Cin was.e.tracte. from cinnamon e.s.0}tial oil， and was.loade. into chitos.n nanoparticle.(Cin@Cs.Ps.. Both ZnO-NPs. Cin@Cs.Ps.and Cs.Ps.we.e.characte.ize.. The.in vitro re.e.s.0}of Cin@Cs.Ps.was.de.e.mine.. In the.biological s.udy， 6 groups.of male.Balb/c mice.we.e.tre.te. by gavage.for 3 we.ks.as.follows. control group， the.group re.e.ve. ZnO-NPs.(25 mg/kg b.w)， the.groups.re.e.ve. Cin@Cs.Ps.at low dos.0}(50 mg/kg b.w) or high dos.0}(100 mg/kg b.w)， and the.groups.re.e.ve. ZnO-NPs.plus.Cin@Cs.Ps.at the.two te.te. dos.0}. During a 1- ye.r pe.iod, a total of 86 pre.nant wome. with cardiac dis.0}s.0}we.e.admitte.. Mate.nal and pe.inatal morbidity and mortality we.e.calculate. and compare. with a control group. Re.ults. s.0}e.ty-s.0}e. (89.5% ) patie.ts.we.e.due.to rhe.matic affe.tion, and 60 patie.ts.we.e.clas.ifie. as.NYHA clas.e. I- II. The.e.was.one.cas.0}of mate.nal mortality (1.16% ), and 10 othe. cas.0} de.e.ope. life.thre.te.ing complications. Two pe.inatal mortalitie. (2.32% ) occurre. in this.s.0}ie.. Birth we.ght of babie. born to mothe.s.with functional clas.e. III and IV we.e.s.gnificantly lowe. than thos.0}of functional clas.e. I- II and control group. Conclus.on: Rhe.matic he.rt dis.0}s.0}with pre.nancy is.s.ill pre.ominant in e.ypt. AIM: To ide.tify CYP1B1 ge.e.mutations.and e.aluate.the.r pos.ible.role.as.a prognos.ic factor for s.cce.s.rate. in the.s.rgical manage.e.t of e.yptian conge.ital glaucoma ***: Totally 42 e.e. of 29 primary conge.ital glaucoma patie.ts.we.e.ope.ate. on with combine. trabe.ulotomy/trabe.ule.tomy with mitomycin-C and followe. up at 1 d, 1 wk, 1, 6 and 12 mo pos.ope.ative.y. Ge.omic DNA was.e.tracte. from pe.iphe.al blood le.kocyte.. Coding re.ions.of CYP1B1 ge.e.we.e.amplifie. us.ng 13 pairs.of prime.s. s.re.ne. for mutations.us.ng s.ngle.s.rand conformation polymorphis. followe. by s.0}ue.cing of both s.rands. e.ficacy of the.ope.ation was.grade. as.e.the. a s.cce.s.[maintaining intraocular pre.s.re.IOP) le.s.than 21 mm Hg with or without antiglaucoma me.ication], or a failure.IOP more.than 21 mm Hg with topical antiglaucoma me.ications.. Re.ULTs. s.0}e. nove. mutations.out of a total of 15 diffe.e.t mutations.we.e.found in the.CYP1B1 ge.e. of 14 patie.ts.48.2%). The.pre.e.ce.of CYP1B1 ge.e.mutations.did not corre.ate.with the.failure.of the.s.rge.y(P=0.156, odds.ratio=3.611, 95%CI, 0.56 to 22.89); while.the.pos.tive.cons.nguinity s.rongly corre.ate. with failure.of the.initial proce.ure.P=0.016, odds.ratio=11.25, 95%CI, 1.57 to 80.30). Howe.e., the.Kaplan-Me.e. s.rvival analys.s.re.e.le. a s.gnificantly lowe. time.of IOP control in the.s.bgroup with mutations.in CYP1B1 ve.s.s.the.conge.ital primary glaucoma group without mutations.log rank te.t, P=0.015).CONCLUs.ON: s.0}e. ne. CYP1B1 mutations.are.ide.tifie. in e.yptian patie.ts. Patie.ts.harboring confirme. mutations.s.ffe.e. from e.rly failure.of the.initial s.rge.y. CYP1B1 mutations.could be.cons.de.e. as.a prognos.ic factor for s.rge.y in primary conge.ital glaucoma.
