Facile formation of hierarchical magnesium silicate hydrate microspheres as an adsorbent for the textile dyes

Hierarchical porous magnesium silicate hydrate (MSH) microspheres composed of sheets are successfully developed under facile conditions using a hard template. The role of hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) on the formation and adsorption behavior was also observed for the methyl orange and methylene blue. The formed MSH possesses a surface area of 453.24 m 2 /g, an average pore size of 6.38 nm, and a pore volume of 0.75 cm 3 /g without CTAB. Based on the role of CTAB and the change in the ratio of Mg/Si, the MSH retained its sphere-like structure with a variation in pore parameters. The formed MSH was used as an adsorbent to remove methylene blue and methyl orange. The pseudo-second-order kinetic and Langmuir Isotherm models are well- fitted, with a 256.4 mg/g removal capacity and 84.2 mg/g for methylene blue and methyl orange, respectively. The modi fied MSH with CTAB played a positive role for the methyl orange and a negative role for the methylene blue regarding removal performance. Effective data communication is a crucial aspect of the Social Internet of Things(SIoT)and continues to be a significant research *** paper proposes a data forwarding algorithm based on Multidimensional Social Relations(MSRR)in SIoT to solve this *** proposed algorithm separates message forwarding into intra-and cross-community forwarding by analyzing interest traits and social connections among *** new metrics are defined:the intensity of node social relationships,node activity,and community *** the community,messages are sent by determining which node is most similar to the sender by weighing the strength of social connections and node *** a node performs cross-community forwarding,the message is forwarded to the most reasonable relay community by measuring the node activity and the connection between *** proposed algorithm was compared to three existing routing algorithms in simulation *** indicate that the proposed algorithmsubstantially improves message delivery efficiency while lessening network overhead and enhancing connectivity and coordination in the SIoT context.

The enhanced power quality provided by multilevel inverters (MLIs) has made them more appropriate for medium- and high-power applications, including photovoltaic systems. Nevertheless, a prevalent limitation involves the necessity for numerous switches and increased voltage stress across these switches, consequently increasing the overall system cost. To address these challenges, a new 17-level asymmetrical MLI with fewer components and low voltage stress is proposed for the photovoltaic system. This innovative MLI configuration has four direct current (DC) sources and 10 switches. Based on the trinary sequence, the proposed topology uses photovoltaics with boost converters and fuzzy logic controllers as its DC sources. Mathematical equations are used to calculate crucial parameters for this proposed design, including total standing voltage per unit (TSVPU), cost function per level (CF/L), component count per level (CC/L) and voltage stress across the switches. The comparison is conducted by considering switches, DC sources, TSVPU, CF/L, gate driver circuits and CC/L with other existing MLI topologies. The analysis is carried out under various conditions, encompassing different levels of irradiance, variable loads and modulation indices. To reduce the total harmonic distortion of the suggested topology, the phase opposition disposition approach has been incorporated. The suggested framework is simulated in MATLAB (R)/Simulink (R). The results indicate that the proposed topology achieves a well-distributed stress profile across the switches and has CC/L of 1.23, TSVPU of 5 and CF/L of 4.58 and 5.76 with weight coefficients of 0.5 and 1.5, respectively. These values are notably superior to those of existing MLI topologies. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed topology maintains a consistent output at varying irradiance levels with FLCs and exhibits robust performance under variable loads and diverse modulation indices. In this editorial,we respond to a review article by Nabi et al,in which the authors discussed gastroesophageal reflux(GER)following peroral endoscopic myotomy(POEM).POEM is presently the primary therapeutic option for achalasia,which is both safe and effective.A few adverse effects were documented after POEM,including *** diagnostic criteria were not clear enough because approximately 60%of patients have a long acid exposure time,while only 10%experience reflux *** predictors of high disease incidence have been identified,including old age,female sex,obesity,and a baseline lower esophageal sphincter pressure of less than 45 *** technical steps during the procedure,such as a lengthy or full-thickness myotomy,may further enhance the *** pump inhibitors are currently the first line of *** voices are increasingly advocating for the routine combining of POEM with an endoscopic fundoplication method,such as peroral endoscopic fundoplication or transoral incisionless ***,more research is necessary to determine the safety and effectiveness of these procedures in the long term for patients who have undergone them.

