Heterogeneity is a major obstacle to the success of CAR-T therapy in treating solid tumors. The complex tumor micro-environment and varying phenotypes of tumor cells might result in antigen escape, drug resistance, and tumor recurrence. To address this issue, we proposed to use lipid-modified fluorescein isothiocyanate(Lip-FITC) as an artificial ligand to normalize the phenotypes of solid tumor cells. In murine cutaneous melanoma and colon adenocarcinoma that prefer to utilize exogenous long-chain fatty acids, we observed much more uptake of Lip-FITC and significantly increased FITC fluorescence on tumor cell membranes than normal cells. This specific exogenous labeling with FITC enhanced the recognition and selectivity of CART cells in solid tumors, bypassing the limitations derived from antigen expression differences in adoptive cell therapies. Lipid metabolism analysis and in vitro experiments demonstrated the sufficient uptake of long-chain fatty acid(LCFAs)-modified Lip-FITC by solid tumor cells, as well as satisfactory ligand assembly on cell membranes. In solid tumor model, the treatment induced the recognition and initiation of CART cells and successfully suppressed tumor progression through T-cell immunity.

Recently,borophene has attracted extensive interest as the wonder material,showing that line defects(LDs)occur widely at the interface between V_(1/5)and V_(1/6)boron ***,we study theoretically the electron transport through two-terminal disordered borophene nanoribbons(BNRs)with random distribution of *** results indicate that LDs strongly affect the electron transport properties of *** V_(1/5)and V_(1/6)BNRs exhibit metallic behavior without any LD,in agreement with *** in the presence of LDs,the overall electron transport ability is dramatically decreased,but some resonant peaks of conductance quantum are found in the transmission spectrum of any disordered BNR with arbitrary arrangement of *** disordered BNRs exhibit metal-insulator transition with tunable transmission gap in the insulating ***,two evolution phenomena of resonant peaks are revealed for disordered BNRs with different *** results may help for understanding structure-property relationships and designing LD-based nanodevices.

We investigate theoretically single photon transport in one-dimensional waveguide coupled to a pair of cavities,which are denoted by the first cavity and the auxiliary *** cases with no atom and one atom embedded in the first cavity are *** Fano dips in the transmission spectrum and locations of transparency window are *** no atom is embedded in the first cavity,there exists a transparency window under the condition that the first cavity and the auxiliary cavity are not *** locations of the transparency window and Fano line type depend strongly on the eigen frequency of the auxiliary cavity and the coupling strength between the auxiliary cavity and the *** one atom is embedded in the first cavity,we show that the transparency window exists even though the first cavity,the atom and the auxiliary cavity are *** Fano line type is strongly dependent on the eigen frequency of the auxiliary cavity and the coupling *** results have potential applications in design of quantum devices at the level of single photon,such as single photon switch and single photon routers.

Synergistic extraction has been proven to enhance extractability and selectivity for the separation of cadmium and zinc from magnesium and calcium in the sulfuric acid medium with Mextral V10 and Mextral 622H(aromatic hydroxamic)mixtures diluted in *** of Mextral V10 and 622H are highly selective for Zn and Cd over Mg and Ca compared with the single Mextral V10,resulting in larger synergistic shifts for zinc and cadmium with theΔpH_(50(Zn–Ca))values increasing substantially from0.83 to 1.73 pH units andΔpH_(50(Cd–Ca))values increasing from 0.63 to 2.13 p H *** aqueous to organic ratio(A/O ratio),the saponification ratio of Mextral V10 and extracting agent concentration were studied on the effect of metal ions extraction,which helped to increase the organic capacity of metal *** Mc Cabe-Thiele plot for Cd and Zn extraction with 5%(volume fraction)Mextral V10 and 5%Mextral 622H extractants mixture indicate the necessity of only one theoretical stages at an A/O ratio of 1.5:*** stage extraction simulation test conducted at pH 6.50 shows that Cd and Zn reach the extraction of 99.6%and 97.9%,respectively,and only low levels of magnesium and calcium are extracted in the organic *** extracted Zn^(2+)or Cd^(2+)-organic species are Zn(A_1)(A_2)or Cd(A_1)(A_2)with the mixture system by slope analysis.
