Study of Common Urinary Problems of Females at a Government Hospital in Central India

Aim: The aim of this study is to identify the common urinary problems in Indian females, their etiology and symtomatology. Material and Methods: This is a prospective epidemiological study of 703 female patients with urinary problems, who attended the surgery and gynecology OPD (outpatient department) in our institution which is a tertiary referral centre in central India. Result: 58% of patients were middle age (31 - 55) yrs. Burning micturition was the most common urinary complain (607 patients) followed by increased frequency of micturition (309 patients). 68% females took months or even years to take first consultation after appearance of their symptoms. 14% percent of patients suffered from urinary incontinence (stress, urge and mixed). 86% of women had education level below fifth standard. About 58% of females gave birth to 3 or more than 3 issues. About 254 (36%) patients had one or more unassisted delivery at home. Thirty eight percent of patients still remained undiagnosed. More than 50% of undiagnosed females lie in middle age group. 68% of undiagnosed patients took consultation months or years after their symptoms first appeared. Irritative symptoms are the most common presenting complains of these undiagnosed patients followed by pain in abdomen. Around 60% of patients had history of either mental distress, domestic violence or any neuropschiatric disease. This study only gives us an idea about the urinary problems faced by females and their probable causative factors. Many more studies need to be done involving multidisciplinary approach in order to benefit this section of our society.

There is a new public health catastrophe forbidding the *** the advent and spread of 2019 novel coro-navirus(2019-nCoV).Learning from the experiences of various countries and the World Health Organization(WHO)guidelines,social distancing,use of sanitizers,thermal screening,quarantining,and provision of lock-down in the cities being the effective measure that can contain the spread of the *** complete lockdown helps in containing the spread,it generates complexity by breaking the economic activity ***,laborers,farmers,and workers may lose their daily *** to these detrimental effects,the government has to open the lockdown *** of the COVID-19 spread and analyzing when the cases would stop increasing helps in developing a *** attempt is made in this paper to predict the time after which the number of new cases stops rising,considering the strong implementation of lockdown conditions using three different techniques such as Decision Tree,Support Vector Machine,and Gaussian Process Regression algorithm are used to project the number of ***,the projections are used in identifying inflection points,which would help in planning the easing of lockdown in a few of the areas *** criticality in a region is evaluated using the criticality index(CI),which is proposed by authors in one of the past of research *** research work is made available in a dashboard to enable the decision-makers to combat the pandemic.

Aim:The aim of this study is to compare disease-free survival(DFS)and overall survival(OS)in patients with stage I cervical cancer(≤4cms,lymph node-negative)undergoing open radical hysterectomy(ORH)*** invasive radical hysterectomy(MIRH).Methods:All patients undergoing radical hysterectomy between January 2012-December 2018 from the largest tertiary referral cancer centre were included.A 1:1 propensity matching was done based on four independent prognostic factors to compare DFS and OS with the route of ***:One hundred and ninety-nine patients were included during the study *** median age of the cohort was 50 *** median follow-up of patients was 47 *** 1:1 propensity matching,a total of 174 patients were analysed for DFS and OS in ORH(n=87)and MIRH(n=87)*** measure was used in two-thirds of the patients during ***-nine patients(16.7%)had *** the matched cohort(n=174),the DFS at 36 and 60 months was 84.8%(78.1%-89.6%)and 81%(73.4%-86.6%)respectively and the OS was 96.5%(91.7%-98.5%)and 95.6%(90.3%-98%)*** was no statistically significant difference in DFS or OS between ORH and ***:The present study showed no difference in oncological outcomes in MIRH compared to *** audits on patient characteristics such as screening/vaccination history along with surgical technique/load and matching for crucial risk factors should be factored in future studies to eliminate the possible methodological errors.
