AIM： TO establish a cell culture system with longterm replication of hepatitis C virus （HCV） genome and expression of viral antigens in vitro. METHODS： HepG2 cell line was tested for its susceptibility to HCV by incubation with a serum from a patient with chronic hepatitis C. Cells and supernatant were harvested at various time points during the culture. Culture supernatant was tested for its ability to infect na＇ive cells. The presence of minus （antisense） RNA strand, and the detection of core and E1 antigens in cells were examined by RT-PCR and immunological techniques （flow cytometry and Western blot） respectively. RESULTS： The intracellular HCV RNA was first detected on d 3 after infection and then could be consistently detected in both cells and supernatant over a period of at least three months. The fresh cells could be infected with supernatant from cultured infected cells. Flow cytometric analysis showed surface and intracellular HCV antigen expression using in house made polyclonal antibodies （anti-core, and anti-E1）. Western blot analysis showed the expression of a cluster of immunogenic peptides at molecular weights extended between 31 and 45 kDa in an one month old culture of infected cells whereas this cluster was undetectable in uninfected HepG2 cells. CONCLUSION： HepG2 cell line is not only susceptible to HCV infection but also supports its replication in vitro. Expression of HCV structural proteins can be detected in infected HepG2 cells. These cells are also capable of shedding viral particles into culture media which in turn become infectious to uninfected cells.

The purposes of this study were to describe and compare the techniques used by elite world triple jumper and the Algerian elite team to determine the impact of distribution modality phases allowing the elite to exceeds 17-meter. Our subjects were two world elite 2009 and two Algerian national elite 2013. In the lack of new technology Modem measuring instruments kinematics or kinetics, our study based in measure of the Phase distribution ratio as measure of Stride length Jump distance. That literature review two schools, the Russian technique （which emphasizes the hop phase） and the Polish technique （which emphasizes the jump phase）. Our aims for this study are： Are there any statistically significant differences between the results of the samples in the distance achieved？ Are there any statistically significant differences between practical Ratio relative distances （world 2009-national 2013）？ Are there any statistically significant differences between Stride length phase distances （world 2009-national 2013）？ For that, we have chosen the analysis of variance and correlation of the distances achieved in each of the phases with the official distance of jumper and ＂T＂ student to compare implementation distribution of phases （hop, step and jump） with the results accuses. Based on the practices and weaknesses of elites in practice, we confirm：（1） All the samples practice the Russian technique as model in the distribution of the phase ratio; （2） The problem of our elites is in the hop phase distribution and its relationship with other phases; （3） Improve achieve horizontal vertical velocity in hop phase as solution.

Aim:The aim was to assess the impact of hyperglycemia on the recurrence of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)as well as evaluate survival after curative ablation by ***:This study,which was conducted retrospectively on 107 chronic hepatitis C(CHC)patients with 159 HCCs,was presented to the Hepatology Unit of Internal medicine Department at Tanta University *** lesions were curatively treated by radiofrequency ablation(RFA)and the surveillance of HCC recurrence was evaluated radiologically every 3 months for periods between 6 and 36 *** 107 subjects,70 were males and 37 were females,with mean age 50.4±9.4 *** patients were divided according to their glycemic state into the following three groups:Group I,which included 37 type 2 diabetic patients,with adequate maintenance of blood glucose,has 52 HCCs;Group II,which included 25 type 2 diabetic patients with inadequate maintenance of blood glucose,has 43 HCCs;and Group III,which included 45 euglycemic non-diabetic patients,has 64 ***:Our results showed that,there was signifi cant increase in recurrence rate in diabetic patients with inadequate maintenance of blood glucose(Group II)compared to those in Group I and Group III(Ped that,inadequate maintenance of blood glucose in diabetic patients was also a signifi cant predictor of poor ***:Inadequate maintenance of blood glucose in diabetic patients is a signifi cant risk factor for recurrence of HCC and for poor survival after curative RFA therapy in CHC patients.

This paper presents an optimization of shadow volume algorithm, which allow a rendering in real-time. This technique is based on previous works which makes it possible to obtain shadows in real-time, although the calculation of the silhouette requires a pretreatment of the geometry implemented on the CPU （Central Processing Unit）. By using last version of the GPU （Graphic Processing Unit）, the authors propose to implement the calculation of the silhouette on the GPU by using Geometry Shader. The authors present the step which made it possible to lead to a concrete implementation of this algorithm, the modifications which were made, as well as a comparative study of results, followed by a discussion of these results and choices of implementation.

AIM： To analyze the neutralizing activity of antibodies against E1 region of hepatitis C virus （HCV）. Specific polydonal antibody was raised via immunization of New Zealand rabbits with a synthetic peptide that had been derived from the E1 region of HCV and was shown to be highly conserved among HCV published genotypes. METHODS： Hyper-immune HCV E1 antibodies were incubated over night at 4 ℃ with serum samples positive for HCV RNA, with viral loads ranging from 615 to 3.2 million IU/mL. Treated sera were incubated with HepG2 cells for 90 min. Blocking of viral binding and entry into cells by anti E1 antibody were tested by means of RTPCR and flow cytometry. RESULTS： Direct immunostaining using FITC conjugated E1 antibody followed by Flow cytometric analysis showed reduced mean fluorescence intensity in samples pre-incubated with E1 antibody compared with untreated samples. Furthermore, 13 out of 18 positive sera （72%） showed complete inhibition of infectivity as detected by RT-PCR. CONCLUSION： In house produced E1 antibody, blocks binding and entry of HCV virion infection to target cells suggesting the involvement of this epitope in virus binding and entry. Isolation of these antibodies that block virus attachment to human cells are useful as therapeutic reagents.

