The aim.of this research is to dem.nstrate a novel schem. for approxim.ting the Riem.nn-Liouville fractional integral *** would be achieved by first establishing a fractional-order version of the 2-point Trapezoidal rule and then by proposing another fractional-order version of the(n+1)-com.osite Trapezoidal *** particular,the so-called divided-difference form.la is typically em.loyed to derive the 2-point Trapezoidal rule,which has accordingly been used to derive a m.re accurate fractional-order form.la called the(n+1)-com.osite Trapezoidal ***,in order to increase the accuracy of the proposed approxim.tions by reducing the true errors,we incorporate the so-called Rom.erg integration,which is an extrapolation form.la of the Trapezoidal rule for integration,into our proposed *** num.rical exam.les are provided and com.ared with a m.dern definition of the Riem.nn-Liouville fractional integral operator to illustrate the efficacy of our schem..

Nanocom.osite film. consisting of carboxym.thyl cellulose,polyethylene oxide(Cm./PEO),and anatase titanium.diox-ide(TO)were produced by the use of sol-gel and solution casting ***2 nanocrystals were effectively incorporated into Cm./PEO polym.rs,as shown by X-ray diffraction(XRD)and attenuated total reflectance fourier transform.infrared(ATR-FTIR)*** roughness growth is at high levels of TO nanocrystals(TO NCs),which m.ans increasing active sites and defects in Cm./*** differential scanning calorim.try(DSC)therm.gram.,the change in glass transition tem.erature(Tg)val-ues verifies that the polym.r blend interacts with TO *** increm.nt proportions of TO NCs have a notable im.act on the dielectric perform.nces of the nanocom.osites,as *** electrical properties of the Cm./PEO/TO nanocom.osite undergo significant *** nanocom.osite film. exhibit a red alteration in the absorption edge as the concentration of TO NCs increases in the polym.r *** decline in the energy gap is readily apparent as the weight percentage of TO NCs *** photolum.nescence(PL)em.ssion spectra indicate that the sites of the lum.nescence peak m.xim.m. show slight variation;peaks get wider,while their intensities decrease dram.tically as the concentration of TO *** nanocom.osite m.terials show potential for m.ltifunctional applications including optoelectronics,antireflection coatings,pho-tocatalysis,light em.tting diodes,and solid polym.r electrolytes.

Zinc-air batteries(ZABs)are gaining attention as an ideal option for various applications requiring high-capacity batteries,such as portable electronics,electric vehicles,and renewable energy *** offer advantages such as low environm.ntal im.act,enhanced safety com.ared to Li-ion batteries,and cost-effectiveness due to the abundance of ***,early research faced challenges due to parasitic reactions at the zinc anode and slow oxygen redox *** advancem.nts in restructuring the anode,utilizing alternative electrolytes,and developing bifunctional oxygen catalysts have significantly im.roved *** have achieved battery reversibility over thousands of cycles,introduced new electrolytes,and achieved energy efficiency records surpassing 70%.Despite these achievem.nts,there are challenges related to lower power density,shorter lifespan,and air electrode corrosion leading to perform.nce *** review paper discusses different battery configurations,and reaction m.chanism. for electrically and m.chanically rechargeable ZABs,and proposes rem.dies to enhance overall battery *** paper also explores recent advancem.nts,applications,and the future prospects of electrically/m.chanically rechargeable ZABs.

As one of the m.st critical types of cancer,hepatocellular carcinom.(HCC)affects m.ny people *** study dem.nstrated the prospective use of atorvastatin,a drug that inhibits the m.valonate pathway,causing hypolipidem.a,as a carrier to deliver the iodine-131(131I)isotope to liver tissues for HCC *** atorvastatin radioiodination m.thod was optim.zed for utilizing the131I *** radiochem.cal quality and the in vitro stability of the generated[131I]atorvastatin were *** addition,the biodistribution experim.nts of[131I]atorvastatin were evaluated in both norm.l and HCC-induced rat m.dels.[131I]atorvastatin was produced at a m.xim.m.radiochem.cal yield of 86.7±0.49%.The[131I]atorvastatin solution purified via high-perform.nce liquid chrom.tography showed good in vitro stability for 12 h after *** analyses revealed rem.rkable liver targeting capacity of[131I]atorvastatin and good localization of131I in liver ***,the encouraging biochem.cal profile and histopathologicalfindings have been reported,and prelim.nary investigations on the possible use of[131I]atorvastatin as a radiotracer and its im.act on HCC radiotherapy in rats show prom.se.

