Vitrifica.ion of imma.ure oocytes.a. the germina. ves.cle (GV) s.a.e is.importa.t to pres.rve fema.e ga.etes. The s.a.da.d formula.for vitrifica.ion s.lutions.ha.0}long been a.deba.e. Herein, we inves.iga.ed the effect of the pres.nce or a.s.nce of treha.os. in vitrifica.ion s.lution on via.ility, in vitro ma.ura.ion (IVM) ra.es. a.d development of vitrified/wa.med imma.ure dromeda.y ca.el oocytes. Cumulus.oocyte complexes.(COCs. obta.ned a. s.a.ghter from the ova.ies.of ma.ure s.e-ca.els.were ra.domly a.loca.ed into three groups.na.ely, control group, oocytes.were directly s.bjected to IVM without vitrifica.ion, vitrifica.ion s.lution 1 (Vs.) group, oocytes.were vitrified in a.s.lution compos.d of 25% ethylene glycol (EG) plus.25% dimethyl s.lfoxide (DMs.) + 0.5 M treha.os.;a.d vitrifica.ion s.lution 2 (Vs.) group, oocytes.were vitrified in a.s.lution compos.d of 25% EG plus.25% DMs.. Vitrifica.ion of COCs.wa.0}conducted by open pulled s.ra.s.(OPs. method. Following vitrifica.ion a.d wa.ming, morphologica.ly via.le oocytes.were ma.ured in vitro for 36 h. COCs.were then fertilized a.d cultured in vitro for 7 da.s. The percenta.e of via.le oocytes.wa.0}s.gnifica.tly higher (P 0.05) in Vs. tha. Vs. group (80.0% vs. 63.3%, res.ectively). Nuclea. ma.ura.ion, clea.a.e (48 h pos.-ins.mina.ion;pi), a.d bla.0}ocys. ra.es.(7 da.s.pi) were s.gnifica.tly higher (P s. tha. in Vs. groups. No s.gnifica.t differences.were obs.rved in oocyte ma.ura.ion a.d development ra.es.between Vs. a.d control groups. In conclus.on, vitrifica.ion of imma.ure dromeda.y ca.el oocytes.in treha.os.-free s.lution (Vs.) wa.0}more a.va.ta.eous.tha. tha. in treha.os. s.pplemented media.s.nce it did not reduce via.ility a.d development.

The s.ectrofluorimetric method wa.0}ba.0}d on direct mea.0}rement of the intrins.c fluores.ence of Ver a. 366 nm a.ter excita.ion a. 299 nm us.ng s.dium la.ryl s.lfa.e （s.s. a.0}micelle enha.cer. The fluores.ence intens.ty plot wa.0}linea. over the concentra.ion ra.ge 1.0-10.0 ***-1. The high s.ns.tivity of the method a.lowed its.s.cces.ful a.plica.ion to the a.a.ys.s.of Ver in s.iked huma. pla.0}a. Two other methods.were developed. They a.e ba.0}d on the oxida.ive coupling rea.- tion of Vet with 3-methyl benzothia.olin-2-one hydra.one （MBTH） hydrochloride in pres.nce of ceric a.monium s.lpha.e in a. a.idic medium. The firs. method depends.on s.ectrophotometric mea.0}rement of the s.a.le green colored oxida.ive coupling product a. 660 nm. The different experimenta. pa.a.eters.a.fecting the rea.tion were optimized. Linea.ity ra.ge is.10.0--100.0 ~tgomL-1. The s.cond method depends.on a.fluores.ence quenching effect of Vet on the fluores.ence of Ce3＋. The difference in fluores.ence intens.ty wa.0}mea.0}red a. 380 nm a.ter excita.ion a. 300 nm. This.method is.a.plica.le over the concentra.ion ra.ges.0.25-2.50 pg-mL-1. The methods.were va.ida.ed a.cording to the ICH guidelines. The a.m of this.s.udy is.to identify the pa.terns.of bra.n injuries.a.0}ocia.ed with ma.illofa.ia. tra.ma.a.d its.outcome.;METHODs.This.des.riptive s.udy (cros.-s.ctiona.) wa.0}ca.ried out a.ong 90 polytra.ma.pa.ients.with ma.illofa.ia. fra.tures.a.tending the Emergency Depa.tment a. s.ez Ca.a. univers.ty Hos.ita. a.d fulfilling our inclus.on a.d exclus.on criteria.;REs.LTs.This.s.udy demons.ra.es.the rela.ion between type of ma.illofa.ia. fra.ture a.d type of tra.ma.ic bra.n injuries.in which the ma.ority of pa.ients.with epidura. hemorrha.e pres.nted with mid fa.e fra.tures.(60%), while the minority of them pres.nted with upper a.d lower fa.e fra.tures.(20% for ea.h of them). The ma.ority of pa.ients.with s.bdura. hemorrha.e were a.0}ocia.ed with mid fa.e fra.tures.(75%), the ma.ority of pa.ients.with bra.n contus.ons.a.0}ocia.ed with mid fa.e fra.tures.(75%), a.d a.l of the pa.ients.pres.nted by pneumocepha.us.were a.0}ocia.ed with mid fa.e fra.tures.(100%).;CONCLUs.ONs.The res.lts.of this.s.udy confirm the va.ue of quick dia.nos.s.a.d ea.ly intervention, which is.funda.enta. to prevent morbidity a.0}well a.0}morta.ity es.ecia.ly with rega.ds.to prevention of tra.ma.ic bra.n injury a.0}even a.s.ort dura.ion of hypoxia.a.d edema.will lea. to s.gnifica.t perma.ent neurologica. deficits.
