The use of unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs) in the collection of data from wireless devices, sensor nodes, and the Internet of Things(IoT) devices has recently received significant attention. In this paper, we investigate the data collection process from a set of smart meters in advanced metering infrastructure(AMI) enabled by UAVs. The objective is to minimize the total annual cost of the electric utility by jointly optimizing the number of UAVs, their power source sizing, the charging locations as well as the data collection trip planning. This is achieved while considering the energy budgets of batteries of UAVs and the required amount of collected data. The problem is formulated as a mixed-integer nonlinear programming(MINLP), which is decoupled into two sub-problems where a candidate UAV and a number of buildings are first grouped into trips via genetic algorithms(GAs), and then the optimum trip path is found using a traveling salesman problem(TSP) branch and bound algorithm. Simulation results show that the battery capacity or the number of UAVs increases as the coverage area or the density increases.

目前,神经网络和深度学习的理论与方法广泛应用于计算机视觉和目标检测的研究,其研究成果已广泛用于自动驾驶、航空出行、安防等领域。传统的目标检测方法依靠绘制在目标上的矩形,通过水平和垂直边界框来确定目标位置。航空图像中的物体方向随机,密集且周围复杂,因此对传统的物体检测模型构成了挑战。传统的矩形框会忽略物体的方向,从而导致物体定位减少,并且在目标密集情况下重叠的框会限制进一步的处理,例如目标的理解和检测。为了克服这些局限性,本文对目标检测方法进行改进,实现更高效,更精确的检测。首先,修改目标检测边界框的定义,包括旋转,高度,宽度和框的中心点,有效的定位目标并减少背景像素的干扰;其次,应用金字塔特征网络学习多层特征生以检测小面积目标;然后,对边界框的常规编码方案进行了修改以适合提出的可旋转边界框,以便更好地估计目标的方向和位置;最后,为了克服负样本和正样本之间的不平衡问题,将难负样挖掘（Hard Negative Mining,HNM）和焦点损失（focal loss,FL）结合起来使用,从而解决正负样本不平衡的问题。通过分析模型在四个数据集上的目标检测结果,并与（Single Shot Detector,SSD）和Faster R-CNN进行比较,表明本文提出的模型超越了传统的边界框模型,尤其是旋转和密集目标。

Objective:To synthesize silver nanoparticles(AgNPs) by green methods using scrum latex of Calotropis procera at 80 ℃ and evaluate them against bacteria,dermatophytes and phytopathogenic fungi comparing with the activity of untreated ***:The synthesis of AgNPs was performed by mixing 3%latex scrum extract with the same volume of silver nitrate(2 mmol/L) solution in round flask and heating in water bath at80 ℃.Characterization of silver particles were determined using UV-vis spectrophotometer,transmission electron microscopy(TEM),X-ray diffraction and Fourier transform infrared *** antimicrobial activity of the green synthesized AgNPs was determined against bacteria,dermatophytes and phytopathogenic fungi and compared to the crude untreated latex by agar-well diffusion ***:Biosynthesis of latex silver nanoparticles was successfully obtained by green *** formation of AgNPs has been confirmed by UV-vis,TEM microscopy.X-ray diffraction and Fourier transform infrared *** analysis showed that synthesized AgNPs are highly stable spherical shaped particles,well dispersed with a diameter ranged from 4 nm up to 25 nm and an average size of 12.33 *** showed strong antibacterial activity against Gram-negative bacteria(Escherichia coli,Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Serratia sp.) and antifungal activity against Trichophyton rubrum,Candida albicans and Aspergillus ***:It can be concluded that serum latex of Calotropis pmcera was found to display strong potential for the synthesis of AgNPs as antimicrobial agents through rapid reduction of silver ions(Ag^+ to Ag^0).The green synthesized AgNPs were found to show higher antimicrobial efficacy than crude latex.

