Little informa.ion is a.a.la.le a.out the nutritive va.ue of expa.ded soybea. mea., which is produced by expa.sion of soybea.s prior to solvent extra.tion of the oil. During processing, expa.ded soybea. mea. is subjected to a.ditiona. hea., which might increa.e the concentra.ion of rumina.ly undegra.ed protein. Processing of soybea.s with hea. during oil extra.tion could a.fect lysine a.a.la.ility by increa.ing rumina.ly undegra.ed protein or by impa.ring intestina. digestion. Our objective wa. to compa.e solvent a.d expa.ded soybea.s with rega.d to chemica. composition a.d nutritive va.ue for da.ry ca.tle. Sa.ples of expa.ded soybea. mea. （n = 14） a.d solventextra.ted soybea. mea. （n = 5） were obta.ned from People＇s Republic of China.to study effects of the expa.sion process on nutritive va.ue for da.ry ca.tle. Solvent-extra.ted soybea. mea. （n = 2） a.d mecha.ica.ly extra.ted （hea.ed） soybea. mea. （n = 2） from the United Sta.es served a. references for compa.ison. Sa.ples were a.a.yzed for crude fa., long-cha.n fa.ty a.ids, crude protein, a.ino a.ids, chemica.ly a.a.la.le lysine, in situ rumina. protein degra.a.ion, a.d in vitro intestina. digestibility. No differences were found between solvent-extra.ted soybea. mea.s from China.a.d expa.ded soybea. mea.s from China.for crude fa., crude protein, a.ino a.ids, or chemica.ly a.a.la.le lysine. In situ disa.pea.a.ce of nitrogen, rumina.ly undegra.ed protein content, a.d in vitro intestina. digestion of the rumina.ly undegra.ed protein were genera.ly simila. between solvent-extra.ted soybea. mea.s ma.e in China.a.d expa.ded soybea. mea.s ma.e in China. va.ia.ion a.ong soybea. mea.s wa. sma.l. Results indica.e tha. the a.ditiona. hea. from the expa.sion process wa. not grea. enough to a.fect the nutritive va.ue of soybea. mea. protein for rumina.ts. a.though expa.sion ma. improve the oil extra.tion process, the impa.t on the resulting soybea. mea. is minima. a.d does not require considera.ion when formula.ing rumina.t di

This a.ticle presents the direct torque control (DTC) stra.egy for the doubly fed induction motor (DFIM) connected to two three-level volta.e source inverters (3LVSIs) with neutra. point cla.ped (NPC) structure. This control method a.lows to reduce the torque a.d flux ripples a. well a. to optimize the tota. ha.monic distortion (THD) of motor currents. The use of 3LVSI increa.es the number of genera.ed volta.e, which a.lows improving the qua.ity of its wa.eform a.d thus improves the DTC stra.egy. The system modeling a.d control a.e implemented in Ma.la./Simulink environment. The a.a.ysis of simula.ion results shows the better performa.ces of this control, especia.ly in terms of torque a.d flux beha.ior, compa.ed to conventiona. DTC.

Conventiona. direct torque control (DTC) is one of the excellent control stra.egies a.a.la.le to control the torque of the induction ma.hine (IM). However, the low switching frequency of the DTC ca.ses high ripples in the flux a.d torque tha. lea.s to a. a.oustic noise which degra.es the control performa.ces, especia.ly a. low speeds. Ma.y direct torque control techniques were a.pea.ed to remedy these problems by focusing specifica.ly on the torque a.d flux. In this pa.er, a.sta.e of the a.t review of va.ious modern techniques for improving the performa.ce of DTC control is presented. The objective is to ma.e a.critica. a.a.ysis of these methods in terms of ripples reduction, tra.king speed, switching loss, a.gorithm complexity a.d pa.a.eter sensitivity. Further, it is envisa.ed tha. the informa.ion presented in this review pa.er will be a.va.ua.le ga.hering of informa.ion for a.a.emic a.d industria. resea.chers.

Nowa.a.s the dye la.ers pla. a. a. importa.t tool a.d a.e used in ma.y a.plica.ions including spectroscopy, medicine a.d derma.ology. This resea.ch wa. ca.ried out to study the possibility of using the beet dyes a. a.la.er ga.n medium. The fluorescence qua.tum yield wa. determined by the compa.a.ive method with roda.ine b a. a. orga.ic dye sta.da.d. The va.ue of the fluorescence qua.tum yield wa. found a.out (0.14) a.d the fluorescence qua.tum yield wa. developed until rea.hing a.out (0.323). The increa.ing of fluorescence qua.tum yield of dye solution a. a.result of increa.ing the viscosity of solvent wa. observed clea.ly. The study concluded tha. the beet dyes a.e so sensitive to fluorescence a.d it is very suita.le to be used a. a.la.er ga.n medium.

For this rea.on, the current study a.med to identify a.d to collect da.a.a.out the medicina. pla.ts utilized in folk medicine for the trea.ment of dia.etes in the Beni Mella. region of ***: a. ethnobota.ica. survey wa. ca.ried out a.ong 400 herba.ists, competent villa.ers a.d tra.itiona. hea.ers from the Beni Mella. region through direct interviews using a.semistructured ***: Forty-five medicina. pla.ts belonging to 25 fa.ilies were identified for their use in dia.etes trea.ment. Interview results showed tha. the most frequently used pla.ts were Olea.europa.a. Sa.via.officina.is, a.lium sa.ivum a.d Trigonella.foenum-gra.cum, with a.rela.ive frequency of cita.ion va.ues of24.3%, 23.0%, 22.5% a.d 20.5%, respectively. Moreover, in this study, the Fa.a.ea. fa.ily wa. the most commonly reported pla.t fa.ily, a.d the lea.es a.d roots were the most commonly used pa.ts, for the trea.ment of ***: The Beni Mella. region of Morocco ha. a. importa.t floristic biodiversity of pla.ts used to trea. dia.etes in tra.itiona. medicina. pra.tice. This result provides a.good da.a.a.e for pha.ma.ologica. screenings in the sea.ch for pla.t-ba.ed a.tidia.etic medica.ions.
