BACKGROUND In severe cases of coronary artery disease,percutaneous coronary intervention provide promising *** stent used could be a drug-eluting stent(DES)or a titanium-nitride-oxide coated stent(TiNOS).AIM To compare the 5-year effectiveness and safety of the two stent *** The following systematic review and meta-analysis was conducted in accordance with the preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analysis guidelines,and PubMed/MEDLINE,Scopus,and Cochrane Central were searched from inception till August *** outcomes were major adverse cardiac events(MACE),cardiac death,myocardial infarction(MI),cardiac death or MI,and ischemia-driven total lesion revascularization(id-TLR).RESULTS Four randomized controlled trials(RCT),which analyzed a sum total of 3045 patients with acute coronary syndrome(ACS)after a median follow-up time of 5 years were *** statistically insignificant,an increase in the id-TLR was observed in patients receiving TiNOSs vs *** addition,MI,cardiac death and MI,and definite stent thrombosis(DST)were significantly decreased in the TiNOS *** analysis revealed no significant results with meta-regression presenting non-ST elevated MI(NSTEMI)as a statistically significant covariate in the outcome of *** TiNOS was found to be superior to DES in terms of MI,cardiac death or MI,and DST outcomes,however,the effect of the two stent types on id-TLR and MACE was not significant.A greater number of studies are required to establish an accurate comparison of patient outcomes in TiNOS and DES.

COVid-19 Outbreak Prediction by Using Machine Learning Algorithms

COVid-19 is a contagious disease and its several variants put under stress in all walks of life and economy as *** diagnosis of the virus is a crucial task to prevent the spread of the virus as it is a threat to life in the whole ***,with the advancement of technology,the Internet of Things(IoT)and social IoT(SIoT),the versatile data produced by smart devices helped a lot in overcoming this lethal *** mining is a technique that could be used for extracting useful information from massive *** this study,we used five supervised ML strategies for creating a model to analyze and forecast the existence of COVid-19 using the Kaggle dataset“COVid-19 Symptoms and Presence.”RapidMiner Studio ML software was used to apply the Decision Tree(DT),Random Forest(RF),K-Nearest Neighbors(K-NNs)and Naive Bayes(NB),Integrated Decision Tree(id3)*** develop the model,the performance of each model was tested using 10-fold cross-validation and compared to major accuracy measures,Cohan’s kappa statistics,properly or mistakenly categorized cases and root means square *** results demonstrate that DT outperforms other methods,with an accuracy of 98.42%and a root mean square error of *** the future,a devisedmodel will be highly recommendable and supportive for early prediction/diagnosis of disease by providing different data sets.

Securing Cloud Storage by Remote Data Integrity Check with Secured Key Generation

In recent decades, a number of protocols for Remote data integrity checking(RDIC) have been proposed. identity(id) based RDIC protocols are constructed to guarantee cloud data integrity and data privacy. The known protocols for RDIC always assume that the Private key generator(PKG) is a trusted one, but in real-world applications by corrupt PKG, malicious Cloud server(CS) can easily cheat the third party auditor that the data owner’s outsourced data are kept safe through the data has been deleted or altered. In this paper, we explore the novel model of RDIC with untrusted PKG and malicious CS, by employing the partial key method and Authentication, authorization, accounting(AAA) *** construct a new id-based RDIC, which provides the id revocation and key updation. The experimental evaluations show that our scheme is more efficient than known ones.

Relationships between Agronomic Practices, Soil Chemical Characteristics and Striga Reproduction in Dryland Areas of Tanzania

The parasitic weed Striga poses a serious threat to cereal production in sub-Saharan Africa. For many years, technological packages for the control of this weed were proposed and implemented on farmers＇ fields. A survey was carried out in farmers＇ fields in 2010/201l cropping season in selected dryland areas of Tanzania to：（a） determine the Striga plant counts, number of capsules/Striga plant and agronomic practices used by farmers to control Striga; and （b） evaluate the relationship between Striga reproduction, soil chemical characteristics and agronomic practices. Soil samples at 0-20 cm depth were collected from 20 different farmers＇ fields. The soil samples were analyzed for pH, organic carbon, N, P and K. Results showed that there was low adoption of recommended Striga control methods. Regression analysis of agronomic practices and soil chemical characteristics revealed a positive improvement of soil N and organic carbon and reduction of soil P and K content as one shifted from sole planting to intercropping. The results showed that potassium was highly positively related to number of capsules/Striga plant. There was a reduction in the number of capsules/plant as one moved from sole planting to intercropping. Based on these findings, K in the Striga infested in soils positively influenced Striga reproduction and seed bank replenishment, hence high soil K levels may lead to high Striga incidence.