Ground penetrating radar （GPR） is one of the promising technologies that can be used to detect landmines. Many factors may affect the ability of GPR to detect landmines. Among those factors are： 1） the type of landmine material （metallic or plastic）, 2） conditions of the host soil （soil texture and soil moisture）, and 3） the radar frequency utilized. The impact of these factors on the ability of GPR to detect landmines is investigated by studying their effect on the dielectric permittivity contrast between the landmine and the host soil, as well as on the attenuation of the radar waves. The impact of each factor was theoretically reviewed and modeled using the Matlab and Mathcad software packages. Results of the computer modeling were correlated with GPR data acquired for metallic and plastic landmine types. It was found that the ability of GPR to detect landmines depends to a great extent on the landmine type, water content of the host soil, utilized radar frequency, and soil texture. The landmines are much easier to detect than plastic landmines for any soil conditions and any radar frequency. Increasing the soil＇s moisture content, regardless of soil texture, eases the detection of the plastic landmine and worsens the detection of the metallic mines. Increasing the percentage of clay in the soil causes the same effect as the moisture content. However, higher radar frequency delivers better results for landmine detection as long as the percentage of clay and the moisture content in the soil remains low. The results of this study are expected to help in selecting optimum radar antennae and data acquisition parameters depending on the landmine type and environmental conditions.

Cloud computing has attracted significant interest due to the increasing service demands from organizations offloading computationally intensive tasks to ***,datacenter infrastructure comprises hardware resources that consume high amount of energy and give out carbon emissions at hazardous *** cloud datacenter,Virtual Machines(VMs)need to be allocated on various Physical Machines(PMs)in order to minimize resource wastage and increase energy *** allocation problem is *** finding an exact solution is complicated especially for large-scale *** this con text,this paper proposes an Energy-oriented Flower Pollination Algorithm(E-FPA)for VM allocation in cloud datacenter environments.A system framework for the scheme was developed to enable energy-oriented allocation of various VMs on a *** allocation uses a strategy called Dynamic Switching Probability(DSP).The framework finds a near optimal solution quickly and balances the exploration of the global search and exploitation of the local *** considers a processor,storage,and memory constraints of a PM while prioritizing energy-oriented allocation for a set of *** performed on MultiRecCloudSim utilizing planet workload show that the E-FPA outperforms the Genetic Algorithm for Power-Aware(GAPA)by 21.8%,Order of Exchange Migration(OEM)ant colony system by 21.5%,and First Fit Decreasing(FFD)by 24.9%.Therefore,E-FPA significantly improves datacenter performance and thus,enhances environmental sustainability.

Rice(Oryza sativa)plants acquired excess photosynthates in the form of nonstructural carbohydrates(NSCs)in their stems and *** keen interest in rice NSC,the dynamics of NSC accumulation,translocation and re-accumulation have not yet been well ***1 and AG2 QTLs associated with flooding tolerance through catalyzing starch into soluble sugar in germinating *** we conducted three experiments,greenhouse and field to lay the groundwork for large-scale diversity studies on grain NSC and some agronomic traits under direct-seeded rice(DSR)system,using elite lines incorporating AG1,AG2 and AG1-AG2 QTLs into the popular varieties PSB Rc82 and Ciherang-Sub1 along with the donors Kho Hlan On(AG1)and Ma-Zhan Red(AG2).In germinating seedlings,soluble sugars increased,while starch concentration decreased gradually especially in the tolerant checks and AG1-AG2 introgression lines under flooded *** sugar accumulation in stem started to increase from the vegetative stage and peaked at the panicle initiation stage then gradually decreased towards the maturity *** Sub1-AG lines had higher sugar and starch concentrations at different growth stages than other genotypes in wet season 2016 and dry season *** survival rate was positively correlated with the stem NSC at the early vegetative stage(21 days after sowing),and stem NSC was positively associated with plant height at different growth *** the tested seeding rate,the most suitable seeding rate,4 g/m2 with shallow burial depth(0.5 cm),resulted in better seedling establishment,relatively higher seedling vigor index and higher leaf area index under flooding in DSR *** of AG1-AG2 QTLs had no any negative impact on nonstructural carbohydrate,germination rate,and growth and biomass production.
