Grain-refining and strengthening mechanisms of bulk ultrafine grained CP-Ti processed by L-ECAP and MDF

The microstructural evolution and mechanical properties of ultrafine-grained(UFG)CP-Ti after an innovative large-volume equal channel angular pressing(L-ECAP)and multi-directional forging(MDF)were systematically examined using monotonic tensile tests combined with transmission electron microscope(TEM)and electron backscatter diffraction(EBSD)*** refined and homogeneous microstructures were achieved after L-ECAP(8-pass and 12-pass)and MDF(2-cycle and 3-cycle),respectively,where the grain size distribution conformed to lognormal *** grain refinement of450℃L-ECAP is dominated by dynamic recrystallization(DRX)and dynamic recovery(DRV),while that of MDF is dominated by *** iron impurities promote recrystallization by pinning-induced dislocation accumulation so that DRX is prone to occur at iron segregation regions during *** monotonic tensile results show that the strain hardening rate of CP-Ti increases with the decrease of grain size,while the continuous strain hardening ability *** relationship between the average grain size and yield strength is in accordance with Hall-Petch ***,the individual strengthening mechanisms were quantitatively examined by the modified *** results indicate that the strengthening contribution of dislocation accumulation to yield strength is greater than that of grain refinement.

One Dimensional Iron Molybdophosphate Anionic Chains with Different Structural Arrangements Reflecting a Flexibility Character

Structural comparison of a new compound [（bpp）3H6]Fe2ⅢFe2ⅡMo24Ⅴ（H2PO4）8（HPO4）4（PO4）4O48（OH）12·（H2O）4·2H2O（1）[bpp=1,3-di（4-pyridyl）propane] with our previously reported two compounds [（bpy）3FeⅡ]3·Fe2ⅢFe2ⅡMo24Ⅴ（H2PO4）8（HPO4）4（PO4）4O48（OH）12（H2O）4·12H2O（2） and [（bpy）3FeⅡ]2FeⅡFeⅢMo12Ⅴ（H2PO4）2（H2-xPO4）.（H1＋xPO4）（HPO4）2（PO4）2O24（OH）6（H2O）2·9H2O（x=0-1）（3）（bpy=2,2＇-bipyridine）,which all exhibit one-dimensional mixed-valence iron molybdophosphate anionic chains constructed by alternating connection of FeⅢ ions and magic [FeⅡ（Mo6P4O31）2] units,reveals that the non-hydrogen atomic ratios of Mo∶Fe∶P∶O within the polymeric anionic chains are the same for all the three compounds,while the polymeric anionic chains of the different compounds bear different numbers of negative *** therefore there exist different numbers of counter cations per {Fe2Ⅲ[Fe2Ⅱ（P16Mo24ⅤO124）]} unit found in the titled *** discloses that not only are the spatial assembling of counter cations and polymeric inorganic chains of three compounds quite different,but also the O-FeⅢ-O bond angles and FeⅢ-O bond lengths of the three different inorganic chains exhibit small *** is more important is that such small changes in bond length and bond angle in the assemblage of FeⅢ-O bonds lead to the considerable fluctuations of inorganic chains in their structural conformation within the three compounds,reflecting an interesting phenomenon of＂flexibility＂ in the pure inorganic one dimensional mixed-valence iron molybdophosphate chains.

Chiral metamaterials(CMs)composed by artificial chiral resonators have attracted great attentions in the recent decades due to their strong chiroptical resonance and identifiable interaction with chiral materials,facilitating practical applications in chiral biosensing,chiral emission,and display ***,the complex geometry of CMs improves the fabrication difficulty and hinders their scalable fabrication for practical applications,especially in the visible and ultraviolet *** potential strategy is the colloidal lithography that enables parallel fabrication for scalable and various planar ***,we demonstrate a stepwise colloidal lithography technique that uses sequential deposition from multiple CMs and expand their variety and *** geometry and optical chirality of building blocks from single deposition are systematically investigated,and their combination enables a significant extension of the range of chiral patterns by multiple-step *** approach resulted in a myriad of complex designs with different characteristic sizes,compositions,and shapes,which are particularly beneficial for the development of nanophotonic *** addition,we designed a flexible chiral device based on PDMS,which exhibits a good CD value and excellent stability even after multiple inward and outward *** excellent compatibility to various substrates makes the planar CMs more flexible in practical applications in microfluidic biosensing.

The distance measurements of supernova remnants in the fourth Galactic quadrant

We take advantage of red clump stars to build the relation of the optical extinction(AV) and distance in each direction of supernova remnants(SNRs) with known extinction in the fourth Galactic *** distances of nine SNRs are determined well by this *** uncertainties range from 10% to30%,which are significantly improved for eight SNRs,G279.0+1.1,G284.3–1.8,G296.1–0.5,G299.2–2.9,G308.4–1.4,G309.2–0.6,G309.8–2.6 and G332.4–*** addition,SNR G284.3–1.8 with the new distance of 5.5 kpc is not likely associated with the PSR J1016–5857 at 3 kpc.

