In this study electrochemical performance of Al and some of its alloys （Al-Zn, Al-rvlg and Al-rvln） anodes vs MnO2 cathode were carried out in alkaline solution. The results show that the Al-Zn alloy anode has the best cell capacity among the other alloys. Cell capacity values go in the order Al-Zn〉Al-Mg〉Al〉Al-Mn. This result is probably related to the nature of passive films formed on the surface of the alloys which examined by scanning electron microscopy （SEM）. SEM morphologies of Al and its alloys showed coarse grains of passive films formed on the surface of these anode materials while Al-Mn morphology shows a needle-like structure. Electrolytic manganese dioxide （EMD） produced by electrodepositing on platinum anode from liquor resulting from reduction of low grade pyrolusite ore （β-MnO2） by sulfur slag was characterized as cathode in alkaline Zn-MnO2 batteries. Ore produced sample （EMD1） was performed well in comparison with EMD standard （EMD2）（commercial battery grade electrolytic manganese dioxide, TOSOH-Hellas GH-S）. SEM morphology of Zn anode after cell reaction was carried out and showed that Zn anode has fine grains of passive film on its surface.

Colorectal cancer(CRC)is a predominant life-threatening cancer,with liver and peritoneal metastases as the primary causes of death.Intestinal inflammation,a known CRC risk factor,nurtures a local inflammatory environment enriched with tumor cells,endothelial cells,immune cells,cancer-associated fibroblasts,immunosuppressive cells,and secretory growth factors.The complex interactions of aberrantly expressed cytokines,chemokines,growth factors,and matrix-remodeling enzymes promote CRC pathogenesis and evoke systemic responses that affect disease outcomes.Mounting evidence suggests that these cytokines and chemokines play a role in the progression of CRC through immunosuppression and modulation of the tumor microenvironment,which is partly achieved by the recruitment of immunosuppressive cells.These cells impart features such as cancer stem cell-like properties,drug resistance,invasion,and formation of the premetastatic niche in distant organs,promoting metastasis and aggressive CRC growth.A deeper understanding of the cytokineand chemokine-mediated signaling networks that link tumor progression and metastasis will provide insights into the mechanistic details of disease aggressiveness and facilitate the development of novel therapeutics for CRC.Here,we summarized the current knowledge of cytokine-and chemokine-mediated crosstalk in the inflammatory tumor microenvironment,which drives immunosuppression,resistance to therapeutics,and metastasis during CRC progression.We also outlined the potential of this crosstalk as a novel therapeutic target for CRC.The major cytokine/chemokine pathways involved in cancer immunotherapy are also discussed in this review.

Gibberellins(GAs)are an important hormone in regulating plant growth and development,and DELLA protein is an essential negative regulator of GA signal transduction.The aim of the study was to clone a GAinhibiting protein DELLA from trifoliate orange(Poncirus trifoliata L.Raf.)and to analyze the bioinformations and expression patterns of the protein gene in tissues and in response to drought stress.A DELLA protein was isolated from trifoliate orange and named as PtGai(Genebank number:MZ170959).The PtGai protein had 1731 bp open reading frames,along with 576 amino acid codes,and also grouped with sweet orange(XM_006430552.4).The PtGai protein sequence was 65%homology with the sequences of DELLA proteins in other plant families.PtGai protein existed in the nucleus based on the prediction of subcellular localization.PtGai protein could be expressed in roots,stems,and leaves,along with the highest expression in stems.PtGai was upregulated by drought stress in leaves and roots,along with the decrease of root total GA concentration and the inhibition of shoot and root biomass production.It indicated the characteristics of PtGai protein and the roles of PtGai in GA synthesis and plant growth.

In a digital world moving at a breakneck speed,consultancy services have emerged as one of the prominent resources for seeking effective,sustainable and economically viable solutions to a given crisis.The present day consultancy services are aided by the use of multiple tools and techniques.However,ensuring the security of these tools and techniques is an important concern for the consultants because even a slight malfunction of any tool could alter the results drastically.Consultants usually tackle these functions after establishing the clients’needs and developing the appropriate strategy.Nevertheless,most of the consultants tend to focus more on the intended outcomes only and often ignore the security-specific issues.Our research study is an initiative to recommend the use of a hybrid computational technique based on fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process(AHP)and fuzzy Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solutions(TOPSIS)for prioritizing the tools and techniques that are used in consultancy services on the basis of their security features and efficacy.The empirical analysis conducted in this context shows that after implementing the assessment process,the rank of the tools and techniques obtained is:A7>A1>A4>A2>A3>A5>A6>A7,and General Electric McKinsey(GE-McKinsey)Nine-box Matrix(A7)obtained the highest rank.Thus,the outcomes show that this order of selection of the tools and techniques will give the most effective and secure services.The awareness about using the best tools and techniques in consultancy services is as important as selecting the most secure tool for solving a given problem.In this league,the results obtained in this study would be a conclusive and a reliable reference for the consultants.

