Eco-toxicity and health risk assessment of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in surface sediments of Burullus Lake in Egypt

Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAhs)are ubiquitous environmental contaminants of growing concern due to their potential ecological and human health *** study presents a comprehensive assessment of PAhs contamination in the surface sediments of Burullus Lake,a vital and second largest delta lake in *** aim was to evaluate the eco-toxicity and potential health risks associated with the presence of th.se *** seven sediment samples were collected from various drains in the southern part of Burullus *** extraction method was employed to extract PAhs(16PAhs)from the sediment ***,target compounds were located using *** results showed that samples contained PAhs levels ranging from 0.038×10^(-6)to 0.459×10^(-6),which is considered heavily polluted by the European standard for PAhs ***,there was no apparent source of PAhs in the elKh.shah drain or the Brinbal Canal,as hPLC found none of the *** most prevalent compound in sediment samples along the study area was *** diagnostic indices in the present study indicated that the hydrocarbons in the region originated from pyrolytic and man-made sources along the drains of Burullus *** principal component analysis(PCA)and diagnostic ratios revealed that coal combustion and pyrolytic sources were responsible for the PAhs contamination in the surface *** non-carcinogenic risk(hI),which is the product of the h.s for the adult and child populations,respectively,was *** values under 1,therefore,demonstrated that they had no carcinogenic effects on human *** and MEQs in the sediments of Burullus Lake do not have a cancer-causing impact on *** the safety of nearby wildlife,aquatic life,and people,all activities that raise petroleum hydrocarbon levels in Burullus Lake must be adequately regulated and *** to the ecological risk assessment,there is little chance that PAhs will be found

Recently,nano-systems based on molecular communications via diffusion(MCvD)have been implemented in a variety of nanomedical applications,most notably in targeted drug delivery system(TDDs)***,because the MCvD is unreliable and there exists molecular noise and inter symbol interference(IsI),cooperative nano-relays can acquire the reliability for drug delivery to targeted diseased cells,especially if the separation distance between the nano transmitter and nano receiver is *** th.s work,we propose an approach for optimizing the performance of the nano system using cooperative molecular communications with a nano relay scheme,while accounting for blood flow effects in terms of drift *** fractions of the molecular drug that should be allocated to the nano transmitter and nano relay positioning are computed using a collaborative optimization problem solved by theModified Central Force Optimization(MCFO)*** the previous work,the probability of bit error is expressed in a closed-form *** is used as an objective function to determine the optimal velocity of the drug molecules and the detection threshold at the nano *** simulation results show that the probability of bit error can be dramatically reduced by optimizing the drift velocity,detection threshold,location of the nano-relay in the proposed nano system,and molecular drug budget.

Objective:To evaluate the combination therapy of pyronaridine tetraph.sphate and diminazene aceturate against Babesia in vitro and in ***:Bioinformatic analysis was performed using atom pair *** in vitro combination test was performed against Babesia bovis and Theileria ***,the in vivo chemotherapeutic efficacy of pyronaridine tetraph.sphate in combination with diminazene aceturate was investigated against the growth of Babesia microti in mice using a fluorescence inhibitory ***:Pyronaridine tetraph.sphate and diminazene aceturate exhibited nearly similar molecular *** in vitro combination of pyronaridine tetraph.sphate and diminazene aceturate was synergistic on Babesia bovis and additive on Theileria *** addition,5 mg/kg pyronaridine tetraph.sphate combined with 10 mg/kg diminazene aceturate inhibited Babesia microti growth.significantly compared with th.se observed after treatment with 25 mg/kg diminazene aceturate alone from day 6 post treatment to day 12 post *** combination therapy also normalized the hematological parameters of infected ***:An oral dose of pyronaridine tetraph.sphate combined with a subcutaneous dose of diminazene aceturate inhibits Babesia in vitro and in mice,suggesting it might be a new paradigm for the treatment of babesiosis.

Agmatine ameliorates diabetes type 2-induced nephropathy in rats

A Robust Tuned Random Forest Classifier Using Randomized Grid search to Predict Coronary Artery Diseases

Coronary artery disease(CAD)is one of themost authentic cardiovascular afflictions because it is an uncommonly overwhelming heart *** breakdown of coronary cardiovascular disease is one of the principal sources of death all over *** deterioration is a challenge,especially in youthful and rural countries where there is an absence of humantrained *** heart diseases happen without apparent signs,high-level detection is *** paper proposed a robust and tuned random forest model using the randomized grid search technique to *** proposed framework increases the ability of CADpredictions by tracking down risk pointers and learning the confusing joint efforts between ***,the healthcare industry h.s a lot of data but needs to gain more *** proposed framework is used for extracting knowledge from data stores and using that knowledge to help doctors accurately and effectively diagnose heart disease(hD).We evaluated the proposed framework over two public databases,Cleveland and Framingham *** datasets were preprocessed by using a cleaning technique,a normalization technique,and an outlier detection ***,the principal component analysis(PCA)algorithm was utilized to lessen the feature dimensionality of the two ***,we used a hyperparameter tuning technique,randomized grid search,to tune a random forest(RF)machine learning(ML)*** randomized grid search.selected the best parameters and got the ideal CAD *** proposed framework was evaluated and compared with traditional *** proposed framework’s accuracy,sensitivity,precision,specificity,and f1-score were 100%.The evaluation of the proposed framework showed that it is an unrivaled perceptive outcome with tuning as opposed to other ongoing existing frameworks.

OBJECTIVE:To characterize the chemical profile of methanolic crude extract and its fractions(Ethyl acetate,n-butanol and aqueous)using liquid chromatographymass spectrometry(LC-Ms)analysis,to evaluate their biological and pharmacological properties:antioxidant(1,1-diphenyl-2-pycrylhydrazyl(DPPh),2,2′-azino-bis(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulphonic)(ABTs·+),galvinoxyle free radical scavenging,reducing power,phenanthroline andβcarotene-linoleic acid bleaching assays),enzymes inhibitory ability against several enzymes[acetylcholinesterase(AChE),buthyrylcholinesterase(BChE),urease and tyrosinase].METhODs:secondary metabolites were extracted from Tamarix africana air-dried powdered leaves by maceration,the crude extract was fractionated using different solvents with different polarities(Ethyl acetate,n-butanol and aqueous).The amount of polyphenols,flavonoids and tannins(hydrolysable and condensed)were determined using colorimetric assays.A variety of in vitro biochemical tests were carried out to assess antioxidant and oxygen radical scavenging properties using DPPh,ABTs,galvinoxyle free radical scavenging,reducing power,phenanthroline andβcarotene-linoleic acid bleaching *** effect was examined against acetylcholinesterase and buthyrylcholinesterase *** anti-urease and antityrosinase activities were performed against urease and tyrosinase enzymes *** extract’s components were identified using LC-Ms and compared to reference ***:The results indicated that Tamarix africana extracts presented a powerful antioxidant activity in all assays and exhibited a potent inhibitory effect against AChE and BChE as well as urease and tyrosinase ***-Ms analysis identified amount of eight phenolic compounds were revealed in th.s analysis;Apigenin,Diosmin,Quercetin,Quercetine-3-glycoside,Apigenin 7-O glycoside,Rutin,Neoh.speridin and Wogonin in methanolic extract and its different fractions of Tamarix africana from ***
