We demonstrated a new type of MAX phase material,chromium titanium aluminum carbide(Cr_(2)TialC_(2)) polymer film,to generate a passively Q-switched erbium-doped fiber laser(EDFL).The film thickness was measured to be around 45 μm,which was fabricated using the embedding method with polyvinyl alcohol(PVA) polymer as *** saturable absorber(sA) film demonstrates a dual-wavelength passively Q-switched EDFL which operates at 1 531 nm and 1 560.19 nm,*** Q-switching pulse duration could be varied from 2.46 μs to 770 ns,while the repetition rate varied from 92.76 kHz to 106.6 kHz with an increasing input pumping range from 154 mW to 300 *** maximum output power and pulse energy of 15.05 mW and 141.18 nJ were obtained at the maximum input power of 300 mW,respectively.

Developing cost-effective and high-performance catalyst systems for dry reforming of methane(DRM)is crucial for producing hydrogen(H_(2))***,we investigate using iron(Fe)as a promoter and major alumina support in Ni-based catalysts to improve their DRM *** addition of iron as a promotor was found to add reducible iron species along with reducible NiO species,enhance the basicity and induce the deposition of oxidizable *** incorporating 1 wt.%Fe into a 5Ni/10Zral catalyst,a higher CO_(2) interaction and formation of reducible"NiO-species having strong interaction with support"was observed,which led to an∼80%H_(2) yield in 420 min of Time on stream(TOs).Further increasing the Fe content to 2 wt.%led to the formation of additional reducible iron oxide species and a noticeable rise in H_(2) yield up to 84%.Despite the severe weight loss on Fe-promoted catalysts,high H_(2) yield was maintained due to the proper balance between the rate of CH_(4) decomposition and the rate of carbon deposit ***,incorporating 3 wt.%Fe into the 5Ni/10Zral catalyst resulted in the highest CO_(2) interaction,wide presence of reducible NiO-species,minimumgraphitic deposit and an 87%H_(2) *** findings suggest that ironpromoted zirconia-alumina-supported Ni catalysts can be a cheap and excellent catalytic system for H_(2) production via DRM.

In this study,we revisit supersymmetric(sUsY)hybrid inflation within the context of considering the latest Cosmic Microwave Background(CMB)observations and swampland *** demonstrate that sUsY hybrid inflation remains consistent with Planck 2018 data when radiative,soft mass,and supergravity(sUGRA)corrections are applied to the scalar *** is commonly perceived that sUsY hybrid inflation with a minimal Kahler potential results in a gauge symmetry breaking scale M of O(10^(15))GeV,leading to issues with the proton decay *** our analysis,we introduce a novel parameter space that alleviates the proton decay issue by achieving M~10^(16) GeV with M_(s)^(2)*** scenario necessitates a soft sUsY breaking scale|M_(s)|■10^(6) ***,we find that the tensor-to-scalar ratio r spans from 10^(-16) to 10^(-6),indicating a very small *** small ratio allows the modified swampland criteria to hold,although satisfying the trans-Planckian censorship conjecture(TCC)remains *** address this,we also explo non-minimal Kahler *** fixing the spectral index at n_(s)=0.9665,consistent with the central value of Planck 2018 data,and setting M=2×10^(16)GeV,we present our *** show that the canonical measure of primordial gravitational waves,r,for M_(s)=1 TeV,m_(3/2)=1 TeV,and k_(s)s from 10^(-5) to 0.01,rendering it detectable by Planck and upcoming experiments such as LiteBIRD,simons Observatory,PRIsM,PIXIE,CORE,CMB-s4,and ***,we outline the parametric space and provide benchmark points for the non-minimal case to ensure compatibility with both the modified swampland conjecture and TCC.

As the population ages,the burden of age-related diseases becomes ***,over 55 million people suffer from dementia worldwide,with alzheimer’s disease being the most common ***,it is becoming clearer that underlying vascular pathology such as cerebral small vessel disease(csVD)may be a more detrimental cause for dementia(Cuadrado-Godia et al.,2018).It is estimated that 10%-30%of the elderly population and 35%-90%of all dementia patients exhibit signs of *** term csVD refers to pathology affecting the small vessels of the brain,which can lead to lacunar cerebral infarcts,enlarged perivascular spaces,and cortical hemorrhages(Cuadrado-Godia et al.,2018).CsVD is often associated with cognitive decline,gait problems,and dementia(Cuadrado-Godia et al.,2018).

