Interaction of Escherichia coli heat-labile enterotoxin B-pentamer with exopolysaccharides from Leuconostoc mesenteroides P35:Insights from surface plasmon resonance and molecular docking studies

In this study,the interaction of exopolysaccharides from Leuconostoc mesenteroides P35(EPS-LM)with Escherichia coli heat-labile enterotoxin B-pentamer(LTB)was investigated at different concentrations and temperatures by using surface plasmon resonance(SPR)and molecular docking ***-IR spectral analysis together with HPTLC analysis revealing that glucose is the only constitutive monosaccharide of EPS-LM suggests that its structure is composed of dextran withα-D(1→6)glycosidic *** analysis revealed the high affinity of EPS-LM for immobilized LTB toxin(KA=(2.05±0.04)×106 mol.L−1 at 37°C).The binding process was spontaneous(ΔG0),and entropy-driven(ΔS>0)with an increase of KA with *** suggests that EPS-LM-LTB interaction is dominated by hydrophobic *** binding affinity of EPS-LM to LTB had negligible dependence on enthalpy(ΔH=0.084 kJ mol−1).Further,molecular docking results suggested the presence of some binding sites of EPS-LM on the LTB through hydrophobic forces(Lys,Asp,Arg,Glu)and also hydrogen bonding(Glu)in the hydrophobic core of *** autodock studies,Schiffer-Edmundson helical wheel diagrams of LTB inα-helix domain suggested that LTB hydrophobic core is a highly effective region,which was able to form favorable non-polar interactions of the protein's binding surface(with amino acids residues such as Tyr,Leu,Ile)with *** study provided thus further insights into the interactions between EPS-LM and LTB,suggesting that EPS produced by some LAB,such as EPS produced by *** P35 strain are good candidates to inhibit *** toxin activity.

This report describes the clinical and pathological aspects of an apocrine sweat gland carcinoma with distant metastasis in an aged dog.A 7-year-old male terrier dog was referred to small animal hospital of Shuhid Bahonar University of Kerman with a 5.5×3.5 centimeter pedunculated mass on its head near left auricular region which had been progressively growing since tliree months *** radiography showed no local and distant *** excision and histological evaluation was ***,the mass was composed of epithelial cells arranged in glandular and solid *** morphologic findings suggested either a primary or metastatic apocrine-gland ***,the tumor cells were intensely positive for cytokeratin 7 and 20 and negative for S100 *** the basis of histopathological and clinical findings,the tumor was diagnosed as a malignant apocrine gland tumor,arising from apocrine sweat glands of the *** tumor recurrence with anorexia and weight loss was reported by the owner nine month *** submandibular and prescapular lymphadenomegaly was noted in clinical *** large pulmonary nodules were noted in chest radiographs resembling mediastinal lymph node *** surgery and chemotherapy was rejected by the owner due to grave prognosis of the *** animal was died 45 days later due to respiratory *** of apocrine sweat glands are relatively uncommon in dogs whereas apocrine gland adenocarcinoma with distant metastasis is extremely rare.

This study aimed to investigate the osteo-inductive capacity of a fucoidan polysaccharide network derived from brown algae on human adipose-derived stem cells(HA-MSCs)for bone *** physiochemical properties of the scaffold including surface morphology,surface chemistry,hydrophilicity,mechanical stiffness,and porosity were thoroughly *** in vitro and in vivo measurements implied a superior cell viability,proliferation,adhesion,and osteo-inductive performance of obtained scaffolds compared to using specific osteogenic induction medium with increased irregular growth of calcium crystallites,which mimic the structure of natural *** scaffold was highly biocompatible and suitable for cell *** examinations,such as quantification of mineralization,alkaline phosphatase,gene expression,and immunocytochemical staining of pre-osteocyte and bone markers confirmed that HAD-MSCs differentiate into osteoblasts,even without an osteogenic induction *** study provides evidence for the positive relationship and synergistic effects between the physical properties of the decellularized seaweed scaffold and the chemical composition of fucoidan in promoting the osteogenic differentiation of ***,the natural matrices derived from brown seaweed offers a sustainable,cost-effective,non-toxic bioinspired scaffold and holds promise for future clinical applications in orthopedics.

Determining Attitude and Position in Deep Space Missions Using X Ray Pulsars

This paper initially reviews types of deep space navigation methods. Then, it studies the use of pulsars as one of sources emitting electromagnetic waves in navigation;hence more details regarding the pulsar physics and the history of navigation using pulsars are presented. The various methods of navigation (including radio method), their advantages and disadvantages—in comparison with navigation using pulsars in spacecraft—are discussed. Then, the equations necessary for calculating position and velocity of a spacecraft (such as the arrival time of pulse from pulsar to the receiver) are introduced, and the methods of calculating position and velocity are dealt with. Finally, two algorithms are presented for positioning, and one for velocity. Attitude determination follows the same simple methods presented in various articles.

The objective of this work is to study the effect of obesity on the intervertebral discs and provide system analysis of the spine between multiple configurations of people, and know the risks due to this eccentric load (Big Belly). The results show that in all three previous loadings (obese people), the distributions of stress and strain are high in both D1 and D10 intervertebral discs. This shows that the distance between the point of load application and the spine axis has an important role in solicitation increasing and therefore its deformation: as main conclusion is that the concentration of the mass of stomach fat is a risk factor that leads to pain problems, deformation and herniated disc.

Etiology of Pancytopenia in Tabriz Shahid Ghazi Hospital:A Cross-sectional Study in Iran

Objective:Pancytopenia is characterized by a reduction in all three types of blood cells:erythrocytes,leukocytes,and *** is caused by a wide range of diseases,leading to diagnostic *** causes can range from drug reactions to life-threatening diseases such as aplastic anemia and *** study aims to investigate the causes of pancytopenia,specifically focusing on age and gender differences among ***:This cross-sectional study includes patients of all ages diagnosed with pancytopenia,as indicated by a CBC/H1 showing a WBC count less than 4,000/μL,platelet count less than 150,000/μL,and hemoglobin levels below 12 g/dL in women and less than 13 g/dL in *** study only included patients with pancytopenia who underwent bone marrow examination and were not subjected to chemotherapy or radiation ***:A total of 133 patients with pancytopenia were included in the *** average age was 47.35±17.62 years old,with 66%of the participants being male and 34%being *** leukemia,specifically acute myeloid leukemia(AML)and acute lymphoid leukemia(ALL),was identified as the primary cause of pancytopenia,accounting for 31.5%of *** anemia was the second most common cause,accounting for 30%of cases,followed by aplastic anemia at 7.5%.Conclusion:Pancytopenia,a condition marked by the decrease in both erythrocytes and leukocytes as well as thrombocytes,can arise from a myriad of *** main findings of this study revealed that megaloblastic anemia,acute myeloid leukemia(AML),and acute lymphoid leukemia(ALL)were the most common ***,a considerable proportion of cases of pancytopenia can be attributed to acute ***,expeditious and accurate diagnosis is imperative and has the potential to save lives in such cases.
