Fluid Inclusion Characteristics of Tungsten Mineralization in the Agargaon Area of Sakoli Fold Belt, Central India

The Lower to Middle Proterozoic Sakoli fold belt in Central India forms a triangular belt with significant mineralization of strategic *** Sakoli fold belt comprises metasediments,felsic and mafic volcanics with metabasalts bounded by the gneissic-migmatitic *** last pulses of granitic activity in the form of quartz lenses intrude the metasediments and are associated with tungsten *** metasediments are intruded by the quartz veins and tourmaline breccias trending 60°N to 65°E and 60°S to 65°W and are parallel to the regional structural *** tungsten mineralization in this area is restricted to tourmaline-quartz mica greisens and quartz *** NE-SW trending foliated contact zones of chlorite mica schist and porphyritic granite/gneisses have served as easy channels for the mineralizing vapours and solutions to percolate,which formed ore bearing greisens and quartz *** mineralization is erratic and manifested by sparse and sporadic disseminations of wolframite and scheelite associated with minor amount of molybdenite and *** fluid inclusion microthermometry on mineralized quartz veins and quartz-tourmaline veins reveals the existence of a metamorphogenic aqueous-gaseous(H2O-CO2+NaCl)fluid that underwent phase separation and gave rise to gaseous(CO2)*** salinity of tungsten mineralizations varies from low to high(1.32 wt.%to 40.44 wt.%NaCl eq.).The estimated P-T range of tungsten mineralization varies from 1.2 to 2.2 kbar at 280 to 390℃.raman spectroscopy reveals that the fluid inclusions mainly contain H2O and CO2 with rarely H2S and *** isotopic data reveal that the sulfur isotope fractions from the depositsδ^34S ranging from+3.1‰to+3.35‰,suggesting the deep crustal source for the sulfur,which can be further interpreted as a single(magmatic)supply of sulfur during magmatic-hydrothermal *** studies reveal the presence of chlorides such as FeCl2/MgCl2 and CaCl2,indicating t

Effect of fish oil enriched enteral diet on inflammatory bowel disease tissues in organ culture: Differential effects on ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease

AIM： To investigate the influence of fish oil enriched enteral diet on intestinal tissues taken from Crohn＇s disease （CD）, ulcerative colitis （UC） and non-inflamed non-IBD control patients in vitro. METHODS： Colonoscopic biopsies from patients with active CD （n = 4）, active UC （n = 7）, and non-inflamed non-IBD control patients （n = 4） were incubated （three dilutions of 1：20, 1：10, and 1：5） with Waymouth＇s culture medium and enteral elemental diet （EO28, SHS, Liverpool, UK） modified in the fatty acid composition with fish oil （EF） in an organ culture system for 24 h. In each experimental set-up, incubation with Waymouth＇s medium alone as control was included. Tissue viability was assessed by adding bromodeoxyuridine （BrdU） to the culture fluid and immunohistochemically staining for BrdU uptake. Cytokine ratio of IL-1ra/IL-1β （low ratio indicative of inflammation） and production of those cytokines as a percentage of medium control were assayed in the culture supernatant. RESULTS： Incubation of CD-affected tissue with EF （1：20, 1：10, and 1：5） modestly and non-significantly increased IL-1ra/IL-1β ratio as compared with medium control （CD 39.1±16.1; 26.5±7.8, 47.1±16.8 vs control 13.0±2.2）, but incubation of UC-affected tissues increased IL-1ra/IL-1β ratio significantly in all three dilutions （UC 69.1±32.2, P〈0.05; 76.1±36.4, P = 0.05; 84.5±37.3, P〈0.02; vs control 10.2±3.7）. Incubation of non-inflamed non-IBD control tissue did not increase the IL-1ra/IL-1β ratio in any dilution compared to medium control （69.3±47.0, 54.1±30.6, 79.4±34.0 vs control 76.1±37.3）. Average percentage production of IL-1β indexed against medium control was significantly less in UC after EF incubation as compared with CD （UC 24.0±4.8 vs CD 51.8±8.1; P〈0.05）. Average percentage production of IL-tra was markedly higher in UC （135.9±3.4） than that in control patients （36.5±4.3）（p〈0.0001）. Tonian–Ediacaran Tectonometamorphic History of the Sa'al Complex,Sinai(Egypt):Implications for the Tectonostratigraphic Framework of the Northern Arabian–Nubian Shield