ZYZ451 Protects cardiomyocytes from hypoxia-induced apoptosis by enhancing MnSOD and STAT3 interaction

In recent years, more and more attention has been paid to the Investigation of the ecological role of plant terpenolds. The biosynthesis pathways of monoterpenes, sesquiterpenes, and diterpenes Include the synthesis of C5 precursor isopentenyl diphosphate （IPP） and Its allylic isomer dlmethylallyl dlphosphate （DMAPP）, the synthesis of the immediate diphosphate precursors, and the formation of the diverse terpenoids. Terpene synthases （TPSs） play a key role In volatile terpene synthesis. By expression of the TPS genes, significant achievements have been made on metabolic engineering to Increase terpenoid production. This review mainly summarizes the recent research progress In elucidating the ecological role of terpenoids and characterization of the enzymes Involved in the terpenold biosynthesis. Spatial and temporal regulations of terpenoids metabolism are also discussed.

BACKGROUND Nutritional support for patients hospitalized in the intensive care unit(ICU)is an important part of clinical treatment and care,but there are significant implementation *** To introduce a modified nutritional support management system for ICU patients based on closed-loop information management and psychological *** The division of functions,personnel training,system construction,development of an intelligent decision-making software system,quality control,and improvement of the whole process were carried out to systematically manage nutritional support for ICU *** Following the implementation of the whole process management system,the scores of ICU medical staff’s knowledge,attitudes/beliefs,and practices regarding nutritional support were comprehensively *** proportion of hospital bed-days of total enteral nutrition(EN)in ICU patients increased from 5.58%to 11.46%,and the proportion of EN plus parenteral nutrition increased from 42.71%to 47.07%.The rate of EN initiation within 48 h of ICU admission increased from 37.50%to 48.28%,and the EN compliance rate within 72 h elevated from 20.59%to 31.72%.After the implementation of the project,the Self-rating Anxiety Scale score decreased from 61.07±9.91 points to 52.03±9.02 points,the Self-rating Depression Scale score reduced from 62.47±10.50 points to 56.34±9.83 points,and the ICU stay decreased from 5.76±2.77 d to 5.10±2.12 *** The nutritional support management system based on closed-loop information management and psychological counseling achieved remarkable results in clinical applications in ICU patients.

Garlicin Post-conditioning Suppresses Adhesion Molecules in Porcine Model of Myocardial Ischemia-Reperfusion Injury

Objective: To evaluate whether garlicin post-conditioning can attenuate myocardial ischemiareperfusion injury in a catheter-based porcine model of acute myocardial infarction(AMI) by affecting adhesion molecules integrin β1/CD29 and platelet endothelial cell adhesion molecule-1(PECAM-1/CD31). Methods: Twenty-two swine were devided into 3 groups: 6 in a sham-operation group, and 8 each in the model and garlicin groups. AMI porcine model was established in the model and garlicin groups. The distal parts of the left anterior descending coronary artery in the animals of the model and garlicin groups were occluded by dilated balloon for 2 h, followed by reperfusion for 3 h. Garlicin(1.88 mg/kg) was injected over a period of 1 h, beginning just before reperfusion, in the garlicin group. Real-time polymerase chain reaction, immunohistochemistry and Western blot were carried out to detect mRNA and protein expressions of CD29 and CD31 3 h after reperfusion. Results: Hematoxylin-eosin staining showed a better myocardial structure in the garlicin group after reperfusion. Compared to the model group, garlicin inhibited both the mRNA and protein expression of CD29 and CD31 in reperfusion area and no-reflow area(both Painst myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury in this catheter-based porcine model of AMI. The cardio-protective effect of garlicin is possibly owing to suppression of production of CD29 and CD31, by inhibition of the m RNA expression of CD29 and CD31.

An experimental study on erodibility of intertidal sediments in the Yellow River delta

The erodibility of intertidal sediments is an important factor affecting coastal *** July and October 2008,in situ measurement of erodibility of the surficial sediment were conducted using a recirculating flume at 20 tidal flat experiment sites along the seashore of the Yellow River *** the same time,the characteristics of sand ripples and biogenic features on the tidal flat were observed and the physical-mechanical sediment properties such as bulk density,water content,grain size distribution,plasticity,penetration resistance,shear strength and compressibility,were *** field measurement,it is obtained that the critical erosion shear stress of the surficial sediment on the tidal flat varies between 0.088 Pa and 0.254 *** factors influencing sediment erodibility are complicated because of physical and biological reworking after the sediment ***’s a positive correlation between shear strength and critical erosion shear *** burrowing crabs’ activities changed the sediment microtopography and made the sediment have greater roughness,and that is one possible reason for the higher *** formation of scour pits on the tidal flat correlates with the heterogeneous erodibility of the surficial sediment.