Carbon mineralization in subtropical alluvial arable soils amended with sugarcane bagasse and rice husk biochars

Subtropical recent alluvial soils are low in organic carbon(C).Thus,increasing organic C is a major challenge to sustain soil *** amendment could be an option as biochar is a C-rich pyrolyzed material,which is slowly decomposed in *** investigated C mineralization(CO_(2)-C evolution)in two types of soils(recent and old alluvial soils)amended with two feedstocks(sugarcane bagasse and rice husk)(1%,weight/weight),as well as their biochars and aged biochars under a controlled environment(25±2℃)over 85 *** the recent alluvial soil(charland soil),the highest absolute cumulative CO_(2)-C evolution was observed in the sugarcane bagasse treatment(1140 mg CO_(2)-C kg^(-1)soil)followed by the rice husk treatment(1090 mg CO_(2)-C kg^(-1)soil);the lowest amount(150 mg CO_(2)-C kg^(-1)soil)was observed in the aged rice husk biochar ***,for the old alluvial soil(farmland soil),the highest absolute cumulative CO_(2)-C evolution(1290 mg CO_(2)-C kg^(-1)soil)was observed in the sugarcane bagasse treatment and then in the rice husk treatment(1270 mg CO_(2)-C kg^(-1)soil);the lowest amount(200 mg CO_(2)-C kg^(-1)soil)was in the aged rice husk biochar *** sugarcane bagasse and rice husk biochar treatments reduced absolute cumulative CO_(2)-C evolution by 10%and 36%,respectively,compared with unamended recent alluvial soil,and by 10%and 18%,respectively,compared with unamended old alluvial *** absolute and normalized C mineralization were similar between the sugarcane bagasse and rice husk treatments,between the biochar treatments,and between the aged biochar *** both soils,the feedstock treatments resulted in the highest cumulative CO_(2)-C evolution,followed by the biochar treatments and then the aged biochar *** absolute and normalized CO_(2)-C evolution and the mineralization rate constant of the stable C pool(K_(s))were lower in the recent alluvial soil compared with those in the old alluvial *** biochar

A unusual flavone glycoside named Shamimarin(1) and a new compound Acetoxy-8-methyl-chromen-2H-one(2) were isolated from aerial parts of Rhododendron lepidotum *** with four known coumarins daphnin(3),daphnetin 8-O-β-D-glucopyrano-side (4),daphnetin(5) and umbelliferone(6).The structural elucidations were based on analyses of chemical and spectroscopic data by including id and 2D NMR analyses.

Estimating commute-travel implications of telecommuting by female employees in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

A number of Malaysian cities are experiencing severe traffic congestion resulting from rapidly increasing vehicle ownership and usage, and the insufficient supply and inferior quality of public transport. The trend of congestion, frequent traffic accidents and air pollution is nowhere more prevalent in Kuala Lumpur where telecommuting is increasingly being perceived as a viable travel demand management strategy. Due to a number of unique travel characteristics of female commuters and the relatively large participation rate of women in the Malaysian work force, telecommuting by female employees seems a more relevant and potentially more crucial means of alleviating rush hour traffic in the Kuala Lumpur metropolitan area. The aim of this study is to estimate both the potential and actual travel implications of telecommuting by female employees. Therefore, this study is exploratory in nature as it mainly aims to explore the influence of the propagation of a phenomenon（i.e., telecommuting among female employees in Kuala Lumpur） on travel demand, and is thus mainly a quantitative research. The travel implications estimated in this paper include the reduction in commute trips, with a particular emphasis on the reduction in single occupancy vehicles（SOVs） entering the city of Kuala Lumpur during peak hours; vehicle and passenger-kilometers forgone; and time savings as a result of the elimination of the daily commute. The findings clearly show the potential of substantial reduction in vehicle and passenger-kilometers travelled, as well as potential time savings of more than 7000 employee-hours/day under an optimal adoption scenario. Furthermore,telecommuting by female employees could potentially result in a daily reduction of up to 7.8% of all SOVs entering Kuala Lumpur in 2019; however, there is a large gap between that potential reduction and the maximum actual reduction of 0.96%.

An annular fin of hyperbolic profile with temperature dependent thermal conductivity is studied by pseudospectral *** illustrating the effect of fin dimensions,surface convection characteristics and the thermal conductivity parameter on the thermal performance of the fin are presented and discussed.A comparison of the obtained numerical results is made with the closed form analytical solution available in the literature for the case of constant themal *** comparison confirms the high accuracy of numerical *** the thermal conductivity increases with temperature,the effect is to elevate both the temperature distribution in the fin and the fin *** converse is true when the themal conductivity decreases with temperature.

Potential Inhibitory Effect of Vitamins Against COVid-19

Coronavirus disease 2019(COVid-19)is a current pandemic that has affected more than 195 countries *** this severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)pandemic,when treatment strategies are not yet clear and vaccines are not available,vitamins are an excellent choice to protect against this viral *** rationale behind this study was to examine the inhibitory effect of vitamins B,C,and D against the main protease of SARSCoV-2 and angiotensin-converting enzyme 2(ACE2),which have critical rolesin the immune *** docking,performed by using MOE-Dock of the Chemical Computing Group,was used to understand the *** vitamins all docked within the active sites of the Mpro(PDB id:6LU7)and ACE2 receptor proteins(PDB id:6VW1).Vitamins B and C delivered maximum energy scores against both targets,while vitamin D displayed a binding energy score of−7.9532 kcal/mol for M^(pro) and−7.9297 for *** efficiency of all three vitamins is higher than the binding energy score of chloroquine(−6.889 kcal/mol),which is now under clinical *** use of vitamins is beneficial,being immune system restorative,and they also act as anti-COVid *** the potential beneficial effects of vitamin B and C are revealed through docking studies,further clinical trials are required for the validation of these results.
