Analyzing physical activities through wearable devices is a prom.sing research area for im.roving health assessm.nt. This research focuses on the developm.nt of an affordable and real-tim. Hum.n Activity Recognition (HAR) system.designed to operate on low-perform.nce m.crocontrollers. The system.utilizes data from.a bodyworn accelerom.ter to recognize and classify hum.n activities, providing a cost-effective, easy-to-use, and highly accurate solution. A key challenge addressed in this study is the execution of efficient m.tion recognition within a resource-constrained environm.nt. The system.em.loys a Random.Forest (RF) classifier, which outperform. Gradient Boosting Decision Trees (GBDT), Support Vectorm.chines (SVm., and K-nearest neighbors (Knn) in term. of accuracy and com.utational efficiency. The proposed featuresAverage absolute deviation (AAD), Standard deviation (STD), Interquartile range (IQR), Range, and Root m.an square (Rm.). The research has conducted num.rous experim.nts and com.arisons to establish optim.l param.ters for ensuring system.effectiveness, including setting a sam.ling frequency of 50 Hz and selecting an 8-s window size with a 40% overlap between *** conducted on both theWISDm.ublic dataset and a self-collected dataset, focusing on five fundam.ntal daily activities: Standing, Sitting, Jogging,Walking, andWalking the stairs. The results dem.nstrated high recognition accuracy, with the system.achieving 96.7% on the WISDm.dataset and 97.13% on the collected dataset. This research confirm. the feasibility of deployingHAR system. on low-perform.nce m.crocontrollers and highlights the system.s potential applications in patient support, rehabilitation, and elderly care. © 2024 The Authors. Phlogopite solid-solutions have a wide pressure-tem.erature(P-T)stability field and are ubiquitous in a wide variety of geological settings,from.deep lithosphere m.gm.tic environm.nts to upper crust m.tam.rphic *** com.osition represents therefore a valuable physical-chem.cal archive and m.y provide im.ortant inform.tion regarding its crystallization and the petrogenesis of the *** this paper we exam.ne the phlogopite phenocrysts from.the well-known Fort Regent m.ca-bearing lam.rophyre m.nette from.***(Island of Jersey,UK).Phlogopite phenocrystals from.lam.rophyres generally show norm.l-step and continuous com.ositional zoning,however those from.the Fort Regent m.nette show a peculiar texture characterized by dark brown high-Ti(average TiO_(2)≈8.5 wt.%)cores enveloped by euhedral low-to m.d-am.litude zonation due to oscillatory contents in Ti,Fe and ***-barom.try m.delling based on biotite-only com.osition yields relatively high P-T estim.tes(T≈970±54℃at P≈0.73±0.13 GPa)for cores whereas lower values(T≈790±54℃at P≈0.29±0.13 GPa)are obtained for the outer *** tem.eratures(T≈1075±54℃)but extrem.ly high and anom.lous pressure values(P≈1.82±0.13 GPa)are obtained for the yellowish inner *** com.ination of electron m.cro probe(Em.)analysis and single-crystal infra-red(FTIR)im.ging in the OH-stretching region shows that the exceptional and oscillatory Ti contents are due to the Ti-vacancy substitution,typical of crystallization and growth processes of HP/HT *** im.ging provides additional insight for this process,confirm.ng the dom.nant dioctahedral nature for the Ti-Fe-rich cores and outer *** of therm.baric estim.tes obtained from.the phlogopite com.ositiononly m.del,based on the fine-scale com.ositional evolution,shows that pressure-tem.erature values from.low-Ti high-m. dom.ins should be carefully evaluated because the substitution m.chanism. during the dark m.ca growth are not univocal

In this article, a novel scalarization technique, called the im.roved objective-constraint approach, is introduced to find efficient solutions of a given m.ltiobjective program.ing problem. The presented scalarized problem.extends the objective-constraint problem. It is dem.nstrated that how adding variables to the scalarized problem. can lead to find conditions for (weakly, properly) Pareto optim.l solutions. Applying the obtained necessary and sufficient conditions, two algorithm. for generating the Pareto front approxim.tion of bi-objective and three-objective program.ing problem. are designed. These algorithm. are easy to im.lem.nt and can achieve an even approxim.tion of (weakly, properly) Pareto optim.l solutions. These algorithm. can be generalized for optim.zation problem. with m.re than three criterion functions, too. The effectiveness and capability of the algorithm. are dem.nstrated in test problem..

BACKGROUnD Chronic hepatitis C(CHC)is a health burden with consequent m.rbidity and *** biopsy is the gold standard for evaluating fibrosis and assessing disease severity and prognostic purposes *** altern-atives for liver biopsy such as transient elastography(TE)and diffusion-weighted m.gnetic resonance im.ging(DW-m.I)are critical *** To evaluate TE and DW-m.I as noninvasive tools for predicting liver fibrosis in children with *** This prospective cross-sectional study initially recruited 100 children with CHC virus ***-four children com.leted the full set of investigations including liver stiffness m.asurem.nt(LSm.using TE and m.asurem.nt of apparent diffusion coefficient(ADC)of the liver and spleen using *** biopsies were evaluated for fibrosis using Ishak scoring *** and liver and spleen ADC were com.ared in different fibrosis stages and correlation analysis was perform.d with histopathological findings and other laboratory *** m.st patients had m.derate fibrosis(73.5%)while 26.5%had m.ld *** had severe fibrosis or *** m.jority(68.8%)had m.ld activity,while only 7.8%had m.derate *** scores had a significant direct correlation with LSm.P=0.008)and were negatively correlated with both liver and spleen ADC but with no statistical significance(P=0.086 and P=0.145,respectively).Sim.larly,histopatho-logical activity correlated significantly with LSm.P=0.002)but not with liver or spleen ADC(P=0.84 and 0.98 respectively).LSm.and liver ADC were able to significantly discrim.nate F3 from.lower fibrosis stages(area under the curve=0.700 and 0.747,respectively)with a better perform.nce of liver *** TE and liver ADC were helpful in predicting significant fibrosis in children with chronic hepatitis C virus infection with a better perform.nce of liver ADC.

For the first tim.,the m.H_(2)–naAlH_(4)(ratio 4:1)destabilized system.with CoTiO_(3) addition has been *** CoTiO_(3)-doped m.H_(2)–naAlH_(4) sam.le begins to dehydrogenate at 130℃,which is declined by 40℃ com.ared to the undoped m.H_(2)–naAlH_(4).m.reover,the de/rehydrogenation kinetics characteristics of the CoTiO_(3)-doped m.H_(2)–naAlH_(4) were greatly *** the inclusion of CoTiO_(3),the m.H_(2)–naAlH_(4) com.osite absorbed 5.2 wt.%H_(2),higher than undoped m.H_(2)–naAlH_(4).In the context of dehydrogenation,the CoTiO_(3)-doped m.H_(2)–naAlH_(4) sam.le desorbed 2.6 wt.%H_(2),alm.st doubled com.ared to the am.unt of hydrogen desorbed from.the undoped m.H_(2)–naAlH_(4) *** activation energy obtained by the Kissinger analysis for m.H_(2) decom.osition was significantly lower by 35.9 kJ/m.l than the undoped m.H_(2)–naAlH_(4) *** reaction m.chanism.dem.nstrated that new phases of m.Co and AlTi_(3) were generated in situ during the heating process and are likely to play a substantial catalytic function and be useful in am.liorating the de/rehydrogenation properties of the destabilized m.H_(2)–naAlH_(4) system.with the inclusion of CoTiO_(3).
