Protective effect of naringenin on acetic acid-induced ulcerative colitis in rats

Geologists interpret seismic data to understand subsurface properties and subsequently to locate underground hydrocarbon *** are among the most important geological features interpreters analyze to locate petroleum ***,manual channel picking is both time consuming and ***,similar to any other process dependent on human intervention,manual channel picking is error prone and *** address these issues,automatic channel detection is both necessary and important for efficient and accurate seismic *** systems make use of real-time image processing techniques for different *** channel detection is a combination of different mathematical methods in digital image processing that can identify streaks within the images called channels that are important to the oil *** this paper,we propose an innovative automatic channel detection algorithm based on machine learning *** new algorithm can identify channels in seismic data/images fully automatically and tremendously increases the efficiency and accuracy of the interpretation *** algorithm uses deep neural network to train the classifier with both the channel and non-channel *** provide a field data example to demonstrate the performance of the new *** training phase gave a maximum accuracy of 84.6%for the classifier and it performed even better in the testing phase,giving a maximum accuracy of 90%.

Prominent catalytic activity of mesoporous molecular sieves in the vapor phase dehydration of cyclohexanol to cyclohexene

Cerium incorporated KIT-6 mesoporous materials were synthesized through direct hydrothermal method and characterized by using X-ray diffraction （XRD）, nitrogen sorption isotherm （BET）, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy （FT-IR）, inductively coupled plasma - atomic emission spectroscopy （ICP-AEs）, diffuse reflectance ultraviolet visible spectroscopy （DRs-UV-Vis）, ther- mogravimetric analysis （TGA）, scanning electron microscopy （sEM） and transmission electron microscopy （TEM） methods. It ap- peared that stable cerium ions were inserted into the silica framework of KIT-6, thus generating acid properties in their host materials. The catalytic activity of Ce-KIT-6 materials was evaluated in the vapor phase dehydration of cyclohexanol to cyclohexene and dicy- clohexyl ether at different temperatures with various si/Ce molar ratios. Ce-KIT-6 （25） showed higher activity with 54% cyclohexa- nol conversion and 64% selectivity to cyclohexene. The catalytic results indicated that Ce-KIT-6 mesoporous materials could be used as versatile and stable acid catalysts.

Dodecyl alcohol(DDA) is a promising solid-liquid phase change material(PCM) due to its favorable latent heat storage(LHs) ***,the leakage issue of PCM in a melted state during the heating period and low thermal conductivity restricts its utilization potential in thermal energy storage(TEs) *** the same context,the present work aims to overcome the leakage issue and improve the thermal conductivity of the *** this in mind,a novel leak-proof layered double hydroxide(LDH)/DDA composite PCM is proposed through a solution-based impregnation *** leak-proof impregnation ratio of the DDA impregnated within the cavities of the synthesized al/Fe-LDH was determined to be 60%.Detailed morphological,physicochemical,and thermal properties of the fabricated composite were studied by scanning electron microscopy(sEM),Fourier transforms infrared(FTIR) spectroscopy,X-ray diffraction(XRD)spectroscopy,differential scanning calorimetry(DsC),thermalgravimetric analysis(TGA),and thermal cycling *** results show that the LDH/DDA composite has a suitable phase change temperature(about 20℃) for passive solar thermal management of building *** composite PCM showed high LHs enthalpy(about136 J/g),good thermal stability,and cycling LHs *** also showed nearly 152% higher thermal conductivity compared to that of pure DDA,ultimately reducing the melting and solidification time of the pure DDA by 44.9% and 45.5%,respectively.

alzheimer’s disease(AD)is a neurodevelopmental impairment that results in a person’s behavior,thinking,and memory *** common symptoms ofADare losingmemory and early *** addition to these,there are several serious impacts ***,the impact ofADcanbemitigatedby early-stagedetection though it cannot be cured ***-stage detection is the most challenging task for controlling and mitigating the impact of *** study proposes a predictive model to detect AD in the initial phase based on machine learning and a deep learning approach to address the *** build a predictive model,open-source data was collected where five stages of images of AD were available as Cognitive Normal(CN),Early Mild Cognitive Impairment(EMCI),Mild Cognitive Impairment(MCI),Late Mild Cognitive Impairment(LMCI),and *** stage of AD is considered as a class,and then the dataset was divided into three parts binary class,three class,and five *** this research,we applied different preprocessing steps with augmentation techniques to efficiently *** integrates a random oversampling technique to handle the imbalance problem from target classes,mitigating the model overfitting and *** three machine learning classifiers,such as random forest(RF),K-Nearest neighbor(KNN),and support vector machine(sVM),and two deep learning methods,such as convolutional neuronal network(CNN)and artificial neural network(ANN)were applied on these *** analyzing the performance of the used models and the datasets,it is found that CNN with binary class outperformed 88.20%*** result of the study indicates that the model is highly potential to detect AD in the initial phase.

With widespread use of relational database in various real-life applications,maintaining integrity and providing copyright protection is gaining keen interest of the *** this purpose,watermarking has been used for quite a long *** requires the role of trusted third party and a mechanism to extract digital signatures(watermark)to prove the ownership of the data under *** is often inefficient as lots of processing is ***,certain malicious attacks,like additive attacks,can give rise to a situation when more than one parties can claim the ownership of the same data by inserting and detecting their own set of watermarks from the same *** solve this problem,we propose to use blockchain technology—as trusted third party—along with watermarking for providing a means of rights protection of relational *** blockchain for writing the copyright information alongside watermarking helps to secure the watermark as changing the blockchain is very *** way,we combined the resilience of our watermarking scheme and the strength of blockchain technology—for protecting the digital rights information from alteration—to design and implement a robust scheme for digital right protection of relational ***,we also discuss how the proposed scheme can also be used for version *** proposed technique works with nonnumeric features of relational database and does not target only selected tuple or portion(subset)from the database for watermark embedding unlike most of the existing techniques;as a result,the chances of subset selection containing no watermark decrease *** proposed technique employs zerowatermarking approach and hence no intentional error(watermark)is added to the original *** results of the experiments proved the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.