Introduction: Antiphospholipid antibody syndrome is a complex autoimmune disease that can affect all systems of the body and characterized by presence of antiphospholipid antibodies that cause vascular thrombosis and pregnancy complications, kidney involvement is very common in patients with antiphos- pholipid syndrome and leads to many serious complications. Objectives: study the effect of antiphospholipid syndrome on kidneys. Data Sources: By searching and reviewing medline databases (Pub med and medscape) and all renal involvement in antiphospholipid syndrome materials available till 2019. Study Selection: All studies were independently assessed for inclusion. They were included if they fulfilled the following criteria: 1) published in English language;2) published in peer-reviewed journals;3) discussed the involvement of kidney in antiphospholipid syndrome. Data Extraction: Data from each eligible study were independently abstracted using a data collection form to capture information related to our concerned study outcomes. If the studies did not fulfill the inclusion criteria, they were excluded. Study quality assessment includes if ethical approval is gained, eligibility criteria specified, adequate information and defined assessment measured. Data Synthesis: Structured review with the results tabulated was made for comparison. Conclusions: We can conclude that kidney affection in patients with antiphos- pholipid syndrome has a wide spectrum and variation.

Plank quantum and classical string energy relations seem to be uncorrelated. This work correlated them. The relativistic energy-momentum relation has been used together with plank and de Brogglie hypothesis to prove that the wave group velocity is equal to the particle velocity in both ordinary and curved space. The plank energy relation is shown also to be related to the classical energy relation of an oscillating string. Starting from plank energy relation for n photons and performing integration, the expression of classical string energy was obtained. This means that one can treat electromagnetic waves as a collection of continuous photons having frequencies ranging from zero to w. Conversely, starting from classical string energy relation by differentiating it with respect to angular frequency, the plank quantum energy for n photons has been found. This means that the quanta results from separation of electromagnetic waves to single isolated waves. Each wave consists of n photons or quanta.

A Retrospective Study of Ovarian Sex Cord Stromal Tumors at the Egyptian National Cancer Institute

Background: Ovarian sex cord-stromal tumors are an uncommon heterogeneous group of tumors with different biological behaviors and clinico-patho- logic aspects. Aim of the Work: This study will review the clinico-pathologic aspects of sex-cord stromal ovarian tumors at the National Cancer Institute (NCI), Cairo University, Egypt, as well as their management and follow-up regarding disease free survival and overall survival. Patients and Methods: This retrospective study was conducted at the National Cancer Institute Cairo University, Egypt on female patients with ovarian sex cord stromal tumors in the period from January 2008 to December 2012 with a follow-up period of 24 to 84 months. The age of the patients, different clinical presentations, radiological findings, associated uterine bleeding (need for endometrial biopsy), pre-operative CA125 levels, surgical management done, different histopathological types, different biological behaviors, presence of ascites (and its correlation with the histopathology), Adjuvant chemotherapy (according to biological behavior and pathological type), and follow-up of non-benign cases for up to 84 months will all be documented and studied. Results: The mean age at presentation was 47.34;abdominal pain and mass were the commonest presentations 54.5% and 53.2% respectively;the main radiologic findings were a pelvic mass +/- ascites which had no correlation to the pathological type (p = 0.075). Endometrial hyperplasia and endometrial carcinoma were associated with 22% and 2.5% of cases respectively. Stages I and II represented 95% of patients with non-benign tumors (48 patients). Panhysterectomy +/- infracolic omentectomy or fertility sparing surgery were done in 70.1% and 29.9% of patients respectively. AGCTs were the commonest pathological type (49.4%). Adjuvant chemotherapy was given to 14 patients (46.7%) with non-benign tumors. 6 recurrences (20%) in 30 patients with non-benign tumors on regular follow-up were documented. The med

Laayoune and the Foum el Oued aquifers are in hydraulic communication only at the level of Oued Saguia el Hamra. The present study has accordingly made use of all the hydrogeological, hydrological, geological and geophysical data that preceded the watershed of Oued Saguia el Hamra in its downstream part. These data are by no means omplementary with the objective of having a better understanding of the boundary line between Laayoune and Foum el Oued aquifers and the origin of feeding the sources of Oued Saguia el Hamra. This study will focus only on the previous geophysical studies where a reinterpretation of electrical soundings has proved useful as a result of the recent well-logging results. It makes it possible to highlight the presence of a significant rise in the truncated marly substratum of Oued Saguia el Hamra and depressions (left and right banks) which could correspond to stream channels or depressed areas. At the level of the Wadi bed, there has been a regular immersion of the conductive level roofs from east to west towards Foum el Oued favoring the flow of wastewater from the zone and spraying the brackish water sources towards the groundwater of Foum el Oued. In the light of the reinterpretation of electric polls, plus as well as the geophysical surveys by electrical tomography and high definition made at the right and left banks of the Oueed Saguia el-Hamra, it was possible to verify the existence of dry ridge separating the two webs of Laayoune and Foum el Oued and stream channels or depressed areas of the left bank for drainage of brackish water to sources located along Oued Saguia el Hamra. The true resistivity models tomography profiles confirm the presence of the backbone at the left and right banks and the graben of the left bank for underground water drainage of the web Laayoune to sources welling the river Saguia el Hamra.
