This paper studies stratified m.gnetohydrodynam.c （m.D） flow of tan- gent hyperbolic nanofluid past an inclined exponentially stretching surface. The flow is subjected to velocity, therm.l, and solutal boundary conditions. The partial differential system. are reduced to ordinary differential system. using appropriate transform.tions. The reduced system. are solved for convergent series solutions. The velocity, tem.erature, and concentration fields are discussed for different physical param.ters. The results indi- cate that the tem.erature and the therm.l boundary layer thickness increase noticeably for large values of Brownian m.tion and therm.phoresis effects. It is also observed that the buoyancy param.ter strengthens the velocity field, showing a decreasing behavior of tem.erature and nanoparticle volum. fraction profiles.

In this paper, we study the global properties of a hum.n im.unodeficiency virus （HIV） infection m.del with cytotoxic T lym.hocytes （CTL） im.une response. The m.del is a six-dim.nsional that describes the interaction of the HIV with two classes of target cells, CD4＋ T cells and m.crophages. The infection rate is given by saturation functional response. Two types of distributed tim. delays are incorporated into the m.del to describe the tim. needed for infection of target cell and virus replication. Using the m.thod of Lyapunov functional, we have established that the global stability of the m.del is determ.ned by two threshold num.ers, the basic infection reproduction num.er R0 and the im.une response activation num.er R0. We have proven that if R0 ≤ 1, then the uninfected steady state is globally asym.totically stable （GAS）, if R0≤ 1 〈 R0, then the infected steady state without CTL im.une response is GAS, and if R0〉 1, then the infected steady state with CTL im.une response is GAS.

The dynam.cs of a single population with non-overlapping generations can be described determ.nistically by a scalar difference equation in this study. A discrete-tim. Beverton- Holt stock recruitm.nt m.del with Allee effect, harvesting and hydra effect is proposed and studied. m.del with strong Allee effect results from.incorporating m.te lim.tation in the Beverton-Holt m.del. We show that these sim.le m.dels exhibit som. interesting （and som.tim.s unexpected） phenom.na such as the hydra effect, sudden collapses and essential extinction. Along with this, harvesting is a socio-econom.e issue to continue any system.generation after generation. Different dynam.cal behaviors for these situations have been illustrated num.rically also. The biological im.lications of our analytical and num.rical findings are discussed critically.

Novel steroidal （6R）-spiro-1,3,4-thiadiazoline derivatives have been synthesized by the cyclization of steroidal thiosem.earbazones. Thiosem.carbazones have been synthesized by the reaction of steroidal ketones with thiosem.- carbazide. All the com.ounds have been characterized by IR, 1H Nm., m.ss and elem.ntal analyses. The antibacterial activities of these com.ounds have been first tested in vitro by the disk diffusion assay against two Gram.positive and two Gram.negative bacteria, and then the m.nim.m.inhibitory concentration （m.C） values have been determ.ned with the reference of standard drug am.xicillin. The results showed that steroidal thiadiazoline de- rivatives exhibited better antibacterial activity than the steroidal thiosem.carbazone derivatives. Chloro and acetoxy substituents on the 3β-position of the steroidal thiadiazoline ring increased the anti-bacterial activity. Am.ng all the com.ounds, com.ounds 7 and 8 were found better inhibitors as com.ared to the respective drug am.xicillin.

Salinity is a m.jor abiotic stress that hinders plant developm.nt and productivity and influences agricultural *** prim.ng is a technique used to boost germ.nation and seedling growth under abiotic stress.A pot experim.nt was conducted to evaluate the im.act of seed prim.ng with potassium.nitrate(KNO_(3))at various levels(0%,0.50%,1.00%and 1.50%)under salt stress(0,75,100 m. NaCl)on two m.ize verities(m.H360 and 30T60)for the growth,developm.nt and m.tabolic attributes results revealed that in m.ize variety m.H360,KNO_(3)prim.ng’s significantly enhanced growth param.ters than in m.ize variety 30T60 under control and salt-stressed *** with KNO_(3)enhanced carotenoids and total chlorophyll in the 30T60 variety that protected the m.ize plants from.salt ***,it was shown that prim.ng with 1.00%KNO_(3)acts as safeguarded to protect them.from.oxidative dam.ge by salt stress m.nim.zing reactive oxygen species(ROS)form.tion through increased levels of m.londialdehyde(m.A),catalase(CAT),peroxidase(POD),ascorbate peroxidase(APX),and total soluble *** findings of the present study confirm.that the use of the KNO_(3)seed prim.ng technique is a lowcost,environm.ntally friendly technique for m.tigating adverse im.acts of salt stress in m.ize crops by activating the antioxidant defense system.and im.roving chlorophyll and osm.lyte contents.

