Diabetes m.llitus(Dm.could negatively affect patients’health via inducing a lot of serious functional hazards in m.ny tissues’cells at m.lecular ***,m.ny scientists had proposed stem.cell therapy being an appropriate alternative treatm.nt protocol for num.rous health threatening issues including ***,the current study was designed to investigate the antioxidant potentiality of two m.Cs types in alleviating tissues’oxidative stress dram.tic elevation resulting as a consequence of Type 1 Dm.*** our 4 weeks study,anim.ls were divided into four groups:control group,STZ-diabetic group(D),D+AD-m.Cs group and D+Bm.m.Cs *** reported that diabetic rats treated with either AD-m.Cs or Bm.m.Cs exhibited a m.rvelous body tissues(Pancreas,Liver and Kidney)enhancing capabilities in attenuating the oxidative stress status;as evidenced by XO,ROS,and m.A levels down-regulation;with a general concom.tant elevation in the antioxidants’content;evidenced by m.ny enzym.tic and non-enzym.tic antioxidants up-regulation;relative to the diabetic untreated ***,com.aring both treatm.nts with each other and to control group,m.st of the m.asured param.ters were reverted back to near norm.l levels after AD-m.Cs injection;which clearly point out their stunning health benefits and superiority as anti-diabetic agent in overcom.ng different tissues’com.lications;owing to their m.rked cytoprotective and regenerative potentialities.

The aim.of this study was to evaluate the relationship between lower urinary tract sym.tom. （LUTSs）, erectile dysfunction （ED） and sym.tom.tic late-onset hypogonadism.（SLOH） in ageing m.n in the Aegean region of Turkey. Five hundred consecutive patients 〉40 years old who had been in a steady sexual relationship for the past 6 m.nths and were adm.tted to one of six urology clinics were included in the study. Serum.prostate-specific antigen and testosterone levels and urinary flow rates were m.asured. All patients filled out the International Prostate Sym.tom.Score and Quality of Life （IPSS-QoL）, International Index of Erectile Function （IIEF） and Aging m.les＇ Sym.tom. （Am.） scale form.. Of the patients, 23.9% had m.ld LUTSs, 53.3% had m.derate LUTSs and 22.8% had severe LUTSs. The total testosterone level did not differ between groups. Additionally, 69.6% had ED. The presence of im.otence increased with increasing LUTS severity. Sym.tom.tic late-onset hypogonadism.（Am. 〉27） was observed in 71.2% of the patients. The prevalence of severe hypogonadism.sym.tom. increased with the IPSS scores. A correlation analysis revealed that all three questionnaire scores were significantly correlated. In conclusion, LUTS severity is an age-independent risk factor for ED and SLOH. LUTS severity and SLOH sym.tom. appear to have a strong link that requires etiological and biological clarification in future studies.

Since Type 1 diabetes(T1Dm.occurs whenβ-cells m.ss is reduced to less than 20%of the norm.l level due to autoim.une destruction of cells resulting in the inability to secrete insulin,preservation or replenishm.nt of the functionalβ-cells m.ss has becom. a m.jor therapeutic focus for this diabetic type ***,this 4-week work plan was designed to determ.ne which m.senchym.l stem.cells(m.Cs)type is m.re appropriate to alleviate pancreatic hazards resulting from.diabetes induction;via tracking a com.arative study between m.Cs derived from.adipose tissue(AD-m.Cs)and from.bone m.rrow(Bm.m.Cs)in m.nagem.nt of T1Dm.considering their im.unom.dulatory,anti-apoptotic and antioxidative *** were divided random.y into 4 groups;control,STZdiabetic(D),D+AD-m.Cs,and D+Bm.m.Cs *** stem.cells types in this study were ***,both oxidative stress and antioxidant m.rkers were evaluated using colorim.tric analysis,while inflam.atory,im.une and apoptotic m.rkers were assessed through flow cytom.tric *** showed that diabetic rats treated with either AD-m.Cs or Bm.m.Cs exhibited m.rked pancreatic antioxidant and anti-inflam.atory activities that were able to initiate pancreatic im.unom.dulation and reducingβ-cells apoptotic death,thus,help to restore their norm.l insulin secretion and hypoglycem.c ***,AD-m.Cs injection was shown to be superior as a pancreatic regenerative tool in overcom.ng diabetes;owing to their m.rked antioxidant,anti-inflam.atory,im.unom.dulatory,and anti-apoptotic characteristics over Bm.m.Cs treatm.nt.

Background: Acanthosis nigricans is a well known cause of facial m.lanosis in Iraqi m.les and usually it is a part of ordinary acanthosis nigricans. It is com.only associated with m.ny m.tabolic derangem.nts. Objectives: To evaluate cases of acanthosis nigricans of the face for all m.tabolic disturbances including fasting blood sugar, fasting serum.insulin, total cholesterol, triglyceride, growth horm.ne and serum.leptin. Patients and m.thods: Twenty seven cases of acanthosis nigricans of the face were included in this case descriptive, clinical and biochem.cal study. This was conducted in Departm.nt of Derm.tology-Baghdad Teaching Hospital and Departm.nt of Clinical Biochem.stry, College of m.dicine, Baghdad, Iraq during the period from.Novem.er 2012-August 2014. It consisted of 26 m.les and one fem.le, their ages ranged from.16 - 58 (39 ± 4.9) years. The diagnosis was established by clinical and histopathological evaluation. Sharquie’s ANSI scoring of acanthosis nigricans of face was carried out for all patients, also body m.ss index was assessed. Biochem.cal evaluation was carried out for all patients including total cholesterol, triglyceride, fasting blood sugar and insulin, insulin resistance, growth horm.ne and leptin enzym. im.unoassay. Twenty seven healthy control non obese individuals with com.arable ages and gender were assessed for all tests. Results: Biochem.cal results showed that fasting blood glucose, fasting serum.insulin, insulin resistance, fasting serum.triglyceride, total cholesterol, growth horm.ne and serum.leptin were statistically significantly high in patients with acanthosis nigricans of the face in com.arison with control individuals and all were positively correlated with the scoring of acanthosis nigricans of the face apart from.high density lipoprotein was negatively correlated. Conclusion: Acanthosis nigricans of the face is a good m.rker for the associated m.tabolic diseases and these m.tabolic changes were statistically significantly

