Intelligent vehicle tracking and detection are crucial tasks in the realm of highway ***,vehicles come in a range of sizes,which is challenging to detect,affecting the traffic monitoring system’s overall *** learning is considered to be an efficient method for object detection in vision-based *** this paper,we proposed a vision-based vehicle detection and tracking system based on a You Look Only Once version 5(YOLOv5)detector combined with a segmentation *** model consists of six *** the first step,all the extracted traffic sequence images are subjected to pre-processing to remove noise and enhance the contrast level of the *** pre-processed images are segmented by labelling each pixel to extract the uniform regions to aid the detection phase.A single-stage detector YOLOv5 is used to detect and locate vehicles in *** detection was exposed to Speeded Up Robust Feature(SURF)feature extraction to track multiple *** on this,a unique number is assigned to each vehicle to easily locate them in the succeeding image frames by extracting them using the feature-matching ***,we implemented a Kalman filter to track multiple *** the end,the vehicle path is estimated by using the centroid points of the rectangular bounding box predicted by the tracking *** experimental results and comparison reveal that our proposed vehicle detection and tracking system outperformed other state-of-the-art *** proposed implemented system provided 94.1%detection precision for Roundabout and 96.1%detection precision for Vehicle Aerial Imaging from Drone(VAID)datasets,respectively.

A consensus meeting of national experts from all major national hepatobiliary centres in the country was held on May 26,2023,at the Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute&Research Centre(PKLI&RC)after initial consultations with the *** Pakistan Society for the Study of Liver Diseases(PSSLD)and PKLI&RC jointly organised this *** effort was based on a comprehensive literature review to establish national practice guidelines for hilar cholangiocarcinoma(hCCA).The consensus was that hCCA is a complex disease and requires a multidisciplinary team approach to best manage these *** coordinated effort can minimise delays and give patients a chance for curative treatment and effective *** diagnostic and staging workup includes high-quality computed tomography,magnetic resonance imaging,and magnetic resonance *** cytology or biopsy utilizing endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography is a mainstay for ***,histopathologic confirmation is not always required before *** ultrasound with fine needle aspiration of regional lymph nodes and positron emission tomography scan are valuable adjuncts for *** only curative treatment is the surgical resection of the biliary tree based on the Bismuth-Corlette *** patients with unresectable hCCA can be considered for liver *** chemotherapy should be offered to patients with a high risk of *** use of preoperative biliary drainage and the need for portal vein embolisation should be based on local multidisciplinary *** with acute cholangitis can be drained with endoscopic or percutaneous biliary *** chemotherapy with cisplatin and gemcitabine has shown improved survival in patients with irresectable and recurrent hCCA.

Induction motors have been widely used across industry,particularly with smaller loads and fixed speed *** works focus on fault detection of induction motors without considering the shutdown time and production in ***,this work aims to monitor the health conditions of the induction motor continuously through electrical signature analysis(ESA).The proposed technique is capable of predicting different kinds of faults,i.e.,rotor faults,stator phase imbalances,and supply cable faults at early ***,ESA in real time is ***,these current spectra were analyzed in frequency domain and compared with healthy current *** evaluation is implemented by observing these spectra under different faulty conditions.A comparative study is made and analyzed through MATLAB simulations.

Pattern of hepatitis C virus genotypes and subtypes circulating in war-stricken Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,Pakistan:Review of published literature

