Decision Making in Internet of Vehicles Using Pervasive Trusted Computing Scheme

Pervasive schemes are the significant techniques that allow intelligent communication among the devices without any human *** Internet of Vehicles(IoVs)has been introduced as one of the applications of pervasive computing that addresses the road safety *** participating within the IoV are embedded with a wide range of sensors which operate in a real time environment to improve the road safety *** mechanisms have been proposed which allow automatic actions based on uncertainty of sensory and managed *** to the lack of existing transportation integration schemes,IoV has not been completely explored by business *** order to tackle this problem,we have proposed a novel trusted mechanism in IoV during communication,sensing,and record *** proposed method uses trust based analysis and subjective logic functions with the aim of creating a trust environment for vehicles to *** addition,the subjective logic function is integrated with multi-attribute SAW scheme to improve the decision metrics of authenticating *** trust analysis depends on a variety of metrics to ensure an accurate identification of legitimate vehicles embedded with IoT devices *** proposed scheme is determined and verified rigorously through various IoT devices and decision making metrics against a baseline *** simulation results show that the proposed scheme leads to 88%improvement in terms of better identification of legitimate nodes,road accidents and message alteration records during data transmission among vehicles as compared to the baseline approach.

Wireless Sensor Network(WSN)forms an essential part of *** is embedded in the target environment to observe the physical parameters based on the type of *** nodes inWSN are constrained by different features such as memory,bandwidth,energy,and its processing *** WSN,data transmission process consumes the maximum amount of energy than sensing and processing of the ***,diverse clustering and data aggregation techniques are designed to achieve excellent energy efficiency in *** this view,the current research article presents a novel Type II Fuzzy Logic-based Cluster Head selection with Low Complexity Data Aggregation(T2FLCH-LCDA)technique for *** presented model involves a two-stage process such as clustering and data ***,three input parameters such as residual energy,distance to Base Station(BS),and node centrality are used in T2FLCH technique for CH selection and cluster ***,the LCDA technique which follows Dictionary Based Encoding(DBE)process is used to perform the data aggregation at ***,the aggregated data is transmitted to the BS where it achieves energy *** experimental validation of the T2FLCH-LCDAtechnique was executed under three different scenarios based on the position of *** experimental results revealed that the T2FLCH-LCDA technique achieved maximum energy efficiency,lifetime,Compression Ratio(CR),and power saving than the compared methods.

Disease diagnosis is a challenging task due to a large number of associated *** in the diagnosis process arises frominaccuracy in patient attributes,missing data,and limitation in the medical expert’s ability to define cause and effect relationships when there are multiple interrelated *** paper aims to demonstrate an integrated view of deploying smart disease diagnosis using the Internet of Things(IoT)empowered by the fuzzy inference system(FIS)to diagnose various *** Fuzzy Systemis one of the best systems to diagnose medical conditions because every disease diagnosis involves many uncertainties,and fuzzy logic is the best way to handle *** proposed system differentiates new cases provided symptoms of the ***,it becomes a time-sensitive task to discriminate symptomatic *** proposed system can track symptoms firmly to diagnose diseases through IoT and FIS smartly and *** coefficients have been employed to predict and compute the identified disease’s severity for each sign of *** study aims to differentiate and diagnose COVID-19,Typhoid,Malaria,and *** study used the FIS method to figure out the disease over the use of given data related to correlating with input *** tool is utilised for the implementation of *** procedure on the aforementioned given data presents that affectionate disease can derive from the *** results of our proposed method proved that FIS could be utilised for the diagnosis of other *** study may assist doctors,patients,medical practitioners,and other healthcare professionals in early diagnosis and better treat diseases.

A Cryptographic-Based Approach for Electricity Theft Detection in Smart Grid

In order to strengthen their security issues,electrical companies devote particular efforts to developing and enhancing their fraud detection techniques that cope with the information and communication technologies integration in smart grid *** been treated earlier by several researchers,various detection schemes adapted from attack models that benefit from the smart grid topologies weaknesses,aiming primarily to the identification of suspicious incoming *** meshes have been extensively used in smart grid communication architectures due to their facility,lightness of conception and low cost installation;however,the communicated packets are still exposed to be intercepted maliciously in order either to falsify pertinent information like the smart meter readings,or to inject false data instead,aiming at electricity theft during the communication *** this reason,this paper initiates a novel method based on RSA cryptographic algorithm to detect electricity fraud in smart *** new method consists of generating two different cryptograms of one electricity measurement before sending,after which the recipient is used to find the same value after decrypting the two cyphers in a normal ***,a fraudulent manipulation could occur during the transmission *** presented method allows us to kill two birds with one ***,satisfactory outcomes are shown:the algorithm accuracy reaches 100%,from one hand,and the privacy is protected thanks to the cryptology concept on the other hand.

Antihydatic and immunomodulatory effects of Punica granatum peel aqueous extract in a murine model of echinococcosis

Objective: To investigate the effect of pomegranate peel aqueous extract (PGE) on the development of secondary experimental echinococcosis and on the viability of Echinococcus granulosus protoscoleces, and the immunomodulatory properties of PGE. Methods: Swiss mice were inoculated intraperitoneally with viable protoscoleces. Then, PGE was orally administered daily during cystic echinococcosis development. Cyst development and hepatic damage were macroscopically and histologically analyzed. The production of nitric oxide and TNF-alpha was assessed in plasma and the hepatic expression of iNOS, TNF-alpha, NF-kappa B and CD68 was examined. Moreover, protoscoleces were cultured and treated with different concentrations of PGE. Results: It was observed that in vitro treatment of protoscoleces caused a significant decrease in viability in a PGE-dose-dependent manner. In vivo, after treatment of cystic echinococcosis infected mice with PGE, a significant decrease in nitric oxide levels (P<0.000 1) and TNF-alpha levels (P<0.001) was observed. This decline was strongly related to the inhibition of cyst development (rate of hydatid cyst growth inhibition=63.08%) and a decrease in CD68 expression in both the pericystic layer of hepatic hydatid cysts and liver tissue (P<0.000 1). A significant diminution of iNOS, TNF-alpha and NF-kappa B expression was also observed in liver tissue of treated mice (P<0.000 I). Conclusions: Our results indicate an antihydatic scolicidal effect and immunomodulatory properties of PGE, suggesting its potential therapeutic role against Echinococcus granulosus infection.

Lagrangian generic second order traffic flow models for node

This study sheds light on higher order macroscopic traffic flow modeling on road networks, thanks to the generic second order models （GSOM family） which embeds a myriad of traffic models. It has been demonstrated that such higher order models are easily solved in Lagrangian coordinates which are compatible with both microscopic and macroscopic descriptions. The generalized GSOM model is reformulated in the Lagrangian coordinate system to develop a more efficient numerical method. The difficulty in applying this approach on networks basically resides in dealing with node dynamics. Traffic flow characteristics at node are different from that on homogeneous links. Different geometry features can lead to different critical research issues. For instance, discontinuity in traffic stream can be an important issue for traffic signal operations, while capacity drop may be crucial for lane-merges. The current paper aims to establish and analyze a new adapted node model for macroscopic traffic flow models by applying upstream and downstream boundary conditions on the Lagrangian coordinates in order to perform simulations on networks of roads, and accompanying numerical method. The internal node dynamics between upstream and downstream links are taken into account of the node model. Therefore, a numerical example is provided to underscore the efficiency of this approach. Simulations show that the discretized node model yields accurate results. Additional kinematic waves and contact discontinuities are induced by the variation of the driver attribute.