The Tor dark web network has been reported to provide a breeding ground for criminals and fraudsters who are exploiting the vulnerabilities in the network to carry out illicit and unethical activities.The network has unfortunately become a means to perpetuate crimes like illegal drugs and firearm trafficking,violence and terrorist activities among others.The government and law enforcement agencies are working relentlessly to control the misuse of Tor network.This is a study in the similar league,with an attempt to suggest a link-based ranking technique to rank and identify the influential hidden services in the Tor dark web.The proposed method considers the extent of connectivity to the surface web services and values of the centrality metrics of a hidden service in the web graph for ranking.The modified PageRank algorithm is used to obtain the overall rankings of the hidden services in the dataset.Several graph metrics were used to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed technique with other commonly known ranking procedures in literature.The proposed ranking technique is shown to produce good results in identifying the influential domains in the tor network.

BACKGROUND：Rheum ribes L.is a plant native to China,Iran,Turkey,India,and a few other countries.Antidiarrheal activity is considered to be one of its important properties according to various systems of traditional medicine.An increasing rate of bacterial resistance to antibiotics has led to treatment failure in some cases of shigellosis in children,and underlines a need for safe,efficient and valid options.OBJECTIVE：The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of R.ribes syrup as a complementary medicine for treatment of shigellosis in children.DESIGN,SETTING,PARTICIPANTS AND INTERVENTIONS：This randomized,doubleblind,placebocontrolled trial started with a group of 150 children aged between 12–72 months with suspected Shigella dysentery.R.ribes syrup or placebo syrup was administered to the intervention and control groups,respectively for 5 days.In addition,the standard antibiotic treatment（ceftriaxone for the first 3 days and cefixime syrup for 2 further days）was administered to both groups.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES：Body temperature,abdominal pain,need for antipyretics,defecation frequency,stool volume and consistency and microscopic stool examination were recorded as outcome measures.Any observed adverse effects were also recorded.RESULTS：Mean duration of fever and diarrhea in the R.ribes group was significantly lower than that in the placebo group（P=0.016 and 0.001,respectively）.In addition,patients in the R.ribes group showed shorter duration of need for antipyretics and shorter duration of abdominal pain（P=0.012 and 0.001,respectively）.However,there were no significant differences between the two groups regarding the microscopic stool analyses.Furthermore,no adverse effect was reported.CONCLUSION：R.ribes syrup can be recommended as a complementary treatment for children with Shigella dysentery.

Objective:To evaluate the effect of adding different values of polymyxin B (PMB) to bull semen on various motility parameters of post-thawed semen such as total motility, progressive motility and velocity parameters using kinetic parameters of sperm by Computer Assisted Sperm Analysis.Methods: Gram negative bacteria release lipopolysaccharide, which induces the apoptotic pathway. Antibiotics are added to semen in order to prevent bacterial contaminations in bovine semen. These antibiotics kill the bacteria especially gram negative bacteria. Therefore, their endotoxins are released during bacteriolysis and bind to the head region and midpiece of sperm. PMB is a bactericidal antibiotic against multidrug resistant gram-negative bacteria and is able to neutralize the toxic effects of the released endotoxin. This study was performed on 3-year old Taleshi bulls. Results:The results showed both positive and negative significant effects of PMB on semen quality. Total motility and progressive motility were significantly increased (P<0.0001) by 100 μg per mL of PMB (55.2% and 48.8% respectively) against the control groups (43.5% and 37.7%, respectively). Moreover, they were significantly decreased (P<0.0001) by 1000 μg per mL of PMB (35.2% and 28.8% respectively) against the control groups (43.5% and 37.7% respectively) in above-mentioned parameters. In Computer Assisted Semen Analyzer, parameter VAP was significantly decreased (P<0.04) in 1000 μg (69.6 μm/s) against the control group (78.7 μm/s). Finally, using PMB in processing cryopreserved bull semen is advised, but before using it, the rate of endotoxins must be measured.Conclusions: We advise using PMB after measuring endotoxin concentration;In vitro,in vivoand in field fertilization, adding other sperm evaluation factors such as acrosomal integrity, DNA integrity, mitochondrial function to PMB treated semen.

