Esophageal cancer is the seventh most common type of cancer and the sixth leading cause of cancer-related mortality *** submucosal dissection(ESD)is widely used for the resection of early esophageal ***,post-ESD esophageal stricture is a common long-term complication,which requires *** with post-ESD esophageal stricture often experience dysphagia and require multiple dilatations,which greatly affects their quality of life and increases healthcare ***,to manage post-ESD esophageal stricture,researchers are actively exploring various strategies,such as pharmaceutical interventions,endoscopic balloon dilation,and esophageal *** steroids-based therapy has achieved some success,steroids can lead to complications such as osteoporosis and ***,endoscopic balloon dilatation is effective in the short term,but is prone to recurrence and ***,esophageal stenting can alleviate the stricture,but is associated with discomfort during stenting and the complication of easy displacement also present *** engineering has evolved rapidly in recent years,and hydrogel materials have good biodegradability and biocompatibility.A novel type of polyglycolic acid(PGA)sheets has been found to be effective in preventing esophageal stricture after ESD,with the advantages of a simple operation and low complication *** membranes act as a biophysical barrier to cover the wound as well as facilitate the delivery of medications to promote wound repair and ***,there is still a lack of multicenter,large-sample randomized controlled clinical studies focused on the treatment of post-ESD esophageal strictures with PGA membrane,which will be a promising direction for future advancements in this field.

HOG-VGG: VGG Network with HOG Feature Fusion for High-Precision PolSAR Terrain Classification

This article proposes a VGG network with histogram of oriented gradient (HOG) feature fusion (HOG-VGG) for polarization synthetic aperture radar (PolSAR) image terrain classification. VGG-Net has a strong ability of deep feature extraction， which can fully extract the global deep features of different terrains in PolSAR images， so it is widely used in PolSAR terrain classification. However， VGG-Net ignores the local edge & shape features， resulting in incomplete feature representation of the PolSAR terrains， as a consequence， the terrain classification accuracy is not promising. In fact， edge and shape features play an important role in PolSAR terrain classification. To solve this problem， a new VGG network with HOG feature fusion was specifically proposed for high-precision PolSAR terrain classification. HOG-VGG extracts both the global deep semantic features and the local edge & shape features of the PolSAR terrains， so the terrain feature representation completeness is greatly elevated. Moreover， HOG-VGG optimally fuses the global deep features and the local edge & shape features to achieve the best classification results. The superiority of HOG-VGG is verified on the Flevoland， San Francisco and Oberpfaffenhofen datasets. Experiments show that the proposed HOG-VGG achieves much better PolSAR terrain classification performance， with overall accuracies of 97.54%， 94.63%， and 96.07%， respectively.

RNA-binding proteins(RBPs)-RNA networks have contributed to cancer *** RNAs(circRNAs)are considered as protein recruiters;nevertheless,the patterns of circRNA-protein interactions in colorectal cancer(CRC)are still *** bodies(PBs)formed through liquid-liquid phase separation(LLPS)are membrane-less organelles(MLOs)consisting of RBPs and *** evidence suggests a connection between PBs dynamics and cancer *** the increasingly acknowledged crucial role of RBPs and RNA in the accumulation and maintenance of MLOs,there remains a lack of specific research on the interactions between PBs-related RBPs and circRNAs in ***,we identify that MEX-3 RNA binding family member A(MEX3A),frequently upregulated in CRC tissues,predicts poorer patient *** MEX3A accelerates malignance and inhibits autophagy of CRC ***,MEX3A undergoes intrinsically disordered regions(IDRs)-dependent LLPS in the ***,circMPP6 acts as a scaffold to facilitate the interaction between MEX3A and PBs *** MEX3A/circMPP6 complex modulates PBs dynamic and promotes UPF-mediated phosphodiesterase 5A(PDE5A)mRNA degradation,consequently leading to the aggressive properties of CRC ***,CRC patients exhibiting high MEX3A expression and low PDE5A expression have the poorest overall *** findings reveal a collaboration between MEX3A and circMPP6 in the regulation of mRNA decay through triggering the PBs aggregation,which provides prognostic markers and/or therapeutic targets for CRC.

