Security is a vital parameter to conserve energy in wireless sensor networks(WSn).Trust management in the WSn is a crucial process as trust is utilized when collaboration is important for accomplishing trustworthy data *** the available routing techniques do not involve security in the design of routing *** study develops a novel statistical analysis with dingo optimizer enabled reliable routing scheme(SADO-RRS)for *** proposed SADO-RRS technique aims to detect the existence of attacks and optimal routes in *** addition,the presented SADORRS technique derives a new statistics based linear discriminant analysis(LDA)for attack detection,Moreover,a trust based dingo optimizer(TBDO)algorithm is applied for optimal route selection in the WSn and accomplishes secure data transmission in ***,the TBDO algorithm involves the derivation of the fitness function involving different input variables of *** demonstrating the enhanced outcomes of the SADO-RRS technique,a wide range of simulations was carried out and the outcomes demonstrated the enhanced outcomes of the SADO-RRS technique.

Choroidal thickness measurements in young Saudi adult population: a cross-sectional study

AIM:To determine the choroidal thickness(CT)in young healthy Saudi adults using spectral-domain optical coherence tomography(SD-OCT)with an automated CT segmentation ***:Fifty-eight young adults(total of 116 eyes),39 males and 19 females participated in this study between the ages of 18 and 38y(mean 22.65±3.9y).All participants underwent ophthalmic screening examination,including the SD-OCT for measurements of CT in each quadrant egmented into five eccentric regions starting from the foveal region up to 4.5 mm towards the ***:The choroid was thickest in the foveal region(central 1 mm,300±60μm)and began to progressively thinner beyond the parafovea(1.5–2.5 mm,284±67μm)towards the peripheral region(3.5–4.5 mm from the fovea,254±83μm).The superior choroid showed the thickest profile(309±57μm),while the nasal choroid exhibited the thinnest(229±76μm).The rate of the thinning with increasing eccentricity was more predominant in the nasal choroid,which thinned from the foveal region(294±58μm)to the peripheral region(158±55μm).The superior and inferior choroid did not show a statistically significant thinning with eccentricity(all P>0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the CT between gender,age,and laterality of the eyes(all P>0.05).A significant association of myopia with thinner subfoveal choroid was observed(Pearson’s,r=0.37),and regression analysis showed that a 10.3μm choroidal thinning for each diopter increase of ***:CT profile depends on eccentric and the *** CT profile across the measured area in the young Saudi adult population is comparable to other previous *** error is critical for CT evaluation.

The electrical conductivity and Hall effect for T1GaSeS crystals have been investigated over a wide temperature range. The crystals we used are grown by a modified Bridgman technique and possess p-type conductivity. The energy gap has been found to be 1.63 eV, whereas the ionization energy is 0.25 eV. The variations of the Hall mobility as well as the carrier concentration with temperature have been investigated. The scattering mechanisms of the carder are checked over the whole investigated temperature range. Furthermore, the diffusion coefficient, relaxation time, and diffusion length of holes are estimated.

Based on the Saudi Green initiative,which aims to improve the Kingdom’s environmental status and reduce the carbon emission of more than 278 million tons by 2030 along with a promising plan to achieve netzero carbon by 2060,nEOM city has been proposed to be the“Saudi hub”for green energy,since nEOM is estimated to generate up to 120 Gigawatts(GW)of renewable energy by ***,the Information and Communication Technology(ICT)sector is considered a key contributor to global energy consumption and carbon *** data centers are estimated to consume about 13%of the overall global electricity demand by ***,reducing the total carbon emissions of the ICT sector plays a vital factor in achieving the Saudi plan to minimize global carbon ***,this paper aims to propose an eco-friendly approach using a Mixed-Integer Linear Programming(MILP)model to reduce the carbon emissions associated with ICT infrastructure in Saudi *** approach considers the Saudi national Fiber network(SnFn)as the backbone of Saudi Internet ***,we compare two different scenarios of data center *** first scenario considers a traditional cloud data center located in Jeddah and Riyadh,whereas the second scenario considers nEOM as a potential cloud data center new location to take advantage of its green energy ***,we calculate the energy consumption and carbon emissions of cloud data centers and their associated energy *** that,we optimize the energy efficiency of different cloud data centers’locations(in the SnFn)to reduce the associated carbon emissions and energy *** results show that the proposed approach can save up to 94%of the carbon emissions and 62%of the energy cost compared to the current cloud physical *** savings are achieved due to the shifting of cloud data centers from cities that have conventional energy sources to a city that has rich in renewable energy ***,we

