Involvement of Quebracho tannins in diet alters productive and reproductive efficiency of postpartum buffalo cows

This study was conducted to investigate the effects of 10 weeks supplementation of Quebracho tannins(QT; 0 [control], 100 [QT100] or 200 g/[cow$d] [QT_(200)]) to 30 multiparous postpartum buffalo cows(10 cows per group) on milk yield and composition, blood metabolites and reproductive *** of QT100 had no significant effect on milk yield, whereas QT_(200) decreased(P mpared with the control group, both QT levels decreased(P milk(FCm)yield, but no significant effects were found on percentages of milk fat and protein. Contrariwise, yields of milk fat, lactose and milk protein were decreased(P n QT_(200) was supplemented. The solids nonfat(SnF) percentage and yield were decreased(P mentation. moreover, QT tended to numerically reduce total number of ovarian follicles, number of small follicles, peripheral progesterone concentration and conception rate. Supplementation of QT_(200) numerically increased number of large follicles, mean diameter of large follicle, number and diameters of corpora lutea. The inclusion of QT_(200) shortened days open(DO) and decreased number of services per ***, QT did not show significant effects on serum total protein, albumin, globulin, glucose,cholesterol and triglycerides concentrations. Supplementation of QT100 caused an increase(P m urea compared with that in control and QT_(200) groups. Generally, QT decreased(P m creatinine concentration. Therefore, the supplementation of a commercial QT to early lactating Egyptian buffalo cows displayed negative consequences on their productive and reproductive performances.

The discoveries of binary asteroids have opened an important new field of research concerning the calculation of potential generated by irregular *** of them have an elongated shape.A simple model to describe the motion of a test particle in that kind of potential requires consideration of a finite homogeneous straight *** construct this model by adding an inhomogeneous distribution of mass. To be consistent with the geometrical shape of the asteroid,we explore a parabolic profile of the *** establish the closed analytical form of the potential generated by this inhomogeneous massive *** study of the dynamical behavior is fulfilled by the use of Lagrangian formulation,which allows us to calculate some two and three dimensional orbits.

Impact of Quebracho Tannins Supplementation on Productive and Reproductive Efficiency of Dairy Cows

This study was conducted to investigate effects of supplementing two doses of quebracho tannins (QT;100 or 200 g/cow/d;QT100 or QT200) pre and post parturition to thirty Holstein dairy cows on Dry matter Intake (DmI), milk yield and composition, blood metabolites and reproductive performance for 12 weeks. There were no significant changes in DmI due to QT at transition period of dairy cows. QT supplementation at either level decreased (P 0.05) the total number of ovarian follicles, number of large follicles, diameter of largest follicle, number of small follicles, number and diameter of corpus luteum, and progesterone concentration. Dynamic Analysis of the non-Linear Behavior of a Composite Sandwich Beam with a magnetorheological elastomer Core

This work deals with the active control of the vibrations of mechanical structures incorporating magnetorheological elastomer. The damping coefficient and shear modulus of the elastomer increase when exposed to a magnetic field. Compared with the vibration control where the elastomer is permanently exposed to a magnetic field, the control of this process through time reduces vibrations more effectively. The experimental study for the vibrations of a sandwich beam filled with an elastomer is conducted, followed by a numerical study using the Abaqus code. The vibration damping is found to be dependent on the loading rate of micro-size ferromagnetic particles in the elastomer.

A new synchronization scheme for chaotic（hyperchaotic） maps with different dimensions is ***,given a drive system map with dimension n and a response system with dimension m,the proposed approach enables each drive system state to be synchronized with a linear response combination of the response system *** method,based on the Lyapunov stability theory and the pole placement technique,presents some useful features：（i） it enables synchronization to be achieved for both cases of n 〈 m and n 〉 m;（ii） it is rigorous,being based on theorems;（iii） it can be readily applied to any chaotic（hyperchaotic） maps defined to ***,the capability of the approach is illustrated by synchronization examples between the two-dimensional H′enon map（as the drive system） and the three-dimensional hyperchaotic Wang map（as the response system）,and the three-dimensional H′enon-like map（as the drive system） and the two-dimensional Lorenz discrete-time system（as the response system）.

Improvement of (Eruca sativa mill) yield, oil, chemical constituents and antioxidant activity utilizing a by-product of yeast production (CmS) with zinc and boron under salinity stress conditions

The impact of low-quality irrigation water on plant development has garnered significant attention from researchers. In light of this, two field experiments were conducted to evaluate the performance, yield, oil production and composition, as well as active constituents of Rocket(Eruca sativa mill) cultivated in calcareous soil under saline water irrigation. Foliar sprays containing condensed molasses soluble(CmS), zinc(Zn), and boron(B) alone or in combination were used for irrigation. The data obtained from measuring various parameters of Rocket following foliar spraying with CmS, Zn, B or their combinations demonstrated that most treatments resulted in a significant increase in these parameters. The highest values for most measurements were observed when foliar application included all three components(CmS + Zn + B), resulting in a seed yield of 184.6 g/m2and an oil content of 675.3 kg/ha. Compared to the control group, the macronutrient content of n, P, K, mg, and Ca increased by 34.4%, 56%, 42%, 45%, and 39% respectively in the seeds treated with these ***, carbohydrates, proteins, phenolics flavonoids, and antioxidants showed increases of 24%, 34%,21%, 43%, and 28% respectively compared to the control group. Gas-liquid chromatography analysis identified ten components present in the seed oil characterized by higher unsaturated fatty acids ranging from 81.28% to92.28% and lower saturated fatty acids ranging from 6.72% to 8.21%. Therefore, foliar spray application including CmS, zinc, and boron can help alleviate salinity effects on Rocket plants grown under saline water irrigation conditions while improving growth, yield, oil production, and nutritional content such as total carbohydrates, proteins, and macronutrients levels.

Islands of stability and quasi-magic numbers for super- and ultra-heavy nuclei

In the framework of Strutinsky＇s approach, we calculated the shell and the residual pairing correction energies for 5569 even-even nuclei in the range 72 ≤ Z ≤ 282 and 96≤n ≤ 540. Quasi-magic numbers and deformed islands of stability that reside in a range defined by Green＇s formula and the two-neutrons drip line are introduced. We present 36 quasi-magic proton and 53 quasi-magic neutron magic numbers that contribute to the formation of 133 deformed islands of stability along the n-Z space. The quasi-magic proton and neutron magic numbers volatile as the mass number increases and other magic numbers take over. Consequently, the deformed islands of stability fail to exhibit a pattern along the search space covered.

After encountering antigen,B-cells undergo class switch recombination(CSR)that substitutes the constant(C)μgene with Cγ,Cε,or Cα,thereby generating IgG,IgE,and IgA antibodies with new effector functions but the same antigenic specificity.1 The DnA-editing enzyme activation-induced deaminase(AID)is required for CSR by targeting specific DnA switch(S)regions preceding the C region,except Cδ.2 Sμis the donor region,while Sγ,ε,αare the acceptor *** is controlled in cis by the immunoglobulin heavy chain(IgH)3’regulatory region(3’RR).3 The 3’RR is essential to poise AID on the S acceptor *** CSR IgH,intrachromosomal interactions(schematized in Fig.1a)are found between the 3’RR and the intronic Eμenhancer.1,4 Looping allows transcriptional binding activators to enhancers to facilitate ***,CSR is only modestly influenced by Eμdeletion.5–7 During CSR,two different DnA repair pathways take place:the classical nonhomologous end joining(c-nHEJ)and the alternative end joining(A-EJ)pathways.
