medical image fusion is considered the best method for obtaining one image with rich details for efficient medical diagnosis and *** learning provides a high performance for several medical image analysis *** paper proposes a deep learning model for the medical image fusion *** model depends on Convolutional Neural Network(CNN).The basic idea of the proposed model is to extract features from both CT and mR ***,an additional process is executed on the extracted *** that,the fused feature map is reconstructed to obtain the resulting fused ***,the quality of the resulting fused image is enhanced by various enhancement techniques such as Histogram matching(Hm),Histogram.e.ualization(He),fuzzy technique,fuzzy type,and Contrast Limited Histogram.e.ualization(CLAHe).The performance of the proposed fusion-based CNN model is measured by various metrics of the fusion and enhancement *** realistic datasets of different modalities and diseases are tested and ***,real datasets are tested in the simulation analysis.

Due to the rapid growth of telemedicine and healthcare services,color medical image security applications have been expanded *** this paper,an asym.e.ric PTFrFT(Phase Truncated Fractional Fourier Transform)-based color medical image cryptosystem is *** different phases in the fractional Fourier and output planes are provided as deciphering ***,the ciphering keys will not be employed for the deciphering ***,the introduced PTFrFT algorithm comprises asym.e.ric ciphering and deciphering processes in contrast to the traditional optical sym.e.ric OSH(Optical Scanning Holography)and DRPe(Double Random Phase encoding)*** of the principal impacts of the introduced asym.e.ric cryptosystem is that it eliminates the onedimensionality aspects of the related sym.e.ric cryptosystems due to its remarkable feature of phase nonlinear truncation *** comparisons on various colormedical images are examined and analyzed to substantiate the cryptosystem *** achieved experimental outcomes ensure that the introduced cryptosystem is robust and *** has terrific cryptography performance compared to conventional cryptography algorithms,even in the presence of noise and severe channel attacks.

Skin diseases effectively influence all parts of *** and accurate detection of skin cancer is necessary to avoid significant *** manual detection of skin diseases by dermatologists leads to misclassification due to the same intensity and color ***,an automated system to identify these skin diseases is *** studies on skin disease classification using different techniques have been ***,previous techniques failed to identify multi-class skin disease images due to their similar *** the proposed study,a computer-aided framework for automatic skin disease detection is *** the proposed research,we collected and normalized the datasets from two databases(ISIC archive,mendeley)based on six Basal Cell Carcinoma(BCC),Actinic Keratosis(AK),Seborrheic Keratosis(SK),Nevus(N),Squamous Cell Carcinoma(SCC),and melanoma(m)common skin ***,segmentation is performed using deep Convolutional Neural Networks(CNN).Furthermore,three types of features are extracted from segmented skin lesions:ABCD rule,GLCm,and in-depth *** transfer learning is used for deep feature extraction,while a support vector machine(SVm)is used for *** results show that SVm outperformed other studies in terms of accuracy,as AK disease achieved 100%accuracy,BCC 92.7%,m 95.1%,N 97.8%,SK 93.1%,SCC 91.4%with a global accuracy of 95.4%.

The frequency-dependent dielectric dispersion of ZnO-Na2O-Al2O3-B2O3(in mol%) glass prepared by the melt quenching technique is investigated in the tem.e.ature ranges from room tem.e.ature to 420 *** relaxation has been analyzed based on the behavior of electric modulus *** analysis of the real and imaginary parts of dielectric is performed assuming the ideal Debye behavior as confirmed by Cole-Cole *** activation energy associated with the dielectric relaxation determined from the electric modulus spectra was found to be 1.863 eV,which is close to that the activation energy for ***(1.871 eV),indicating the similar nature of relaxation and conductivity.

