Reaction of N,N’-dimethylformamide dimethyl acetal (DMFDMA) with malononitrile dimer 8 (1:1) mole afforded 9 while, this reaction when carried out in (2:1) mole to give amidine 11 which can be used for the preparation of pyrimidine 13, amidine 14 and pyridine 19 when reacted with 4-nitroaniline, 4-methylaniline and alkoxide respectively. Malononitrile dimer reacted with diaz.nium chloride to give pyridaz.ne 21, which can be reacted with DMFDMA, AcOH/HCl and cyanoacetamide to give pyridaz.ne 22, 23 and pyrido[4,3-c] pyridaz.ne 24 respectively. The latter reacted with DMFDMA to afford tricyclic compound 25.

Objective:To evaluate the combination therapy of pyronaridine tetraphosphate and diminaz.ne aceturate against Babesia in vitro and in ***:Bioinformatic analysis was performed using atom pair *** in vitro combination test was performed against Babesia bovis and Theileria ***,the in vivo chemotherapeutic efficacy of pyronaridine tetraphosphate in combination with diminaz.ne aceturate was investigated against the growth of Babesia microti in mice using a fluorescence inhibitory ***:Pyronaridine tetraphosphate and diminaz.ne aceturate exhibited nearly similar molecular *** in vitro combination of pyronaridine tetraphosphate and diminaz.ne aceturate was synergistic on Babesia bovis and additive on Theileria *** addition,5 mg/kg pyronaridine tetraphosphate combined with 10 mg/kg diminaz.ne aceturate inhibited Babesia microti growth significantly compared with those observed after treatment with 25 mg/kg diminaz.ne aceturate alone from day 6 post treatment to day 12 post *** combination therapy also normaliz.d the hematological parameters of infected ***:An oral dose of pyronaridine tetraphosphate combined with a subcutaneous dose of diminaz.ne aceturate inhibits Babesia in vitro and in mice,suggesting it might be a new paradigm for the treatment of babesiosis.

Egyptian species of the leafhopper genus Exitianus Ball,1929,***(St?l,1855),***(Distant,1908),and *** Ross,1968 are ***,morphological descriptions,and a key for their identification are *** this study,we used molecular techniques to confirm morphological identification and detect phylogeny among the three Exitianus *** partial nucleotide sequences of the amplified products obtained were determined by Macrogen *** nucleotide sequences of 28S rDNA and COX genes of the EGY-ARC-9,EGY-ARC-4,and EGY-ARC-5 were determined by Macrogen Korea,blasted into BLAST at the National Center for Biotechnology Information website(NCBI)and compared with those deposited in the GenBank DNA *** results represented the homology percentage between the partial sequences of the 28S rRNA and COX genes from each species and related species obtained from GenBank DNA *** morphological identifications of the three Exitianus species were confirmed by molecular characteriz.tion and sequencing of 28S rDNA and COX genes and identified as ***,***,and ***,their sequences of 28srDNA and COX genes were deposited in GenBank with an accession number(LC670610,LC670607,and OQ196105)for 28srDNA gene and(LC775357,LC775358,and LC775359)for the COX gene.

Garden pea productivity and qualities are hampered in z.nc(z.),boron(B),and molybdenum(Mo)deficient ***,the combination of micronutrients(i.e.,z.,B,and Mo)and rhiz.bium is necessary to increase the productivity and quality of garden peas,since this management for garden peas is neglected in ***,the present study was made to assess the effectiveness of rhiz.bium inoculant singly or in combination with the micronutrients(i.e.,z.,B,and Mo)on growth,yield,nutrient uptake,and quality of garden *** were:T_(1)=Control,T_(2)=Rhiz.bium inoculation at 50 g/kg seed,T_(3)=T_(2)+z._(3)Mo1,T_(4)=T_(2)+B_(2)Mo1,T_(5)=T_(2)+z._(3)B_(2),T_(6)=T_(2)+z._(3)B_(2)Mo1 and T_(7)=z._(3)B_(2)*** treatments were arranged in a randomiz.d complete block design and repeated all treatments in three *** application of 3 kg z.,2 kg B,and 1 kg Mo ha^(−1)with inoculation of Rhiz.bium at 50 g kg^(−1)seed(T_(6))facilitated to increase of 44.8%in the green pod and 29.7%seed yield over *** same treatment contributed to attaining the maximum nodulation(25.3 plant^(−1)),Vitamin C(43.5 mg 100 g^(−1)),protein content(22.2%),and nutrient uptake as well as accumulation in garden *** all treatment combinations,treatment T_(6)was found superior to others based on microbial activities,soil fertility,and *** results of the study found that the application of 3 kg z.,2 kg B,and 1 kg Mo ha^(−1)in combination with Rhiz.bium inoculation(50 g kg^(−1)seed)can improve the yield and quality of garden *** results of the study have the potential for the areas,where there is no use of Rhiz.bium inoculant or z.,B,and Mo fertiliz.r for cultivation of garden pea.