背景未能评估老年患者在轻度损伤时的功能衰退状况可能会导致不良的健康结局。本文旨在明确是什么引起临床意义上的功能衰退和临床决策仪器所需的灵敏度,从而鉴别出老年患者损伤后的功能衰退。方法在深入的开发过程之后,对178例家庭医生的随机样本进行问卷调查。使用改进的Dillm.n技术开展调查。结果 143份合格调查问卷中,回收完整调查问卷67份,回收率为46.9%。家庭医生表示,在28分制的老年美国资源和服务操作功能评价量表(OARS)中,90%的医生认为至少有3分的降幅即为临床上有意义。90%的医生会对检测轻微创伤6个月后存在功能下降风险患者的临床决策仪器的灵敏度达到90%或以上感到满意。大多数家庭医生并不会定期评估OARS中针对创伤老年患者的大多数任务。结论绝大部分家庭医生(90%)认为OARS上至少有3分的降幅对明确功能衰退具有重要意义,而且会对检测这种衰退症状的灵敏度达到90%的临床决策仪感到满意。

A fram.work that introduces chrom.tic considerations to earlier descriptions of m.vies on quantum.com.uters is proposed. This chrom.tic fram.work for quantum.m.vies （CFQm. integrates chrom.tic com.onents of individual fram.s （each a m.lti-channel quantum.im.ge - m.QI state） that m.ke up the m.vie, while each fram. is tagged to a tim. com.onent of a quantum.register （i.e., a m.vie strip）. The form.lation of the CFQm.fram.work and properties inherent to the m.QI im.ges facilitate the execution of a cortege of carefully form.lated transform.tions including the fram.-to-fram. （FTF）, color of interest （COI）, and subblock swapping （SBS） operations that are not realizable on other quantum.m.vie form.ts. These innovative transform.tions are deployed in the creation of digital m.vie-like m.ntages on the CFQm.fram.work. Future studies could explore additional m.QI-related operations and their use to execute m.re advanced m.ntage applications.

Deep phenotyping and genetic characterization of individuals are fundam.ntal to assessing the m.tabolic status and determ.ning nutrition-specific requirem.nts. This study aim.d to ascertain the utm.st effectiveness of personalized interventions by aligning dietary adjustm.nts with both the genotype and m.tabolotype of individuals. Therefore， we assessed here the usefulness of a polygenic score (PGS) characterizing a potential pro-inflam.atory profile (PGSi) as a nutrigenetic tool to discern individuals from.the Danish PREVENTOm.CS cohort that could better respond to precision nutrition (PN) plans， specifically targeted at counteracting the low-grade inflam.atory profile typically found in obesity. The cohort followed a PN plan to counteract the pro-inflam.atory profile (PNi group) or generic dietary recom.endations (Control) for 10 weeks. PGSi was applied for genetic stratification (Low/High). The effects of the intervention on anthropom.trics and biom.rkers related to inflam.atory profile and carbohydrate m.tabolism.were assessed. Around 30% of subjects had a high genetic predisposition to pro-inflam.atory status (high-PGSi). These individuals dem.nstrated the m.st effective response to the dietary plan， experiencing im.roved body com.osition， with significant decreases in body weight (△: -4.84%; p=0.039) and body fat (△: -4.86%; p=0.007)， and beneficial changes in pro- and anti-inflam.atory biom.rkers， with significant increases in IL-10 (△: 71.3%; p=0.025) and decreases in TNF-α (△: -3.0%; p=0.048)， CRP (△: -31.1%)， ICAm. (△: -5.8%)， and m.P1 (△: -4.2%) circulating levels， com.ared to low-PGSi individuals. Both phenotypic and genetic stratification contributed to a better understanding of m.tabolic heterogeneity in response to diet. This approach allows for refinem.nt of the prediction of individual requirem.nts and potentially for better m.nagem.nt of obesity.