This paper is concerned with a vital topic in image processing:color image forgery detection. The development of computing capabilitieshas led to a breakthrough in hacking and forgery attacks on signal, image,and data communicated over networks. Hence, there is an urgent need fordeveloping efficient image forgery detection algorithms. Two main types offorgery are considered in this paper: splicing and copy-move. Splicing isperformed by inserting a part of an image into another image. On the otherhand, copy-move forgery is performed by copying a part of the image intoanother position in the same image. The proposed approach for splicingdetection is based on the assumption that illumination between the originaland tam.e.ed images is different. To detect the difference between the originaland tam.e.ed images, the homomorphic transform separates the illuminationcomponent from the reflectance component. The illumination histogram.e.ivative is used for detecting the difference in illumination, and henceforgery detection is accomplished. Prior to performing the forgery detectionprocess, some pre-processing techniques, including histogram.e.ualization,histogram matching, high-pass filtering, homomorphic enhancement, andsingle image super-resolution, are introduced to reinforce the details andchanges between the original and em.e.ded sections. The proposed approachfor copy-move forgery detection is performed with the Speeded Up RobustFeatures (SURF) algorithm, which extracts feature points and feature vectors. Searching for the copied partition is accomplished through matchingwith euclidian distance and hierarchical clustering. In addition, some preprocessing methods are used with the SURF algorithm, such as histogramequalization and single-mage super-resolution. Simulation results proved thefeasibility and the robustness of the pre-processing step in homomorphicdetection and SURF detection algorithms for splicing and copy-move forgerydetection, respectively.

Optical Wireless Communication(OWC)is a new trend in communication systems to achieve large bandwidth,high bit rate,high security,fast deployment,and low *** basic idea of the OWC is to transmit data on unguided media with *** system requires multi-carrier modulation such as Orthogonal Frequency Division multiplexing(OFDm).This paper studies optical OFDm performance based on Intensity modulation with Direct Detection(Im/DD)*** system requires a non-negativity *** paper presents a framework for wireless optical OFDm system that comprises(Im/DD)with different forms,Direct Current biased Optical OFDm(DCO-OFDm),Asym.e.rically Clipped Optical OFDm(ACO-OFDm),Asym.e.rically DC-biased Optical OFDm(ADO-OFDm),and *** also considers channel coding as a tool for error control,channel equalization for reducing deterioration due to channel effects,and investigation of the turbulence *** evaluation results of the proposed framework reveal enhancement of *** performance of the Im/DD-OFDm system is investigated over different channel models such as AWGN,log-normal turbulence channel model,and ceiling bounce channel *** simulation results show that the BeR performance of the Im/DD-OFDm communication system is enhanced while the fading strength is *** results reveal also that Hamming codes,BCH codes,and convolutional codes achieve better BeR ***,two algorithms of channel estimation and equalization are considered and *** algorithms include the Least Squares(LS)and the minimum mean Square error(mm.e..The simulation results show that the mm.e.algorithm gives better BeR performance than the LS algorithm.

This study presents a technique for power frequency AC voltage *** proposed technique utilises a capacitor having a low capacitance in addition to a double wound Rogowski *** technique depends on capacitor current measurement using the double wound Rogowski *** voltage across the capacitor that connected in parallel with the system at which AC voltage is intended to be measured is *** proposed technique is experimentally evaluated by designing the measurement system and using a digital signal processing board for the reconstruction ***,the experimental results based on Rogowski coil measurements are compared with those obtained from reference ***,the obtained results validate the efficacy of the proposed technique in power frequency AC voltage measurement.

Correlation between IL28B/TLR4 genetic variants and HCC development with/without DAAs treatment in chronic HCV patients

In egypt,Sofosbuvir(SOF)in combination with Dataclasvir(DCV)is the broadly used DAAs with excellent therapeutic *** study is designed to explore the relation between IL28B/TLR4 genetic variants and each of the followings;HCC development post SOF/DCV treatment,progression to HCC in naı¨ve patients and SOF/DCV therapy outcome.A total of 493 blood samples were collected(controls(n = 70);HCV patients treated with SOF/DCV(n = 252)of whom 65 patients developed HCC,187 patients didn’t develop HCC(125 responders,62 relapsers);naı¨ve HCV patients(n = 171)had early(n = 48),late liver fibrosis(n = 21)and HCC(n = 102)).Both SNPs were genotyped using a Taqman 50 allelic discrimination *** IL28B rs12979860 SNP,the C allele was significantly correlating with the response rate more than T allele(OR 1.9,95%CI 1.29e2.9,p=0.004),while at TLR4 rs4986791 SNP,no association was found(OR 6.5,95%0.57e75.28,p = 0.09).Both SNPs couldn’t detect the probability for HCC emergence after *** naı¨ve patients,the protective alleles were detected in their lowest frequency in HCC patients(p = 0.1,for rs12979860 and,p = 0.001 for rs4986791).SOF/DCV combination improved SVR rates in HCV genotype 4a infected patients regardless of IL28B genotype,with the best rates in those lacking the T allele.