Rituximab is a monoclonal antibody that targets CD20, which is a specific B-cell surface antigen. It was the first monoclonal antibody that was approved for the treatment of non-Hodgkin lymphoma, rheumatoid arthritis, and other cutaneous lymphoid malignancies. There are many off-label uses of rituximab, such as systemic lupus erythematosus, autoimmune hemolytic anemia, multiple sclerosis, graft-versus-host disease, chronic lymphocytic leukemia, and chronic immune-mediated thrombocytopenia. Among the rare side effects associated with rituximab treatment is vasculitis, more specifically, leukocytoclastic vasculitis. Here, we describe a 21-year-old Saudi female with leukocytoclastic vasculitis occurring three months after treatment with rituximab.

Increasing global water shortages are accelerating the pace of membrane manufacturing,which generates many environmentally harmful *** challenges need a radical rethink of developing innovative membranes that can address freshwater production without generating environmentally harmful *** work utiliz.d the synthesiz.d ultra-long hydroxyapatite(UHA)by the solvothermal method using the green solvent oleic acid in preparing UHA-based forward osmosis *** membranes were developed using different loading ratios of graphene oxide(GO)by vacuum-assisted filtration *** prepared GO/UHA membranes were identified using X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscope,Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy,and X-ray photoelectron *** contact angle and pore siz. distribution were determined for the obtained GO/UHA *** obtained hierarchical porous structure in the prepared membranes with interconnected channels results in a stable water flux with reverse salt *** best water flux rate of 42±2 L·m^(–2)·h^(–1)was achieved using the 50 mg GO/UHA membrane,which is 3.3 times higher than the pristine membrane,and a reverse salt flux of 67 g·m^(-2)·h^(–1).The obtained results showed a promising capability of a new generation of sustainable inorganic-based membranes that can be utiliz.d in freshwater generation by energy-efficient techniques such as forward osmosis.

Experimental validation of double-fed induction generator in oscillating water column using circulatory system-based optimiz.tion

This paper validates the optimal operation for a grid-connected double-fed induction generator (DFIG) in an oscillating water column power plant (OWCPP). This study presents a novel optimiz.tion technique called the circulatory system-based optimiz.tion (CSBO) approach to develop six adaptive fuz.y logic controllers (AFLCs) with 30 parameters and compare them to chaotic-billiards optimiz.tion (C-BO) and genetic algorithm (GA). The proposed controller is also compared with a proportional-integral differential (PID) controller based on a self-adaptive global-best harmony search (SGHS). CSBO-based AFLCs are fully investigated under different scenarios and experimented with using a real-time interface DSP1104. The results of using CSBO-AFLCs revealed a fast time response, fast convergence, less overshoot and minimal error compared with those achieved with C-BO-AFLC, SGHS-PID and GA-AFLC during different case studies. The CSBO-based AFLCs ensure maximum power from the DFIG in an OWCPP and enhance dynamic response with very low errors. The results show that the CSBO shows better power tracking by 25% as compared with C-BO, by 45% when compared with the GA and by 56% when compared with PID. Moreover, the integral absolute errors of six controllers are investigated to demonstrate the feasibility of CSBO-AFLC. The root mean square of the errors of six controllers using CSBO is improved by 68.27% when compared with GA, by 22.57% when compared with C-BO and by 38.42% when compared with PID. These indicators demonstrate the feasibility of CSBO when compared with other algorithms with the same OWCPP. This paper validates the optimal operation of a grid-connected double-fed induction generator in an oscillating water column using a novel optimiz.tion technique called the circulatory system-based optimiz.tion approach. Experiments using a real-time simulator demonstrate the feasibility of the approach when compared with other algorithms. Graphical Abstract