Infection due to hepatitis C virus(HCV) is a major cause of fibrosis and hepatocellular carcinoma in Pakistan. In the current review, pattern of HCV genotypes and subtypes in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province was ascertained in light of the available literature. After thorough analysis, genotype 3(58.27%) was determined to be the leading HCV genotype,followed by genotypes 2(12.39%), 1(9.54%) and 4(0.86%). The proportions of genotypes 5 and 6 were recorded as 0.09% and 0.22% respectively. Subtype wise, 3 a accounted for 48.67%, followed by subtype 2 a(10.91%), 3 b(9.43%), 1 a(5.84%), 1 b(3.66%), 2 b(1.45%) and genotype 4 with its undefined subtypes contributed a portion of0.86%. The cumulative share of subtypes 1 c, 2 c, 3 c, 5 a and 6 a was less than 1%. In11.51% cases, the subtype was untypeable while in 7.17% cases mixed subtypes were recorded. Gender wise, proportions of most HCV subtypes were marginally higher among males as compared to females. On the basis of studied groups, 3 a was pervasive among all groups except in intravenous drug users where 2 a was the major HCV ***, based on various geographical locations(provincial divisions), subtype 3 a revealed a ubiquitous distribution. Conclusively, HCV 3 a persists to be the principal subtype across the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The considerable number of untypeable subtypes in most studies urges for an improved genotyping system on the basis of local sequence data and practice of sequencing for determination of underlying subtype in untypeable cases. Further, studies on identification of subtypes transmission pattern are imperative for assessment of transmission origin and reinforcement of efficient control strategies. In addition, the current review emphasizes the need of attention toward HCV risk groups and ignored southern side of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province for better holistic understanding of HCV genotype distribution pattern in the province.

Prompt industrial development and urban expansion have doubled the demand for energy in face of electric power system comprising of power production,distribution,and *** and devastating changes in climate and environment have affected individuals from all around the globe to indulge in efficient energy *** significance of this research lies in extending the theory of planned behavior with the fields of environment protection,sustainable development,and climatic *** research is a comparative analysis of efficient energy behavior and environmental knowledge among students in China and *** aim of this research is to evaluate the role of students through analyzing their behavioral intentions towards energy efficiency and recognizing the mediating effect of perceived policy indicators in the behavioral intention-action relationship.A total of 220 students each from China and Pakistan contributed to the study for understanding sustainable *** results implicated that the attitudes,subjective norms,and moral obligations contribute significantly in pro-environmental intentions of students with the exception of perceived behavioral *** investigation found a significant contribution of educational background towards building attitudes,perceived behavioral control,and moral obligations whereas subjective norms were not influenced by the educational background of ***,the mediating power of perceived policy indicators was justified within the pro-environmental behavioral intentions-actions *** results of Chinese and Pakistani students were found to be similar with fractional differences and the most prominent obstacle to efficient energy behavior was determined as a lack of environmental *** research provides strategic policy suggestions in face of formulating encouraging engagement in deliberative discussions,interaction with scientists,and formulation of community projects

There are numerous application areas of computing similarity between process *** includes finding similar models from a repository,controlling redundancy of process models,and finding corresponding activities between a pair of process *** similarity between two process models is computed based on their similarity between labels,structures,and execution *** attempts have been made to develop similarity techniques between activity labels,as well as their execution ***,a notable problem with the process model similarity is that two process models can also be similar if there is a structural variation between ***,neither a benchmark dataset exists for the structural similarity between process models nor there exist an effective technique to compute structural *** that end,we have developed a large collection of process models in which structural changes are handcrafted while preserving the semantics of the ***,we have used a machine learning-based approach to compute the similarity between a pair of process models having structural and label ***,we have evaluated the proposed approach using our generated collection of process models.

Objective:To study carbon and nitrogen utilization pattern and arthrospore formation in a psychrotolerant yeast isolate Rhodotorula mucilaginosa(***)***:Growth of the yeast on minimal synthetic medium supplemented with various carbon and nitrogen compounds as sole carbon or nitrogen source has been *** physico-chemical parameters such as pH,restricted oxygen supply,temperatures,media composition and presence of methionine were tested to examine their effect on arthrospore formation by this known opportunistic ***:The psychrotolerant isolate BPT1 identified on the basis of D1/D2 domain of large rDNA sequence characteristics as *** showed some deviation in carbon and nitrogen utilization patterns from those of other strains of *** in the CBS data ***,the isolate produced sub-surface hyphal rays around its colony at lower temperatures(4℃and 20℃)on PDA medium;the ray was found to be linearly arranged *** arthrospore was not produced in liquid medium,or in presence of methionine or under micro-aerobic condition or at higher ***:The investigation showed a novel feature *** was formed by this yeast isolate under specific set of *** results reiterated that only physiological and morphological characteristics were not sufficient to identify a *** ability of *** to form arthrospores seems to be an adaptive feature in response to extreme environmental condition,and represents adaptive ability having something to do with its ubiquity.