BACKGROUND Although the benefits of antiviral therapy for hepatitis B virus(HBV)-related hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)have been proven,researchers have not con-firmed the differences in patient outcomes between patients who received preoperative antiviral therapy for a period of time(at least 24 wk)and patients who received remedial antiviral therapy just before radical resection for HBV-related *** To investigate the efficacy of perioperative remedial antiviral therapy in patients with HBV-related *** A retrospective study of patients who underwent radical resection for HBV-related HCC at the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University from January 2016 to June 2019 was *** the history of antiviral therapy,patients were assigned to remedial antiviral therapy and preoperative antiviral therapy *** Kaplan–Meier analysis revealed significant differences in overall survival(P<0.0001)and disease-free survival(P=0.035)between the two *** analysis demonstrated that a history of preoperative antiviral treatment was independently related to improved survival(hazard ratio=0.27;95%confidence interval:0.08-0.88;P=0.030).CONCLUSION In patients with HBV-related HCC,it is ideal to receive preoperative long-term antiviral therapy,which helps patients tolerate more extensive hepatectomy;however,remedial antiviral therapy,which reduces preoperative HBV-DNA levels to less than 4 Log10 copies DNA/mL,can also result in improved outcomes.

This research aimed to examine the diagnostic accuracy and clinical significance of endoscopic ultrasonography(EUS)in the context of small rectal neuroendocrine neoplasms(NENs).A total of 108 patients with rectal subepithelial lesions(SELs)with a diameter of<20 mm were included in the *** diagnosis and depth assessment of EUS was compared to the histology *** prevalence of NENs in rectal SELs was 78.7%(85/108).The sensitivity of EUS in detecting rectal NENs was 98.9%(84/85),while the specificity was 52.2%(12/23).Overall,the diagnostic accuracy of EUS in identifying rectal NENs was 88.9%(96/108).The overall accuracy rate for EUS in assessing the depth of invasion in rectal NENs was 92.9%(78/84).Therefore,EUS demonstrates reasonable diagnostic accuracy in detecting small rectal NENs,with good sensitivity but inferior *** may also assist physicians in assessing the depth of invasion in small rectal NENs before endoscopic excision.

The concentration difference in the near-surface region of lithium metal is the main cause of lithium dendrite *** this issue will be key to achieving high-performance lithium metal batteries(LMBs).Herein,we construct a lithium nitrate(LiNO_(3))-implanted electroactiveβphase polyvinylidene fluoride-co-hexafluoropropylene(PVDF-HFP)crystalline polymorph layer(PHL).The electronegatively charged polymer chains attain lithium ions on the surface to form lithium-ion charged *** channels act as reservoirs to sustainably release Li ions to recompense the ionic flux of electrolytes,decreasing the growth of lithium *** stretched molecular channels can also accelerate the transport of Li *** combined effects enable a high Coulombic efficiency of 97.0%for 250 cycles in lithium(Li)||copper(Cu)cell and a stable symmetric plating/stripping behavior over 2000 h at 3 mA cm^(-2)with ultrahigh Li utilization of 50%.Furthermore,the full cell coupled with PHL-Cu@Li anode and Li Fe PO_(4) cathode exhibits long-term cycle stability with high-capacity retention of 95.9%after 900 ***,the full cell paired with LiNi_(0.87)Co_(0.1)Mn_(0.03)O_(2)maintains a discharge capacity of 170.0 mAh g^(-1)with a capacity retention of 84.3%after 100 cycles even under harsh condition of ultralow N/P ratio of *** facile strategy will widen the potential application of LiNO_(3)in ester-based electrolyte for practical high-voltage LMBs.