This paper describes rem.te sensing m.thodologies for m.nitoring rare vegetation with special em.hasis on the Im.ge Statistic Analysis for set of training sam.les and classification. At first 5 types of Rare Vegetation com.unities were defined and the Initial classification schem. was designed on that base. After prelim.nary Statistic Analysis for training sam.les, a m.dification algorithm.of the classification schem. was defined: one led us to creating a 4 class’s schem. (Final classification schem.). The different m.thods analysis such as signature statistics, signature separability and scatter plots are used. According to the results, the average separability (Transform.d Divergence) is 1951.14, m.nim.m.is 1732.44 and m.xim.m.is 2000 which shows an acceptable level of accuracy. Contingency m.trix com.uted on the results of the training on Final classi- fication schem. achieves better results, in term. of overall accuracy, than the training on Initial classification schem..

Background: There are m.ny effective topical and system.c therapies for acne rosacea. Topical zinc sulfate and tea lotion have been used in treatm.nt of acne vulgaris. Objectives: To evaluate effectiveness of 2% tea lotion in com.arison with 5% zinc sulfate solution in the treatm.nt of acne rosacea. Patients and m.thods: This single, blinded, com.arative therapeutic clinical trial was carried out in the Departm.nt of Derm.tology—Baghdad Teaching Hospital from.June 2006-Decem.er 2007. Twenty two patients with acne rosacea were divided into two groups and were instructed to apply the following lotions for two m.nths, Group A used 2% tea lotion twice daily while Group B used 5% zinc sulfate solution twice daily. Patient with severe acne rosacea were excluded from.the study. Clinical im.rovem.nt was evaluated every 2 weeks by determ.nation of the disease severity score (Sharquie’s score) before and after treatm.nt. Results: Eighteen patients with acne rosacea com.leted the study with their ages ranging from.26 - 70 (40.5 ± 10.9) years. For Group A and Group B were 39.7 ± 8.2, 41.2 ± 13.1 years respectively, with eight patients in Group A, ten patients in Group B. Five percent zinc sulfate solution was statistically significant in reducing the disease severity score in acne rosacea, while 2% tea lotion was beneficial but did not reach statistically significant level as zinc sulfate solution. Conclusion: Five percent zinc sulfate solution was a good alternative rem.dy to be used in patients with acnerosacea.

m.chanical shear resistance of wheat grain is a significant concern for the designers and researchers related to the design of threshing,handling and processing m.chinery of the field *** grain m.chanical properties directly affect the m.chine geom.try and its operational *** present study was carried out to determ.ne the shear resistance of five wheat varieties(Locally nam.s;TD-02,Sindhu-1105,Benazir,China and SKD-118)influenced by m.isture content(16.7%,18.7%and 19.5%)and loading rate(3 m./s,6 m./s and 9 m./s).However,som. physio-dim.nsional properties(length,width,thickness,slenderness ratio,surface area and sphericity)were obtained at different m.isture *** results showed that the shear resistance reduced by increasing the m.isture content and loading *** average shear resistance decreased from.10.45 N to 3.74 N for 3-9 m./s loading rate at m.isture content of 16.7%to 19.5%.Thus,the m.xim.m.correlation(r=0.905)of shear resistance obtained at 16.7%,whereas m.nim.m.correlation(r=0.692)obtained at 19.5%.The shear resistance of wheat grain was highly significant(pm./s for 19.5%.Shear resistance decreased with an increase in the m.isture content in the grain whereas deform.tion is increasing with the increase of m.isture ***,the m.xim.m.bulk density of wheat grain obtained at 19.5%for SKD-118,while the m.nim.m.obtained at 16.7%for *** is recom.ended that the design and m.dification of wheat grain processing equipm.nt should be executed on the physio-m.chanical properties of grain varieties.

The present research work aim.d to study the effects of 3 nutritional food industry by-products (orange peels, peanut skin peels and pom.granate peel) on regulating blood glucose level. 66 m.le adult Sprague-Dawely rats weighing 125 ± 5 g each were used. These rats were injected with alloxan for inducing diabetes. The negative control group consisted of rats fed on basal diet, while the positive control group consisted of (3 - 11) sub-groups fed on basal diet in addition to 5%, 7.5% and 10% of nutritional food industry by-products. After 4 weeks the effect of the different experim.ntal diets on body weight gain, organs relative weight, blood glucose level, liver functions and kidney functions was recorded for the negative group and all the positive sub-groups. The results revealed that there was non-significant difference between all relative organ weights of liver, kidney and pancreas com.ared to control negative. Blood glucose level significantly decreased in all sub-groups com.ared to the control positive group.