The main target of this research is to allow solar PV to contribute economically to an on-grid energy-efficient building where the dust accumulation is a significant ***-cleaning coatings such as hydrophobic or hy-drophilic materials have recently been introduced to reduce dust deposition on building-integrated PV(BIPV)*** hydrophilic Nano-coated material is examined as a solution to decrease the impact of the dust on the BIPV panels and harvest more solar *** impartial comparison of the BIPV panels performance under natu-ral dust conditions,manual cleaning,and hydrophilic nanomaterial coating is *** an exhaustive and qualitative experimental analysis,the anti-reflection and anti-static properties of the utilized Nano-coated material are *** experimental results show that the hydrophilic Nano-coated material significantly improves the gathered maximum output power by 18%compared to the manually wiped *** calculated efficiencies of the Nano-coated,manual cleaning,and dusty panels are 11%,9%,and 6%,respectively,which highlights the futureproofing of the Nano-coated solar *** to the dusty panels,the ecological and economical results show that the BIPV carbon emissions are desirably dropped by 11%while using Nano-coated PV panels and the payback period is reduced to 3.9 years,which is approximately 12.8%faster.

Recently,the experimental measurements of the branching ratios and different polarization asymmetries for processes occurring through flavor-changing-charged current(b→cτν¯_(τ))transitions by BABAR,Belle,and LHCb have revealed some significant differences from the corresponding Standard Model(SM)*** has triggered an interest to search for physics beyond the SM in the context of various new physics(NP)models and using the model-independent weak effective Hamiltonian(WEH).Assuming left-handed neutrinos,we add the dimension-six vector,(pseudo-)scalar,and tensor operators with complex Wilson coefficients(WCs)to the SM *** 60%,30%,and 10%constraints resulting from the branching ratio of B_(c)→τν¯_(τ),we reassess the parametric space of these new physics WCs accommodating the current anomalies based on the most recent HFLAV data of R_(τ/μ,e)(D)and R_(τ/μ,e)(D^(*))and Belle data of F_(L)(D^(*))and P_(τ)(D^(*)).We find that the allowed parametric region of left-handed scalar couplings strongly depends on the constraints of the B_(c)→τν¯_(τ)branching ratio,and the maximum pull from the SM predictions results from the<60%branching ratio ***,the parametric region changes significantly if we extend the analysis by adding LHCb data of R_(τ/μ)(J/ψ)and R_(τ/ℓ)(Λ_(c)).Furthermore,due to the large uncertainties in the measurements of R_(τ/μ)(J/ψ)and R_(τ/ℓ)(X_(c)),we derive the sum rules which complement them with R_(τ/μ,e)(D)and R_(τ/μ,e)(D^(*)).Using the best-fit points of the new complex WCs along with the latest measurements of R_(τ/μ,e)(D(^(*))),we predict the numerical values of the observable R_(τ/ℓ)(Λ_(c)),R_(τ/μ)(J/ψ),and R_(τ/ℓ)(X_(c))from the sum *** simultaneous dependence of abovementioned physical observables on the NP WCs is established by plotting their correlation with R_(D) and R_(D^(*)),which are useful to discriminate between various NP *** find that the most significant impact of NP results from the WC C^(S)_(L)=4C^(T).Fi

Background: Anemia is reported by many studies as an important risk factor for poor locoregional disease control and survival in head and neck carcinoma. We aimed to study the frequency and prognostic effect of low hemoglobin (Hb) level in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) before radiotherapy (RT) and/or chemoradiotherapy (CRT). Material and Methods: We retrospectively studied the charts of 86 patients diagnosed with laryngeal and hypopharyngeal SCC in a university hospital in Cairo, Egypt. Based on the World Health Organization (WHO), anemia was diagnosed in males at Hb levels 13 g/dl in 44/75 (58.7%). Tumor sites were larynx in 77 (89.5%) and hypopharynx in 9 (10.5%) patients. Disease stage 3, 4 was common in 59/86 (68.6%) patients. Thirty-six (41.8%) patients had surgery. 13/86 (15.1%) patients received induction chemotherapy, while 31/86 (36.0%) had concomitant chemoradiotherapy. Radiotherapy was given in 65/86 (75.58%) patients. The mean RT dose was 66 Gy. Non-anemic patients had significant higher inci-dence of complete response (CR) to treatment (p = 0.034). 25.8% of male pa-tients with Hb 13 g/dl (p = 0.403). Female patients whether anemic or non-anemic had no recurrence (p = 0.036 and p = 0.403 respectively). The median duration of DFS and OS was 6.52 and 9.33 months respectively.