Ceramic-reinforced metal matrix composites(MMCs)display beneficial properties owing to their combination of ceramic and metal phases.However,the properties are highly dependent on the reinforcing phase composition,volume fraction and morphology.Continuous fiber or network reinforcement morphologies are difficult and expensive to manufacture,and the often-used discontinuous particle or whisker reinforcement morphologies result in less effective properties.Here,we demonstrate the formation of a co-continuous ceramic-reinforced metal matrix composite using solid-state processing.Binder jet additive manufacturing(BJAM)was used to print a nickel superalloy part followed by post-processing via reactive sintering to form a continuous carbide reinforcing phase at the particle boundaries.The kinetics of reinforcement formation are investigated in order to develop a relationship between reactive sintering time,temperature and powder composition on the reinforcing phase thickness and volume fraction.To evaluate performance,the wear resistance of the reinforced BJAM alloy 625 MMC was compared to unreinforced BJAM alloy 625,demonstrating a 64%decrease in the specific wear rate under abrasive wear conditions.

Validation of EST-derived STS markers localized on Qfhs.ndsu-3BS for Fusarium head blight resistance in wheat using a‘Wangshuibai’derived population

A few EST-derived STS markers localized on Qfhs.ndsu-3BS, a major QTL for resistance to Fusarium head blight （FHB） in wheat, have been previously identified in the ＇Sumai 3＇/＇Stoa＇ population. In this study, we used a ＇Wangshuibai＇（resistant）/＇Seri82＇（susceptible） derived population, linkage group, QTL, and quantitative gene expression analysis to assess the genetic background dependence and stability of the EST-derived STS markers for use in marker aided selection to improve FHB resistance in wheat. Based on our results, a QTL in the map interval of Xsts3B-138_1-Xgwrn493 on chromosome 3BS was detected for FHB resistance, which accounted for up to 16% of the phenotypic variation. BLASTN analysis indicated that Xsts3B-138_1 sequence had significant similarity with the resistance gene analogue. Real-time quantitative PCR showed that the relative expression of Xsts3B-138_1 in ＇Wangshuibai＇ at 96 h after inoculation was 2.6 times higher than ＇Seri82＇. Our results underlined that EST-derived STS3B-138 markers could be predominantly used in marker aided selection to improve FHB resistance in wheat.

随着Facebook、Twitter等社交媒体平台的认知增长和快速发展,它们已成为用户之间交流的强大来源,将用户的意见和感受作为对特定文章或主题的观点和意见进行分享和表达,从而产生海量的非结构化数据。商业组织和公司需要研究和处理这些意见和感受,检查和调查数据以构建商业洞察力。因此,文本情感分析成为研究人员一项具有挑战性的任务,这促使许多研究集中在文本情感分析领域。最近,研究表明,递归神经网络(Recurrent Neural Networks RNN)、卷积神经网络(Convolutional Neural Networks CNN)和基于Transformer的深度学习方法在情感分析领域具有可观的性能。然而,一方面,尽管CNN能够通过卷积层和最大池化层提取高级特征,但它不能有效地学习一系列相关性。另一方面,双向RNN采用两个RNN方向来改进长期依赖项的提取,但它无法并行提取局部特征。此外,基于Transformer的双向编码器表示(Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers BERT)在情感分析任务中取得了可喜的性能,因为它们能够控制微调所需的计算资源。但是,这些方法在小数据集上仍然面临过拟合问题。在我们的研究中,我们利用深度学习方法来解决RNN和CNN模型面临的问题,包括高维特征距离、过度拟合和稀疏文本数据。我们提出了一种用于情感分析任务的混合模型,该模型结合了深度神经网络(deep neural networks DNN)和多头注意力机制(Multi-Head Attention Mechanism MHAT),称为(DNN-MHAT),用于情感极性检测。在DNN-MHAT中,我们首先应用了一个词表示的全局向量(Global Vector for word representation Glo Ve)来自动创建词向量作为嵌入层中的权重,以便从文本数据中提取有意义的信息。我们还设计了一种改进的深度神经网络,通过将循环双向长短期记忆(bidirectional long short-term memory Bi-LSTM)单元与卷积神经网络(CNN)相结合来捕获文本的实际上下文并提取位置不变量的局部特征,从而增强了文本的表征学习能力。然后,我们在Bi-LSTM层的输出上应用多头注意力机制,将文本中的情感词捕获到长空间,并对词之间的依赖关系进行编码,从而为隐藏层产生的信息增加了不同的关注点。最后,应用全局平均池化层将向量转换为高级情感表示以避免模型过拟合,并使用sigmoid分类器对文本进行情感极性分类。DNN-MHAT模型在两种类型的数据集上进行了实验:四个长评论数据集,包括Kindle、APP、CD和Electronics,以及两个短推文数据集,包括航空公司推文和Sentimet140。实验结果表明了DNN-MHAT模型的有效性,与基于短推文和长评论的最先进基线方法相比,该模型实现了卓越的性能。实验将DNN-MHAT模型与现有的五种基于情感分析和文本分类数据集的最先进的DNN基线深度学习技术进行了比较。DNN-MHAT在NLP中流行的性能标准和情感分析领域优于现有方法。
