The Association between Sugar-Sweetened Beverages and Hair Loss in Young Women

The association between sugar-sweetened beverages （SSBs） intake and hair loss condition might give scientific support for better dietary practices to prevent hair loss. We aimed to explore the association of SSBs intake with the hair loss condition in women. This online cross-sectional study， conducted from January to April 2022， recruited 1169 women aged 18 - 45 years from 31 provinces on mainland of China. We used the updated version of the 15-item Beverage Intake Questionnaire （BEVQ-15） to evaluate the usual beverage consumption over the past month and the Hair-Shedding Visual Scale for Asian Women （HSVS-A） to evaluate the extent of hair shedding. We utilized binary logistic regression to assess the association between SSBs intake and hair loss. Among 1169 female participants with an average age of 27.2， there were 211 （18.0%） participants with hair loss. Compared with participants who never drank SSBs， those who drank more than 7 times/week or 1000 mL/weeks were more likely to have hair loss， with an adjusted odds ratio （OR） of 2.25 （95% confidence interval [CI] = 1.32，3.83） or 2.22 （95% CI = 1.28，3.85）. Furthermore， the mediation effect of anxiety status on the association between SSBs and female hair loss was observed， with a significant indirect effect (βindirect =0.0199， 95% CI = 0.0032，0.0418). In conclusion， our study showed that women who consumed higher amounts of SSBs had an increased risk of hair loss， which might attract more attention from young women and benefit from reducing SSBs consumption. Further longitudinal and interventional studies are still needed to confirm the current association and provide evidenced-based health education.

The catalytic asymmetric diastereodivergent synthesis of axially chiral 2-alkenylindoles was established via chiral phosphoric acid-catalyzed addition reactions of C3-unsubstituted 2-alkenylindoles with o-hydroxybenzyl alcohols under different reaction *** this strategy,two series of 2-alkenylindoles bearing both axial and central chirality were synthesized in a diastereodivergent fashion with moderate to high yields and good stereoselectivities(up to 99%yield,95:5 er,>95:5 dr).Moreover,theoretical calculations were performed on the key transition states leading to different stereoisomers,which provided an in-depth understanding of the origin of the observed stereoselectivity and diastereodivergence of the products under different reaction *** importantly,these 2-alkenylindoles were utilized in asymmetric catalysis as chiral organocatalysts and in medicinal chemistry for evaluation of their cytotoxicity,which demonstrated their potential *** study has not only established the catalytic atroposelective synthesis of axially chiral 2-alkenylindoles,but also provided an efficient strategy for catalytic asymmetric diastereodivergent construction of indole-based scaffolds bearing both axial and central chirality.

Analysis of the Current Situation and Influencing Factors of Psychological Well-Being of Elderly People in the Community

Objective:To investigate the current psychological well-being of older people in the community and analyze its influencing ***:A total of 265 community-dwelling older adults aged 60 and above in Baoding City,Hebei Province,were selected through convenience sampling from November 2023 to March *** were surveyed using a general information questionnaire and a comprehensive well-being questionnaire,with results analyzed statistically using SPSS ***:Six dimensions of the psychological well-being scale for community older adults were identified:life vitality(P50=4.83),health concern(P50=4.6),self-worth(P50=5.6),friendly relationships(P50=5.33),altruistic behavior(P50=5.2),personality growth(P50=4.67),and comprehensive well-being(P50=161).Multivariate regression analysis showed that social isolation(β=-0.021,Paid(β=0.192,P<0.001),and monthly income(β=0.381,P<0.001)were factors influencing psychological ***:The psychological well-being of the elderly is slightly above moderate and requires *** factors such as reducing social isolation,addressing chronic disease history,and improving financial support could improve psychological well-being in older adults.

尺度参数优化是并联机构研究中一个重要且具挑战的问题。现有尺度参数优化的性能评价都是基于PM的全局可达空间,而实际并联机构是在指定大小的任务空间中使用的。本文提出了一种多目标尺度参数优化方法,通过将并联机构的尺度参数与指定的任务空间相关联,构建了一种新的归一化参数设计空间,并采用新的性能指标来评估并联机构在指定任务空间中的性能,该方法能在不同并联机构几何约束的设计空间中找到多目标优化结果。最后,以Delta并联机构为例,将该方法的尺度优化结果与传统全局优化方法进行比较,发现采用该方法优化的Delta机构在指定任务空间中具有更好的运动/力传递性能,从而证明了该方法的有效性。该方法也适用于其它并联机构指定任务空间的尺度优化。

Optimization problems are prevalent in various fields,and the gradient-based gradient descent algorithm is a widely adopted optimization ***,in classical computing,computing the numerical gradient for a function with variables necessitates at least d+1 function evaluations,resulting in a computational complexity of O(d).As the number of variables increases,the classical gradient estimation methods require substantial resources,ultimately surpassing the capabilities of classical ***,leveraging the principles of superposition and entanglement in quantum mechanics,quantum computers can achieve genuine parallel computing,leading to exponential acceleration over classical algorithms in some *** this paper,we propose a novel quantum-based gradient calculation method that requires only a single oracle calculation to obtain the numerical gradient result for a multivariate *** complexity of this algorithm is just O(1).Building upon this approach,we successfully implemented the quantum gradient descent algorithm and applied it to the variational quantum eigensolver(VQE),creating a pure quantum variational optimization *** with classical gradient-based optimization algorithm,this quantum optimization algorithm has remarkable complexity advantages,providing an efficient solution to optimization *** proposed quantum-based method shows promise in enhancing the performance of optimization algorithms,highlighting the potential of quantum computing in this field.

