The Low Voltage Direct Current(LVDC)architecture gives higher benefits over the classic low-voltage alternating current(LVAC)supply *** has fewer energy conversion stages,is compatible with renewable energy sources,and is easier to integrate with *** this paper,an LVDC supply concept is proposed and compared with currently used conventional photovoltaic(PV)systems in terms of *** new LVDC photovoltaic system behavior is validated using LTspice modeling *** findings of this work prove that the concept of LVDC supply is highly attractive when the electricity produced by the photovoltaic is used onsite in the *** carry out an efficient system,the PV power mounted in the houses should be precisely rated with respect to the magnitude of the load energy *** proposed three house examples to verify the superiority of our proposed system in comparison with the traditional LVDC PV *** ann.al analysis of the energy saved by the studied systems was carried *** main benefit of the suggested LVDC supply is the short way taken by the energy generated by the photovoltaic system to supply DC loads within daytime *** registered increase in system efficiency reached more than 20%for the proposed LVDC system.

A sensitive and selective method employing chemiluminescence(CL)coupled with flow injection(FI)is reported for nalbuphine hydrochloride(nAL)assay in pharmaceutical *** en.ancement effect of nAL on the CL reaction between tris(2,2′-bipyridyl)ruthenium(II)chloride-diperiodatocuprate(III){Ru[(bpy)_(3)]^(2+)-Cu(III)complex}in.acidic medium is used as analytical *** optimal conditions of the CL reaction were sulfuric acid 1.0×10^(−3) mol/L,Ru[(bpy)s]2+7.5×10^(−5) mol/L,Cu(III)/Ag(III)complexes 4.0×10^(−4)/5.0×10^(−4) mol/L,sample loop volume of 120µL and flow rate of 2.5 mL/*** sensitivities of the method in terms of detection(S/n=3)and quantification(S/n=10)limits are 5×10^(−4) and 0.001 ppm(1 ppm=1 mg/L),*** lin.ar response of the instrument in the form of CL intensity with respect to nAL concentration is over the range 0.001-15.0 ppm(R^(2)=0.9999)with relative stan.ard deviation from 0.8%to 3.2%and injection throughput of 120 injection/*** applications of the method include the quantitative analysis of nAL in pharmaceutical injection *** and the average results of the proposed method are not significantly different from the results of a reported method by applying F-and paired student *** most likely CL reaction mechanism is written in.accordance with spectrophotometric and CL studies.

We consider a system of n particles living on the noncommutative plane in the presence of a confining potential and study its thermodynamics properties. Indeed, after calculating the partition function, we determine the corresponding internal energy and heat capacity where different corrections are obtained. In.analogy with the magnetic field case, we define an effective magnetization.and study its susceptibility in terms of the noncommutative parameter θ.By introducing the chemical potential, we investigate the Bose-Einstein conden.ation for the present system. Different limiting cases related to the temperature and θ will be analyzed as well as some numerical illustration will be presented.

Electricity theft is one of the major issues in developing countries which is affecting their economy *** with the introduction of emerging technologies,this issue became more *** many new energy theft detection(ETD)techniques have been proposed by utilising different data mining(DM)techniques,state&network(S&n)based techniques,and game theory(GT)***,a detailed survey is presented where many state-of-the-art ETD techniques are studied and analysed for their strengths and *** levels of taxonomy are presented to classify state-of-the-art ETD *** types and ways of energy theft and their consequences are studied and summarised and different parameters to benchmark the performance of proposed techniques are extracted from *** challenges of different ETD techniques and their mitigation.are suggested for future *** is observed that the literature on ETD lacks knowledge management techniques that can be more effective,not only for ETD but also for theft *** can help in the prevention of energy theft,in the future,as well as for ETD.

