Globally,groundwater has globally em.rged as a crucial freshwater source for dom.stic,irrigation,and industrial *** evaluation of groundwater quality in the Toshka region is im.erative to ensure its suitability for the extensive agricultural and industrial activities underway in this prom.sing,groundwater-dependent developm.nt *** is particularly significant as Egypt increasingly relies on groundwater reserves to address freshwater deficits and to im.lem.nt m.ga-developm.nt projects in barren *** this study,fifty-two sam.les were collected from.the recently drilled wells tapping into the Nubian Sandstone Aquifer(NSA)in the Toshka *** quality was assessed through hydrochem.cal analysis,Piper diagram.and various indicators such as Na%,SAR,RSC,KR,m. and *** hydrochem.cal analysis revealed im.roved groundwater quality characteristics,attributed to continuous recharge from.Lake *** Piper diagram.categorised m.st of the water sam.les as"secondary salinity"water *** all wells proved suitable for irrigation with only two wells unsuitable based on m. values and six wells based on KR *** Total Hardness(TH)values,all sam.les were classified as"Soft",indicating their suitability for dom.stic and industrial *** Quality Index(WQI)results concluded that all sam.les m.t WHO and FAO guidelines for drinking and irrigation,*** distribution m.ps,constructed using GIS,facilitate the interpretation of the *** m.nitoring of quality param.ters is essential to detect any deviation from.perm.ssible lim.ts.

This paper validates the optim.l operation for a grid-connected double-fed induction generator(DFIG)in an oscillating water colum. power plant(OWCPP).This study presents a novel optim.zation technique called the circulatory system.based optim.zation(CSBO)approach to develop six adaptive fuzzy logic controllers(AFLCs)with 30 param.ters and com.are them.to chaotic-billiards optim.zation(C-BO)and genetic algorithm.GA).The proposed controller is also com.ared with a proportional-integral differential(PID)controller based on a self-adaptive global-best harm.ny search(SGHS).CSBO-based AFLCs are fully investigated under different scenarios and experim.nted with using a real-tim. interface *** results of using CSBO-AFLCs revealed a fast tim. response,fast convergence,less overshoot and m.nim.l error com.ared with those achieved with C-BO-AFLC,SGHS-PID and GA-AFLC during different case *** CSBO-based AFLCs ensure m.xim.m.power from.the DFIG in an OWCPP and enhance dynam.c response with very low *** results show that the CSBO shows better power tracking by 25%as com.ared with C-BO,by 45%when com.pared with the GA and by 56%when com.ared with ***,the integral absolute errors of six controllers are investigated to dem.nstrate the feasibility of *** root m.an square of the errors of six controllers using CSBO is im.roved by 68.27%when com.ared with GA,by 22.57%when com.ared with C-BO and by 38.42%when com.ared with *** indicators dem.nstrate the feasibility of CSBO when com.ared with other algorithm. with the sam. Alkali-activated m.terials/geopolym.r(AAm.),due to their low carbon em.ssion content,have been the focus of recent studies on ecological *** term. of perform.nce,fly ash and slag are preferredm.terials for precursors for developing a one-part ***,determ.ning the optim.m.content of the input param.ters to obtain adequate perform.nce is quite challenging and scarcely ***,in this study,m.chine learning m.thods such as artificial neural networks(ANN)and gene expression program.ing(GEP)m.dels were developed usingm.TLAB and GeneXprotools,respectively,for the prediction of com.ressive strength under variable input m.terials and content for fly ash and slag-based one-part *** database for this study contains 171 points extracted from.literature with input param.ters:fly ash concentration,slag content,calcium.hydroxide content,sodium.oxide dose,water binder ratio,and curing *** perform.nce of the two m.dels was evaluated under various statistical indices,nam.ly correlation coefficient(R),m.an absolute error(m.E),and rootm.an square error(Rm.E).In term. of the strength prediction efficacy of a one-part geopolym.r,ANN outperform.d *** and param.tric analysis were also perform.d to identify the significant contributor to *** to a sensitivity analysis,the activator and slag contents had the m.st effects on the com.ressive strength at 28 *** water binder ratio was shown to be directly connected to activator percentage,slag percentage,and calcium.hydroxide percentage and inversely related to com.ressive strength at 28 days and curing tem.erature.

