With the rapid development of electrical power systems in recent years,microgrids(MGs)have become increasingly *** improve network efficiency and reduce operating costs and emissions because of the integration of distributed renewable energy sources(RESs),energy storage,and source-load management *** these advances,the decentralized architecture of MGs impacts the functioning patterns of the entire system,including control strategy,energy management philosophy,and protection *** this context,developing a convenient protection strategy for MGs is challenging because of various obstacles,such as the significant variance in short-circuit values under different operating modes,two-way power flow,asynchronous reclosing,protection blinding,sympathetic tripping,and loss of *** light of these challenges,this paper reviews prior research on proposed protection schemes for AC-MGs to thoroughly evaluate network protection’s potential *** paper also provides a comprehensive overview of the MG structure and the associated protection challenges,solutions,real applications,and future trends.

We introduce first the spanning simplicial complex(SSC)of a multigraph g,which gives a generalization of the SSC associated with a simple graph *** properties are discussed for the SSC of a family of uni-cyclic multigraphs U_(n)^(r),m with n edges including r multiple edges within and outside the cycle of length m,which are then used to compute the f-vector and Hilbert series of face ring k[△s(U_(n)^(r),m)]for the SSC △s(U_(n)^(r),m)(un,m).Moreover,we find the associated primes of the facet ideal I_(F)(△s(U_(n)^(r),m).Finally,we device a formula for homology groups of △s(U_(n)^(r),m) prove that the SsC of a family of uni-cyclic multigraphs is Cohen-Macaulay.

In microfluidic impedance cytometry,the change in impedance is recorded as an individual cell passes through a channel between electrodes deposited on its walls,and the particle size is inferred from the amplitude of the impedance signal using ***,because the current density is nonuniform between electrodes of finite width,there could be an error in the particle size measurement because of uncertainty about the location of the particle in the channel cross ***,a correlation is developed relating the particle size to the signal amplitude and the velocity of the particle through the *** latter is inferred from the time interval between the two extrema in the impedance curve as the particle passes through a channel with cross-sectional dimensions of 50μm(width)×30μm(height)with two pairs of parallel facing *** change in impedance is predicted using 3D COMSOL finite-element simulations,and a theoretical correlation that is independent of particle size is formulated to correct the particle diameter for variations in the cross-sectional *** this correlation,the standard deviation in the experimental data is reduced by a factor of two to close to the standard deviation reported in the manufacturer specifications.

We use non-equilibrium molecular dynamics simulations to calculate the self-diffusion coefficient, D, of a Lennard Jones fluid over a wide density and temperature range. The change in self-diffusion coefficient with temperature decreases by increasing density. For density ρ＊ = ρσ3 = 0.84 we observe a peak at the value of the self-diffusion coefficient and the critical temperature T＊ = kT/ε = 1.25. The value of the self-diffusion coefficient strongly depends on system size. The data of the self-diffusion coefficient are fitted to a simple analytic relation based on hydrodynamic arguments. This correction scales as n-α, where α is an adjustable parameter and n is the number of particles. It is observed that the values of a 〈 1 provide quite a good correction to the simulation data. The system size dependence is very strong for lower densities, but it is not as strong for higher densities. The self-diffusion coefficient calculated with non-equilibrium molecular dynamic simulations at different temperatures and densities is in good agreement with other calculations fronl the literature.

Synthesized iron oxyhydroxide was applied for the adsorptive removal of As(V)and As(III)from the aquas ***,this investigation highlighted the synergistic effect of calcium carbonate in conjunction with iron oxyhydroxide,result.ng in enhanced removal *** experiment was conducted under various conditions:concentration,dosage,pH,agitation,and *** characterizations such as Brunauer Emmett Teller,X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy,and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy were implied to understand adsorption *** Langmuir model revealed optimal concentrations for As(V)=500μg/L at pH-5 and As(III)=200μg/L at pH-7,result.ng in 95%and 93%adsorption efficiencies,*** adsorption capacities“qm”were found to be 1266.943μg/g for As(V)and 1080.241μg/g for As(III).Freundlich model demonstrated favorable adsorption by indicating“n>1”such as As(V)=2.542 and As(III)=2.707;similarly,the speciation factor“RLnd As(III)=0.5,*** kinetic study presented a pseudo-second-order model as best fitted,indicating throughout chemisorption processes for removing As(V)and As(III).Furthermore,incorporating calcium carbonate presented a significant leap in the removal efficiency,indicating As(V)from 95%to 98%and As(III)from 93%to 96%,*** findings offer profound motivation for developing effective and sustainable solutions to tackle arsenic contamination,underscoring the exceptional promise of iron oxyhydroxide in conjunction with calcium carbonate to achieve maximum removal efficiency.

The sixth-generation(6G)wireless communication networks are anticipated in integrating aerial,terrestrial,and maritime communication into a robust system to accomplish trustworthy,quick,and low latency *** enables to achieve maximum throughput and delay for several ***,the evolution of 6G leads to the design of unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs)in providing inexpensive and effective solutions in various application areas such as healthcare,environment monitoring,and so *** the UAV network,effective data collection with restricted energy capacity poses a major issue to achieving high quality network *** can be addressed by the use of clustering techniques forUAVs in 6G *** this aspect,this study develops a novel metaheuristic based energy efficient data gathering scheme for clustered unmanned aerial vehicles(MEEDG-CUAV).The proposed MEEDG-CUAV technique intends in partitioning the UAV networks into various clusters and assign a cluster head(CH)to reduce the overall energy ***,the quantum chaotic butterfly optimization algorithm(QCBOA)with a fitness function is derived to choose CHs and construct *** experimental validation of the MEEDG-CUAV technique occurs utilizing benchmark dataset and the experimental results highlighted the better performance over the other state of art techniques interms of different measures.
