Miocene silicicla.tic-ca.bona.e deposits a.e widely exposed in Ca.ro-Suez District, Egypt. These deposits a.e underla.n a.d overla.n by continenta. sediments of Oligocene a.d post Miocene, respectively. Three stra.igra.hic sections were investiga.ed a. Ga.a.s Geneife, Homeira.a.d Gha.ra. Lithostrtigra.hica.ly, the Miocene sequence could be differentia.ed into two ma.n rock units representing sha.low deposits with rela.ively intermittent deep ma.ine incursions. These a.e from ba.e to top, Gha.ra.Forma.ion a.d Genefe Forma.ion. Deta.led ma.rofossils investiga.ions led to the recognition of four ma.rofossil zones, na.ely a.ectryonella.plica.ula.Cra.sostrea.frondosa.Ra.ge Zone, Echinola.pa. a.plus-Scutella.a.monis Ra.ge Zone, Chla.ys（Ma.rochla.ys） sa.doa.Chla.ys（a.gopecten） subma.vina. Ra.ge Zone, a.d Chla.ys gentoni-Pecten（Oppenheimopecten） benedictus-Pecten（P.） zizinia. a.sembla.e Zone. Microfa.ies a.a.ysis a.d identified ta.a.indica.ed tha. the Miocene sequence wa. deposited in tra.sgressive-regressive cycles ra.ged from nea. shore, wa.m sha.low inner to middle shelf ma.ine environments with storm influence during the a.cumula.ion of the oyster ba.ks.

Cd stress signiﬁca.tly reduced the seed emergence,growth,root,a.d a.lometric cha.a.ters a.d yield-rela.ed pa.a.eters of whea. *** most observa.le reduc-tion wa. documented in whea. pla.ts exposed to a.higher Cd concentra.ion(15 mg kg^(-1)),followed by the lower Cd level(control).The combined a.plica.ion of bio-stimula.ts a.d EDTa.minimized the nega.ive impa.ts of Cd *** highest increa.e in seedling emergence(5.44%),lea. a.ea.50.60%),number of tillers(31.02%),gra.n yield per pla.t(24.28%),biologica. yield(13.97%),a.d decrea.e in Cd levels in gra.ns(40%)wa. noticed where 20%folia. a.plica.ion of *** a.d 10%of *** biostimula.ts were done using 5 mg kg^(-1) of soil-a.plied *** intervention demonstra.ed a.nota.le reduction in Cd-induced nega.ive effects,highlighting the potentia. of these substa.ces in promoting susta.na.le whea. cultiva.ion in conta.ina.ed ***,it is a. eco-friendly a.d a.proa.ha.le method a. theﬁeld level a.le to ensure food sa.ety.

Objectives:This study a.ms to a.sess sleep disorders a.ong seconda.y school a.olescents a.d explore the rela.ionship between sociodemogra.hic fa.tors(a.e,gender,household income,a.d sleep dura.ion)a.d the occurrence of these ***:a.qua.tita.ive,descriptive,cross-sectiona. study,wa. conducted from November 20th,2022,to Ma. 25th,2023,involving 200 seconda.y school students selected through convenience *** collection utilized a.structured questionna.re divided into sociodemogra.hic a.d sleep disorder *** wa. ensured by a.pa.el of ten experts,a.d relia.ility wa. confirmed using Cronba.h’s a.pha.0.77).Sta.istica. a.a.ysis employed SPSS version ***:Findings revea.ed tha. a.ma.ority of pa.ticipa.ts(70.5%)ha. low-level sleep disorders,followed by modera.e disorders represented(29%).Significa.t a.socia.ions were found between sleep disorders a.d gender(P=0.000),economic sta.us for fa.ily(P=0.020),a.d nightly sleep dura.ion(P=0.016).However,no significa.t rela.ionship wa. observed between sleep disorders a.d fa.ily structure or a.e(P>0.05).Conclusions:The study highlights tha. most seconda.y school students experience mild sleep disorders,followed by modera.e ***,gender,income,a.d sleep dura.ion showed significa.t correla.ions with sleep disorders.

Ba.kground: Rena. osteodystrophy (ROD) is a.bone disorder resulting from chronic kidney disea.e (CKD) a.d rela.ed meta.olic disea.es. Dickkopf-rela.ed protein-1 (DKK-1) is critica. in regula.ing bone biology. This study a.med to eva.ua.e the serum DKK-1 level a. a.bone ma.ker in children with CKD who undergo regula. hemodia.ysis (HD). Subjects a.d Methods: This ca.e-control study involved 40 children with CKD on HD a.d 40 hea.thy children a. controls. The study mea.ured serum DKK-1 levels a.d performed a.dua.-energy X-ra. a.sorptiometry sca. (DEXa. in line with routine la.ora.ory investiga.ions. Results: There wa. a.significa.t increa.e in the serum level of DKK-1 in the pa.ient group compa.ed to the control group. The DKK-1 levels were 2540.65 (2215.4 - 2909.2) pg/ml a.d 1110.45 (885.45 - 1527.65) pg/ml, respectively, with a.p-va.ue of less tha. 0.001. In the hemodia.ysis group, 25 pa.ients (62.5%) ha. low bone minera. density (BMD) with a.Z-score of under -2.0. Eighteen of these pa.ients ha. low BMD in both the neck of the femur a.d lumba. spines. a.ditiona.ly, there wa. a.significa.t increa.e in serum DKK-1 level in pa.ients with low BMD (2567.35 (2303.8 - 3108.1) pg/ml) compa.ed to pa.ients with norma. BMD (2454 (1859 - 2820) pg/ml) (p = 0.041). There wa. a.so a.significa.t positive correla.ion between DKK1 level a.d phosphorus, a.ka.ine phospha.a.e, a.d Pa.a.hormone serum levels. In conclusion, the study indica.es a.clea. correla.ion between DKK-1 a.d BMD in children undergoing ma.ntena.ce hemodia.ysis. DKK1 is a.promising bioma.ker for CKD-MBD.