德曲妥珠单抗(trastuzumab deruxtecan,T-DXd)是抗体药物偶联体,由曲妥珠单抗、连接子、效应分子三部分构成,通过曲妥珠单抗识别表皮生长因子2(HER2)表达的肿瘤细胞后,经过胞吞胞饮进入细胞,在溶酶体酶作用下降解连接子,释放效应分子拓扑异构酶I抑制剂伊沙替康衍生物,从而发挥抗肿瘤作用。在乳腺癌治疗领域,对于经治的无法切除、转移的HER2阳性患者,T-DXd与恩美曲妥珠单抗无进展生存期(PFS)分别为28.8和6.8个月;在经治的无法切除、转移HER2低表达患者中,T-DXd与医生选择的化疗相比,激素受体阳性人群的PFS分别为10.1和5.4个月。对于脑转移人群,研究显示T-DXd的颅内病灶反应率约70%,中位PFS为14个月。骨髓抑制、肝功能损伤、胃肠道反应是该药物常见的不良反应;间质性肺病/肺炎是其特殊的不良反应,对患者生活质量影响大,需要勤监测、早发现、早治疗。T-DXd在研的临床研究覆盖乳腺癌治疗全程,主要探索药物在乳腺癌晚期一线、二线以及在新辅助、辅助阶段的治疗价值。本文对T-DXd的作用机制、药效学、药动学、重要临床试验及不良反应等进展进行了综述。

Objective This study aimed to evaluate whether the onset of the plateau phase of slow hepatitis B surface antigen decline in patients with chronic hepatitis B treated with intermittent interferon therapy is related to the frequency of dendritic cell subsets and expression of the costimulatory molecules CD40,CD80,CD83,and *** This was a cross-sectional study in which patients were divided into a natural history group(namely NH group),a long-term oral nucleoside analogs treatment group(namely NA group),and a plateau-arriving group(namely P group).The percentage of plasmacytoid dendritic cell and myeloid dendritic cell subsets in peripheral blood lymphocytes and monocytes and the mean fluorescence intensity of their surface costimulatory molecules were detected using a flow *** In total,143 patients were enrolled(NH group,n=49;NA group,n=47;P group,n=47).The results demonstrated that CD141/CD1c double negative myeloid dendritic cell(DNmDC)/lymphocytes and monocytes(%)in P group(0.041[0.024,0.069])was significantly lower than that in NH group(0.270[0.135,0.407])and NA group(0.273[0.150,0.443]),and CD86 mean fluorescence intensity of DNmDCs in P group(1832.0[1484.0,2793.0])was significantly lower than that in NH group(4316.0[2958.0,5169.0])and NA group(3299.0[2534.0,4371.0]),Adjusted P allaired maturation may be associated with the onset of the plateau phase during intermittent interferon therapy in patients with chronic hepatitis B.

基于声学黑洞与加强筋这两种结构设计出声学黑洞加筋板,通过建立声学黑洞加筋板、加强筋的有限元模型,对两种结构的声辐射特性、振动能量分布与传递特性开展研究。仿真结果表明:在高于截止频率时声学黑洞加筋板的辐射声功率级比普通加筋板降低8~20 dB,由于敷设的局部阻尼使聚集在声学黑洞区域的振动能得到有效的耗散,因此其振动水平下降明显且与声场耦合变弱;通过分析振动能量分布特性验证了声学黑洞加筋板结构大部分动能聚集在声学黑洞区域,减弱整体结构的振动水平;振动传递特性揭示了声学黑洞加筋板受声学黑洞聚能与加强筋阻振的叠加效应,相比于普通加筋板,声学黑洞加筋板具有更优的减振降噪性能。

Programmed cell death 1 inhibitor sintilimab plus concurrent chemoradiotherapy for locally advanced pancreatic adenocarcinoma

BACKGROUND Pancreatic adenocarcinoma,a malignancy that arises in the cells of the pancreas,is a devastating disease with unclear etiology and often poor *** advanced pancreatic cancer,a stage where the tumor has grown significantly but has not yet spread to distant organs,presents unique challenges in *** article aims to discuss the current strategies,challenges,and future directions in the management of locally advanced pancreatic adenocarcinoma(LAPC).aiM To investigate the feasibility and efficacy of programmed cell death 1(PD-1)inhibitor sintilimab plus concurrent chemoradiotherapy for *** Eligible patients had LAPC,an Eastern cooperative oncology group performance status of 0 or 1,adequate organ and marrow functions,and no prior anticancer *** the observation group,participants received intravenous sintilimab 200 mg once every 3 wk,and received concurrent chemoradiotherapy(concurrent conventional fractionated radiotherapy with doses planning target volume 50.4 Gy and gross tumor volume 60 Gy in 28 fractions and oral S-140 mg/m2 twice daily on days 1-14 of a 21-d cycle and intravenous gemcitabine 1000 mg/m2 on days 1 and 8 of a 21-d cycle for eight cycles until disease progression,death,or unacceptable toxicity).In the control group,participants only received concurrent *** April 2020 to November 2021,64 participants were finally enrolled with 34 in the observation group and 30 in the control *** Thirty-four patients completed the scheduled course of chemoradiotherapy,while 32(94.1%)received sintilimab plus concurrent chemoradiotherapy with 2 patients discontinuing sintilimab in the observation *** patients completed the scheduled course of chemoradiotherapy in the control *** on the Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors guidelines,the analysis of the observation group revealed that a partial response was observed in 11 patients(32.4%),stable disease was evident in 19 pa