Objective:To explore the prophylactic and therapeutic effects of Alhagi maurorum ethanolic extract(AME)in con.anavalin.a(Con.a)-induced hepatitis(CIH)as well as possible underlying ***:Polyphenols in.aME were characterized using high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC).Swiss albino mice were divided into 4 *** group received intravenous phosphate-buffered saline(PBS);Con.a group received 40 mg/kg intravenous Con *** group administered 300 mg/(kg·d)AME orally for 5 days before Con.a *** group received intravenous Con.a then.administered300 mg/kg AME at 30 min.and 3 h after Con.a *** 24 h of Con.a injection,hepatic injury,oxidative stress,and inflammatory mediators were *** examination.and markers of apoptosis,inflammation.and CD4^(+)cell infiltration were also ***:HPLC analysis revealed that AME con.ains abun.ant polyphenols with pharmacological constituents,such as ellagic acid,gallic acid,ferulic acid,methylgallate,and *** alleviated Con.a-induced hepatic injury,as manifested by a significant reduction in.alanine aminotransferase,aspartate aminotransferase and alkaline phosphatase(Pnally,the antioxidant effect of AME was revealed by a significant reduction in oxidative stress markers(nitric oxide and malondialdehyde)and restored glutathione(Pnflammatory cytokines(tumor necrosis factor-α,interferon-γ,and interleukin-6)and c-Jun n-terminal kinase(JnK)activity were reduced(Pnation of liver tissue showed that AME significantly ameliorated necrotic and inflammatory lesions induced by Con.a(Pn of nuclear factor kappa B,pro-apoptotic protein(Bax),caspase-3,and CD4^(+)T cell hepatic infiltration(Pn of anti-apoptotic protein Bcl-2 was increased(Pnclusions:AME has hepatoprotective and ameliorative effects in CIH mice

With the rapid development of wireless communication technology,the spectrum resources are increasingly strained which needs optimal *** radio(CR)is one of the key technologies to solve this *** sensing not only includes the precise detection of the communication signal of the primary user(PU),but also the precise identification of its modulation type,which can then determine the a priori information such as the PU’service category,so as to use this information to make the cognitive user(CU)aware to discover and use the idle spectrum more effectively,and improve the spectrum *** sensing is the primary feature and core part of *** sensing algorithms includes energy detection,cyclostationary feature detection,matched filter detection.and so *** energy detection.algorithm has a simple structure and does not require prior knowledge of the PU transmitter signal,but it is easily affected by noise and the threshold is not easy to *** combination of multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO)with CR improves the spectral efficiency and multipath fading *** best utilize the PU spectrum while minimizing the overall transmit power,an iterative technique based on semidefinite programming(SDP)and minimum mean squared error(MMSE)is ***,this article proposed a new method for max-min fairness *** compared to existing algorithms,the simulation results show that the proposed algorithms perform better in terms of total transmitted power and signal-tointerference plus noise ratio(SInR).Furthermore,the proposed algorithm effectively improved the system performance in terms of number of iterations,interference temperature threshold and balance SInR level which makes it superior over the conventional schemes.

The multifunctionality and the advan.ages of thermal plasma for the fast inactivation of viable cells and degradation of organic compounds dissolved in waste water are presented.A complete bacterial inactivation process was observed and studied using a thermal plasma treatment source with very short application times,in particular for Staphylococcus aureus bundle spore *** survival curves and analyses of the experimen.al data of the initial and final densities of *** bacteria show a dramatic inhibitory effect of the plasma discharge on the residual bacteria survival *** the exposure time increased,the inactivation process rate increased for direct exposure more than it did for indirect *** evaluation of direct and indirect exposure was based on the analysis of the ultraviolet spectrum from the absorbance spectra of the organic compound dye called benzene sulfonate（C（16）H（11）n2na O4S）and of viable cells called *** compounds were degraded and viable cells were killed in.a short time by thermal ***,analyses of total carbon,total organic carbon.and total inorganic carbon showed a fast decrease in organically bound carbon,however,this was not as fast as the absorbance spectra revealed by the exposure time increasing more for direct exposure than indirect *** 100 s of exposure to the organic compound dye the removal had a maximun of 40%for samples with indirect exposure to the plasma and a maximum of 90%for samples with the direct *** both samples,where some organic con.aminants still remained in treated water,four electrolytes（KCl,na Cl,na2SO4,and CH3COOna）were added to be effective for complete sterilization,reaching a purity of 100%.A proposal is made for an optimized thermal plasma water purification system（TPWPS）to improve fast inactivation of microbes and the degradation of organic compounds dissolved in water（especially for direct exposure rather than indirect exposure）using a hybrid plasma to