Aging is a natural process that leads to debility,disease,and ***’s disease(AD)causes degeneration of the brain cells leading to cognitive decline and memory loss,as well as dependence on others to fulfill basic daily *** is the major cause of ***-aided diagnosis(CADx)tools aid medical practitioners in accurately identifying diseases such as AD in *** study aimed to develop a CADx tool for the early detection of AD using the Intelligent Water Drop(IWD)algorithm and the Random Forest(RF)*** IWD algorithm an efficient feature selection method,was used to identify the most deterministic features of AD in the *** is an ensemble method that leverages multiple weak learners to classify a patient’s disease as either demented(Dn)or cognitively normal(Cn).The proposed tool also classifies patients as mild cognitive impairment(MCI)or *** dataset on which the performance of the proposed CADx was evaluated was sourced from the Alzheimer’s Disease neuroimaging Initiative(ADnI).The RF ensemble method achieves 100%accuracy in identifying Dn patients from Cn *** classification accuracy for classifying patients as MCI or Cn is 92%.This study emphasizes the significance of pre-processing prior to classification to improve the classification results of the proposed CADx tool.

Cloud computing has become increasingly popular due to its capacity to perform computations without relying on physical infrastructure,thereby revolutionizing computer ***,the rising energy consumption in cloud centers poses a significant challenge,especially with the escalating energy *** paper tackles this issue by introducing efficient solutions for data placement and node management,with a clear emphasis on the crucial role of the Internet of Things(IoT)throughout the research *** IoT assumes a pivotal role in this study by actively collecting real-time data from various sensors strategically positioned in and around data *** sensors continuously monitor vital parameters such as energy usage and temperature,thereby providing a comprehensive dataset for *** data generated by the IoT is seamlessly integrated into the Hybrid TCn-GRU-nBeat(nGT)model,enabling a dynamic and accurate representation of the current state of the data center *** the incorporation of the Seagull Optimization Algorithm(SOA),the nGT model optimizes storage migration strategies based on the latest information provided by IoT *** model is trained using 80%of the available dataset and subsequently tested on the remaining 20%.The results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach,with a Mean Squared Error(MSE)of 5.33%and a Mean Absolute Error(MAE)of 2.83%,accurately estimating power prices and leading to an average reduction of 23.88%in power ***,the integration of IoT data significantly enhances the accuracy of the nGT model,outperforming benchmark algorithms such as Densenet,Support Vector Machine(SVM),Decision Trees,and *** nGT model achieves an impressive accuracy rate of 97.9%,surpassing the rates of 87%,83%,80%,and 79%,respectively,for the benchmark *** findings underscore the effectiveness of the proposed method in optimizing energy efficiency and enhancing the predictive

In this work,we have reported the synthesis of a series of heterogeneous catalysts,viz.,[HMIm]_(3)[PW_(12)O_(40)]@MOF-Fe,[HMIm]_(3)[PMo_(12)O_(40)]@MOF-Fe,and[HMIm]_(4)[SiW_(12)O_(40)]@MOFFe,by a simple impregnation *** catalysts were characterized by several techniques,such as FTIR,EDX,XRD,SEM,elemental mapping,and *** these materials,[HMIm]_(3)[PW_(12)O_(40)]@MOF-Fe had more acidic sites(confirmed by potentiometric titration)and high stability around 598℃(confirmed by TGA).The catalytic prospect of the materials was examined through selective acetalization of glycerol to solketal as a fuel additive under solvent-free and room-temperature conditions.[HMIm]_(3)[PW_(12)O_(40)]@MOF-Fe exhibited the highest catalytic activity among the three catalysts in terms of glycerol conversion(100%),solketal selectivity(100%),and solketal yield(100%).A recyclability study of[HMIm]_(3)[PW_(12)O_(40)]@MOF-Fe showed that the material could be reused for up to 7 cycles with insignificant loss in its catalytic performance.

In this research, the researchers addressed the issue of digital transformation and its impact on the development of medical maintenance, and this topic is very important in the field of medical engineering. The researchers chose the military Hospital in Medina as his study location. The study aimed to identify and address the main challenges facing the digital transformation of medical maintenance at the Military Hospital in Medina. It seeks to analyze the current state of digitalization in medical maintenance operations, identify areas requiring improvement, and propose effective strategies to overcome obstacles. The study will evaluate the impact of digital transformation on efficiency, cost-effectiveness, patient care, and overall operational performance. At the end of the research, the researchers reached several results, including that introducing digital systems and technologies into medical maintenance can increase efficiency in various aspects, such as scheduling equipment maintenance, inventory management, and resource allocation. Researchers may find evidence of reduced downtime, streamlined workflow, and optimized use of resources. In addition, digital transformation initiatives in medical maintenance may focus on ensuring the safety and reliability of medical equipment. Research can reveal improvements in equipment reliability, decreased equipment failure rates, and improved patient safety outcomes.