The interest in using the Datura stramonium plant is due to its natural products,which are used in many pharmaceutical *** objective of the current study was to assess the therapeutic and cytotoxic effects of the *** plant on two types of human cancer cell models(MCF7 and HT29)in vitro.A soxhlet apparatus was used to obtain methanolic extract from dried plant *** recovered crude,after the solvent had evaporated,was then dispersed at varied concentrations of extract 100,50,20,and 0.0µg/mL and tested to see how the cells ***,the cancer-testis antigen(CTA)gene transcription in the two cell types exposed to the plant extract was examined using a semi-quantitative real-time polymerase chain *** chromatography–mass spectrometry(GC-Ms)results produced the significant main metabolites Nonanoic acid,Tropine N-Oxide,3,6-Ditigloyloxy-7-hydroxytropane,Hexadecanoic acid,2-Pentadecanone,6,10,14-trimethyl-,Carvenone,methyl ester,Phytol,Aposcopolamine,Hyoscyamine,4,8,12,16-Tetramethylheptadecan-4-olide,scopolamine,alpha.-Tocospiro A,1,2-Cycloheptanedione,3,3,7,7-tetramethyl-,dihydrazone,Campesterol,stigmasterol,Gamma-sitosterol and dl-.alpha.-*** results showed that the two types of cell lines impacted by *** extract,through untreated type 1 cells(MCF7)gave a highly significant transcription according to all applicable *** implemented analyses cleared the strong genetic impacts of Datura extract on cancer cells’***2LY and C2orf63 transcript accumulation were also significantly elevated when exposed to plant extract at a level of 50µg/mL in cell line type 2(HT29),but TGIF2LY and P53 had the lowest relative expression at a level of 100µg/mL when treated the same cell line type.

Objective: stroke is perceived as a serious illness although it is preventable, and lifestyle alterations can be made to reduce its risk. Improvement of stroke care should be achieved through awareness of public, especially through high-risk group. Henceforth, the aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of nursing intervention on improving awareness of high-risk people about stroke prevention. Methods: A quasi-experimental design was used to carry out this study, where a purposive sample of 80 adult patients at high risk for stroke were enrolled while they were attending the out-patient clinics of Zagazig University Hospitals for follow-up treatment;they were divided into two groups: case (40 patients) and control (40 patients). An interview questionnaire was used to assess patients’ knowledge regarding warning signs, risk factors, and immediate treatment;attitude;and their practice for prevention for stroke at pretest and posttest. Results: The study revealed the poor level of knowledge, bad level of preventive behavior, and negative attitude regarding stroke prevention at pre-intervention. However, after intervention, the high-risk people had fair level of knowledge with moderate practice for stroke prevention and positive attitude, with statistically significant difference between pre-post intervention and between the case and control groups. Conclusions: The study revealed that the nursing intervention seemed to change the knowledge, practice, and attitude of subjects regarding stroke prevention. This, in turn, implies that awareness of prevention of stroke and high-risk factor control could be important to reduce the burden of stroke in Egypt. Thus, further research on a larger scale is required to improve population knowledge and behavior for stroke prevention and control.

Maintaining the integrity and longevity of structures is essential in many industries,such as aerospace,nuclear,and *** achieve the cost-effectiveness of large-scale systems in petroleum drilling,a strong emphasis on structural durability and monitoring is *** study focuses on the mechanical vibrations that occur in rotary drilling systems,which have a substantial impact on the structural integrity of drilling *** study speciﬁcally investigates axial,torsional,and lateral vibrations,which might lead to negative consequences such as bit-bounce,chaotic whirling,and high-frequency *** events not only hinder the efﬁciency of drilling but also lead to exhaustion and harm to the system’s components since they are difﬁcult to be detected and controlled in real *** study investigates the dynamic interactions of these vibrations,speciﬁcally in their high-frequency modes,usingﬁeld data obtained from measurement while ***ﬁndings have demonstrated the effect of strong coupling between the high-frequency modes of these vibrations on drilling sys-tem *** obtained results highlight the importance of considering the interconnected impacts of these vibrations when designing and implementing robust control ***,integrating these compo-nents can increase the durability of drill bits and drill strings,as well as improve the ability to monitor and detect ***,by exploiting theseﬁndings,the assessment of structural resilience in rotary drilling systems can be ***,the study demonstrates the capacity of structural health monitoring to improve the quality,dependability,and efﬁciency of rotary drilling systems in the petroleum industry.