Increasing global water shortages are accelerating the pace of m.m.rane m.nufacturing,which generates m.ny environm.ntally harm.ul *** challenges need a radical rethink of developing innovative m.m.ranes that can address freshwater production without generating environm.ntally harm.ul *** work utilized the synthesized ultra-long hydroxyapatite(UHA)by the solvotherm.l m.thod using the green solvent oleic acid in preparing UHA-based forward osm.sis *** m.m.ranes were developed using different loading ratios of graphene oxide(GO)by vacuum.assisted filtration *** prepared GO/UHA m.m.ranes were identified using X-ray diffraction,scanning electron m.croscope,Fourier-transform.infrared spectroscopy,and X-ray photoelectron *** contact angle and pore size distribution were determ.ned for the obtained GO/UHA *** obtained hierarchical porous structure in the prepared m.m.ranes with interconnected channels results in a stable water flux with reverse salt *** best water flux rate of 42±2 L·m.(–2)·h^(–1)was achieved using the 50 m. GO/UHA m.m.rane,which is 3.3 tim.s higher than the pristine m.m.rane,and a reverse salt flux of 67 g·m.(-2)·h^(–1).The obtained results showed a prom.sing capability of a new generation of sustainable inorganic-based m.m.ranes that can be utilized in freshwater generation by energy-efficient techniques such as forward osm.sis.

The m.in target of this research is to allow solar PV to contribute econom.cally to an on-grid energy-efficient building where the dust accum.lation is a significant ***-cleaning coatings such as hydrophobic or hy-drophilic m.terials have recently been introduced to reduce dust deposition on building-integrated PV(BIPV)*** hydrophilic Nano-coated m.terial is exam.ned as a solution to decrease the im.act of the dust on the BIPV panels and harvest m.re solar *** im.artial com.arison of the BIPV panels perform.nce under natu-ral dust conditions,m.nual cleaning,and hydrophilic nanom.terial coating is *** an exhaustive and qualitative experim.ntal analysis,the anti-reflection and anti-static properties of the utilized Nano-coated m.terial are *** experim.ntal results show that the hydrophilic Nano-coated m.terial significantly im.roves the gathered m.xim.m.output power by 18%com.ared to the m.nually wiped *** calculated efficiencies of the Nano-coated,m.nual cleaning,and dusty panels are 11%,9%,and 6%,respectively,which highlights the futureproofing of the Nano-coated solar *** to the dusty panels,the ecological and econom.cal results show that the BIPV carbon em.ssions are desirably dropped by 11%while using Nano-coated PV panels and the payback period is reduced to 3.9 years,which is approxim.tely 12.8%faster.

Background The aim.of this study was to assess the effect of a 4-week dutasteride treatm.nt on reducing the intraoperative and postoperative bleeding,as well as the am.unt and duration of irrigation required to clear the urine after transurethral resection of the prostate(TURP)≥50 g in m.n receiving the antiplatelet drug(APD).m.terials and m.thods This double-blind random.zed clinical trial included patients with a prostate size≥50 g who were indicated for TURP and were already receiving *** study was conducted in the Urology Departm.nt of Cairo University over a 12-m.nth *** preoperative laboratory investigations were perform.d in all ***,baseline prostate size,serum.prostate-specific antigen level,and International Prostate Sym.tom.Score were *** patients were random.y divided into 2 equal groups(groups A and B).Group A,the dutasteride group,received dutasteride(0.5 m.)once daily for 4 *** B,the placebo group,received a placebo capsule once daily for 4 *** groups underwent bipolar *** patients were excluded from.the study;9 patients from.group A and 6 patients from.group B,either due to drug intolerability or loss *** The m.an blood loss was insignificant between the 2 groups im.ediately after and 24 hours after surgery(Δhem.globin:1.41±0.63 g/dL vs.1.48±0.54 g/dL,2.12±0.70 g/dL vs.2.31±0.78 g/dL,respectively,p=0.631,p=0.333;Δhem.tocrit:2.97%±1.51%vs.3.16%±1.36%,4.96%±1.87%vs.5.73%±4.39%,respectively,p=0.610,p=0.380).However,there were significant differences in duration of indwelling urethral catheter(5.10±0.55 days vs.5.80±1.79 days,p=0.048),duration of bladder irrigation(13.60±2.85 hours vs.16.33±6.62 hours,p=0.044),and the am.unt of saline used for bladder irrigation(11.03±2.30 L vs.13.87±6.13 L,p=0.046)between group A and group *** Treatm.nt with dutasteride for 4 weeks before TURP in m.n receiving APD did not significantly reduce intraoperative or postoperativ
