Due to a c.mp.ex geologic.l and biotic.history,the Isthmus of Tehuantep.c.IT),has been long rec.gnized as a driver for the evolutionary divergenc. of numerous lowland and highland *** distributed in the lowlands of the Americ.n c.ntinent,the White-Tip.ed Dove(Lep.otila verreauxi)is a p.lytyp.c.sp.c.es with 13 rec.gnized *** of these have been rec.rded in Mexic.,and the distribution of three abuts at the IT,suggesting a c.ntac. *** estimate p.ylogenetic.p.tterns,divergenc. times and genetic.differentiation,we examined two mt DNA(ND2 and c.I)and one n DNA(β-fibint 7)*** also used c.rrelative ec.logic.l nic.e models(ENM)to assess whether ec.logic.l differenc.s ac.oss the IT may have ac.ed as a biogeograp.ic.l *** estimated p.leodistributions during the Middle Holoc.ne,Last Glac.al Maximum and Last Interglac.al,to evaluate the influenc. of c.imate c.anges on the distribution and demograp.ic.*** results showed genetic.lly distinc. lineages that diverged ap.roximately 2.5 million years *** and ec.logic.l fac.ors may have p.ayed a dual role in p.omoting differentiation,but also in the formation of a sec.ndary c.ntac. zone in the southern *** ec.logic.l nic.e c.mp.risons indic.ted that the ec.logic.l nic.e of symp.tric.lineages at the IT are not identic.l,suggesting nic.es divergenc.;in addition,environmental nic.e models ac.oss the region indic.ted no abrup. biogeograp.ic.barriers,but the p.esenc. of regions with low *** results suggest that genetic.differentiation originated by a vic.riant event p.obably related to environmental fac.ors,favored the evolution of different ec.logic.l ***,the absenc. of a biogeograp.ic.barrier but the p.esenc. of less suitable areas in the c.ntac. regions,suggest that sec.ndary c.ntac. zones may be also maintained by c.imatic.fac.ors for the eastern group.but also by biotic.interac.ions for the western group.

We c.nsider a system modeled by a harmonic.osc.llator of frequenc. , c.up.ed to the sc.lar p.tential inside a reflec.ing sp.ere of radius R. We use dressed states introduc.d originally in [1] and rec.ntly emp.oyed in [2] to p.esent a non-p.rturbative unified desc.ip.ion of the dec.y p.oc.ss of the system, in free sp.c. and in the c.se of the system being c.nfined in a finite c.vity. In the situation that we start from the initial c.ndition that the system is in the first exc.ted state, we give exac. formulas to desc.ibe its time evolution for a c.vity of arbitrary size. In the p.rtic.lar c.se of a very large c.vity (free sp.c.), we rec.ver the behaviour exp.c.ed from p.rturbation theory in the limit of the small c.up.ing c.nstant. In the c.se of a very small c.vity, our results are in good agreement with exp.rimental observations

Dallisgrass (p.sp.lum dilatatum) is well adap.ed to the Blac. Belt region of the southeastern US, and information on its p.oduc.ivity and nutritive quality as influenc.d by fertility is needed. In eac. yr of a 2-yr study, an existing dallisgrass p.sture that had been subdivided into 48 p.ots of 9.3 m2 eac. was fertilized with the equivalent of 34 (34N), 67 (67N), 101 (101N) or 134 (134N) kg N/ha from p.ultry litter (p.) or c.mmerc.al fertilizer (c.;NH4NO3). In both years, p.imary-growth and vegetative regrowth forage was harvested in mid-August and late Sep.ember, resp.c.ively, and forage from eac. harvest was c.ip.ed to either a 5- or 10-c. stubble height. Forage c.t to a 5-c. height yielded 71% more (p.c.t to a 10-c. height, but forage dry matter (DM) yields were not different between c. and p. treatments ac.oss years and fertilization rates. c.nc.ntration of c.ude p.otein (c.0} was greater (p.= 0.002) for c. than p. forage and inc.eased for both fertilizer sourc.s with inc.easing rates of N ap.lic.tion. Forage c.nc.ntrations of c.ll-wall c.nstituents were not different between c. and p. treatments. Forage amended with c. had a higher c.nc.ntration of c., Mg and Mn than p.-amended forage;however, forage amended with p. had a higher c.nc.ntration of p.and K than c.-amended forage. There was no effec. of fertilizer sourc. on forage c.nc.ntration of Al, c. or Zn. Results indic.te that p. and c. were c.mp.rable for sup.orting p.oduc.ivity and nutritive quality of dallisgrass on Blac. Belt soils.

AIM:To test a strategy for endosc.p.c.submuc.sal dissec.ion(ESD) training in animal models designed to overc.me the initial learning ***:ESD was attemp.ed in ex vivo and in vivo p.g *** ESD p.oc.dures were attemp.ed in the esop.agus(n=9) or the stomac.(n=21).The ex vivo model was used until initial c.mp.tenc. was *** the in vivo model,several ESD p.oc.dures were p.rformed in up.to 3 *** following variables were analyzed:sp.c.men size,c.mp.ete and en bloc.resec.ion rate,time for c.rc.mferential inc.sion,time for submuc.sal dissec.ion,total ESD duration,and ***:c.mp.ete resec.ion was ac.ieved in 28 c.ses(en bloc.27);2 c.uld not be c.mp.eted(one p.rforation,one tec.nic.l diff ic.lty).The mean ± SD time for c.rc.mferential inc.sion was 36.2±16.8 min(range:8-87 min),and the mean±SD time for submuc.sal dissec.ion was 45.1±35.7 min(range:9-196 min).The mean±SD size of the resec.ed sp.c.mens was 45.2±17.8 *** mean±SD total resec.ion time was signif ic.ntly inc.eased for the gastric.c.ses p.rformed in the f irst half of the study(n=13) than in the sec.nd half(n=8)(98.9±62.4 min vs 61.7±17.6 min,p.0.04),although the sp.c.men size did not ***:Training in animal models c.uld help.endosc.p.sts overc.me the learning c.rve before starting ESD in humans.

Bec.use of the direc. relationship.between reac.ion rate and c.nc.ntration of sulp.onic.ac.d sites of Nafion c.talysts, it is inferred that the ac.ive p.ase enahnc.s the kinetic. of p.op.ne c.nversion by p.omoting the rate of ac.ive radic.ls generation.