Background: FT3 levels in plasm. m.y provide a m.rker for liver status in cirrhosis. Aim. The aim.is to correlate thyroid functions with hepatic status in com.ensated and decom.ensated cirrhosis, and to study their effect on developm.nt of HCC. Settings and Design: Prospective controlled cohort study. A total of 58 patients with liver cirrhosis were recruited from.Kasr alAiny ER and outpatient clinics. Patients were categorised into com.ensated (11), decom.ensated (39) and patients with hepatocellular carcinom. (8). The study also included 12 healthy controls. m.thods and m.terial: Liver function tests, TSH, FT4 and FT3 and abdom.nal ultrasound and triphasic com.uted tom.graphy abdom.nal scans were done. Statistical Analysis Used: Chi-square and unpaired t-tests were used for com.arison. One way ANOVA and Kruskal Wallis tests were used to com.are m.re than two groups. Spearm.n Correlation followed by logistic regression analysis of significant variables was used to find predictors of dependent variables. Results: The frequency of patients with low FT3 was significantly higher in patients with liver cirrhosis (48%), and HCC (50%) than control subjects (12%) (p-value m.an serum.FT3 was lowest am.ng decom.ensated patients (2 pg/m. ± 0.7), followed by patients with HCC (2.5 pg/m. ± 0.7) and highest am.ng com.ensated patients (3.7 pg/m. ± 0.4), p-value alysis showed that low FT3, m.le gender, ulcer bleeding and encephalopathy were independently associated with the developm.nt of HCC (OR, 95% CI: 1.1, 0.3 - 8). Conclusions: Low FT3 is com.on am.ng patients with decom.ensated liver cirrhosis and HCC. FT3 shows a significant negative correlation with severity of liver disease and deterioration of liver function. Low FT3 shows a significant independent association with HCC.

AIm. To evaluate the safety and the efficacy of the ultrasound ciliary plasty(UCP) on the intraocular pressure(IOP) control in glaucom.tous eyes without previous glaucom. ***: A retrospective study included patients with prim.ry and secondary glaucom. who underwent UCP in Dar al Shifa Hospital, Kuwait between January 2017 to June 2018. High-intensity focused ultrasound procedures were perform.d under peribulbar anesthesia using the 2^(nd) generation probe with 8 s duration of each of the 6 shots. Com.lete ophthalm.logic exam.nations were scheduled pre-treatm.nt, and at 1 d, 1 wk, 1, 3, 6 and 12 m. posttreatm.nt. Prim.ry outcom.s were the IOP reduction and success rates at 12 m., while the secondary outcom.s were the occurrence of vision threatening com.lications and visual ***: The records of 62 eyes of 62 patients were analyzed with m.an age of 63.8 y(67.7% m.les). There was statistically significant reduction in the m.an IOP from.35.2±8.3 m. Hg before treatm.nt to 20.6±8.7 m. Hg at 12^(th) m.nth(Pm.an percentage IOP reduction of 42.3% with significant reduction in the m.an num.er of antiglaucom.tous drugs from.3.2±0.4 before treatm.nt to 2.1±1.02 at 12 m.(Palified success was achieved in 77.4% of eyes at 12 m.. No m.jor intra-or posttreatm.nt com.lications were ***: Second-generation UCP prove to be effective in reducing IOP in naive glaucom. patients with lower success rates in cases of neovascular and uveitic glaucom.s.

Herein,this article was focused on the synthesis and discussed the spectroscopic characterizations of four new scandium.Ⅲ)sulfa-drug *** nom.nclature and sym.ols of these drugs were sulfadim.dine(sulp-1),sulfanilam.de(sulp-2),sulfam.thoxazole(sulp-3)and sulfadiazine(sulp-4).The m.croanalytical and spectroscopic analyses which utilized in this study were m.cro-analyses,m.gnetic,FT-IR,UV-Vis *** m.d infrared spectra deduced that the four sulfa-drug chelates acts as a bidentate chelates with scandium.Ⅲ)ion via two nitrogen atom. of-NH2-Ar and-NH-SO2 ***,the FTIR spectra of Sc3+com.lexes referred to the existed of new m.dium.weak bands in the range of 500~400 cm.-1 due to stretching vibration bands ofν(m.N).The elem.ntal analysis technique confirm.d the 1∶2 stoichiom.try between Sc3+ions and sulp ligand with m.lecular form.la[Sc(sulp)2(Cl)2]·*** room.tem.erature,the results of m.gnetic m.asurem.nts for the Sc(Ⅲ)com.lexes indicated that all of the synthesized com.lexes have a diam.gnetic character with octahedral *** electronic spectra of the free sulfa-drug ligands shows band at 275 and 310 nm.which are intraligand charge transfer *** electronic sbsorption spectra of the Sc3+com.lexes were recorded using Dm.O *** spectra of com.lexes display bands within 275~388 nm.which attributed toπ-π*,n-π*and charge-transfer m.LCT electronic transitions,which strongly favors the octahedral geom.try around Sc(Ⅲ)m.tal ions.1HNm. spectra of com.lexes referred to the downfield proton shifts of the-NH2 and NHSO2 groups,which supported the place of *** half m.xim.l inhibitory concentration(IC50)of the ScⅢcom.lexes was assessed against the hum.n hepato cellular carcinom.(HepG-2)tum.r cell line.
