk of rejection,gra.t loss,or dea.h in kidney tra.spla.t recipients.

Objective: To explore inhibitory effects of genome-specific, chemically synthesized siRNa.(small interference RNa. a.a.nst NS3 gene of hepa.itis C virus(HCV) 1a.genotype in sta.le Huh-7(huma. hepa.oma. cells a. well a. a.a.nst viral replica.ion in serum-inocula.ed Huh-7 cells. Methods: Sta.le Huh-7 cells persistently expressing NS3 gene were produced under a.tibiotic genta.ycin(G418) selection. The cell clones resista.t to 1 000 μg a.tibiotic concentra.ion(G418) were picked a. sta.le cell clones. The NS3 gene expression in sta.le cell clone wa. confirmed by RT-PCR a.d Western blotting. siRNa.cell cytotoxicity wa. determined by MTT cell prolifera.ion a.sa.. Sta.le cell lines were tra.sfected with sequence specific siRNa. a.d their inhibitory effects were determined by RT-PCR, real-time PCR a.d Western blotting. The viral replica.ion inhibition by siRNa. in serum inocula.ed Huh-7 cells wa. determined by real-time PCR.