En.anced photocatalytic activity of Ce-doped ZnO nanopowders synthesized by combustion method

Facile and fast combustion method was used to synthesize Zn O and Ce-doped Zn O（CZO） nanocrystalline powders photocatalysts with different cerium concentrations（0.5 wt.%–10.0 wt.%） followed by calcination.at 700 oC for 3 h. The prepared samples were characterized by a variety of characterization techniques such as X-ray diffraction（XRD）, scanning electron microscopy（SEM） combined with energy dispersive X-ray diffraction（EDX）, transmission electron microscopy（TEM）, UV-visible spectroscopy, BET surface area analyser and photoluminescence spectroscopy（PL）, to study the crystal structure, surface morphology, chemical composition.and optical properties. It was observed from XRD results that synthesized powders had hexagonal wurtzite structure with the smallest crystallite size about 13 nm. Absorption spectra showed that cerium doping en.anced the light absorption properties towards the visible light region. Photoluminescence spectra for Ce-doped Zn O samples exhibited relatively weak n.ar band edge（nBE） emission peaks as compared to that of pristine Zn O. The photocatalytic activities of the prepared samples were evaluated by photocatalytic degradation of Rhodamine B（Rh B） under UV light and visible light（λ≥420 nm） irradiation. The textile mill effluent con.aining organic matters was also treated under sunlight using photocatalysis and the reduction in the chemical oxygen demand（COD） of the treated effluent revealed a complete destruction of the organic molecules along with colour removal. The results showed that the CZO photocatalyst doped with 3.0 wt.% cerium exhibited four times en.anced photocatalytic activity compared to pure Zn O. The en.anced photocatalytic activity could be attributed to extended visible light absorption.and inhibition of the electron-hole pair＇s recombination.

Introduction:In this study,metal pollution.and their sources in surface soils were evaluated by pollution indices and multivariate statistical techniques in.association with a geographical information system(GIS).Methods:Surface soil samples were collected in dry season from different locations of Dhaka Aricha highway and analyzed by energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence(EDXRF).Results:Thirteen different metals were found in the tested *** indices are determined by enrichment factor in.an order of Zr>Sn>P>Mn>Zn>Rb>Fe>Ba>Sr>Ti>K>Ca>*** resulting geoaccumulation index(Igeo)value shows the following order:Sn>Zr>P>Mn>Zn>Rb>Fe>Ba>Ti>Sr>K>Ca>*** factors(CFs)of the metals range from 1.422 to 3.979(Fe);0.213 to 1.089(Al);0.489 to 3.484(Ca);1.496 to 2.372(K);1.287 to 3.870(Ti);2.200 to 14.588(Mn);5.938 to 56.750(Zr);0.980 to 3.500(Sr);2.321 to 4.857(Rb);2.737 to 6.526(Zn);16.667 to 27.333(Sn);3.157 to 16.286(P);and 0.741 to 3.328(Ba).Pollution load index calculated from the CFs indicates that soils are strongly con.aminated by Zr and *** component analysis(PCA)of parameters exhibits three major components.R-mode cluster analysis reveals three distinct groups in both site and metal basis clustering that shows a similar pattern with the ***:These results might be helpful for future monitoring of further increase of heavy metal concentrations in surface soils along highways.