The Sa'al Metamorphic Complex(SMC;southern Sinai)encompasses the oldest arc rocks in the Arabian–Nubian Shield,comprising two non-consanguineous metavolcanic successions(the Agramiya Group and the Post-ra'ayan Formation)separated by the metasediments of the ra'ayan *** experienced three distinct deformational events(D_(1)–D_(3))and two low-medium grade regional metamorphic events(M_1–M_(2)).The Agramiya Group and the ra'ayan Formation experienced all tectonometamorphic events(D_1–D_(3)and M_(1)–M_(2)),whereas the Post-ra'ayan volcanic rocks were only affected by the D_(3)and M_(2)events.D_(1)is an extensional event and is connected to the late Rodinia break-up(~Tonian;900–870 Ma).The M_(1)metamorphism variably affected the older Agramiya Group,the rhyolitic tuffs experiencing lower to upper greenschist facies conditions and the basic and intermediate volcanic rocks undergoing amphibolite facies *** ra'ayan Formation metasediments experienced upper greenschist to amphibolite facies *** upper greenschist facies M_(2)affected the youngest Post-ra'ayan volcanic rocks and other stratigraphic *** compressive D_(2)and D_(3)events were coeval with the accretion of dismembered terranes in the assembly of Gondwana.D_(2)can be linked to the Tonian–Cryogenian arc-arc assembly(~880–760 Ma;in Elat and Sinai),whereas D_(3)and the accompanying M_(2)is constrained to 622–600 Ma(Ediacaran).

Comparative Study of radiological Changes in Hands and Feet in Patients Suffering from Early Rheumatoid Arthritis by Power Doppler Ultrasound and Direct Digital radiography

Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic multisystem disease of unknown cause. The characteristic feature of ra is persistent inflammatory synovitis. The natural history of disease is such that the early months of the disease are critical period during which reversible joint damage occurs. So early diagnosis of ra and appropriate drug application is the only way to save a patient from this crippling disease. In India, the cost of investigations is a significant factor for most of the patients. Ultrasonography or Power Doppler Ultra Sound (PDUS) has the advantage of being economic in spite of its sensitivity in assessing both inflammatory and destructive changes. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the diagnostic efficiency of PDUS in early rheumatoid arthritis. The study was performed with the patients attending Rheumatology Clinic. A total number of 106 patients of clinically suspected rheumatoid arthritis were studied as per selection criteria. radiological examinations of hands were done by digital radiography and PDUS in a group of 53 patients, assessment of foot changes by PDUS and Digital radiography were done in another similar group of 53 patients. Final diagnosis by ACR EULAR-2010 criteria is done for all the patients. The comparative study reveals that synovial vascularity as demonstrated by PDUS is much more effective in diagnosing early rheumatoid arthritis, both in hand and in feet than digital radiograph. PDUS of feet may yield earlier and better findings than hands, which is conventionally used in patients suffering from early rheumatoid arthritis.

Correlation of Serum Uric Acid with Disease Activity and C-Reactive Protein in Patients Suffering from Rheumatoid Arthritis

Rheumatoid Arthritis is characterized by increased cardiovascular morbidity and mortality that cannot be fully explained by the presence of classical cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk factors suggesting that novel risk factors may play a role. Evidence accumulated over the past decade points that uric acid (UA) may be one such novel CVD risk factor in rheumatoid arthritis, and therefore one may hypothesize that UA may contribute to the increased CVD burden in ra. The current study attempted to correlate the levels of clinical disease activity index (CDAI), high sensitivity C reactive protein (hs-CRP) and uric acid in DMARD naive non-diabetic, non-hypertensive, euthyroid patients with normal lipid profile suffering from early and established Rheumatoid Arthritis before and after 3 months of DMARD therapy. It showed a positive and significant correlation among uric acid levels and CDAI and hs-CRP levels at diagnosis. There was significant reduction in the levels of CDAI, hs-CRP and UA after 3 months of DMARD therapy with significant correlation among the changes in the 3 parameters and the change in Uric Acid also correlated with the levels of CDAI and hs-CRP at diagnosis. We propose to measure uric acid both as acute phase reactant and marker for cardiovascular morbidity in patients suffering from Rheumatoid Arthritis.

This is a continuity of a series of taxonomic papers where materials are examined,described and novel combinations are proposed where necessary to improve our traditional species concepts and provide updates on their *** addition to extensive morphological descriptions and appropriate asexual and sexual connections,DNA sequence data are also analysed from concatenated datasets(rDNA,TEF-a,RBP2 and b-Tubulin)to infer phylogenetic relationships and substantiate systematic position of taxa within appropriate *** new species or combinations are being proposed,we apply an integrative approach(morphological and molecular data as well as ecological features wherever applicable).Notes on 125 fungal taxa are compiled in this paper,including eight new genera,101 new species,two new combinations,one neotype,four reference specimens,new host or distribution records for eight species and one alternative *** new genera introduced in this paper are Alloarthopyrenia,Arundellina,Camarosporioides,Neomassaria,Neomassarina,Neotruncatella,Paracapsulospora and *** new species are Alfaria spartii,Alloarthopyrenia italica,Anthostomella ravenna,***,Arthrinium paraphaeospermum,Arundellina typhae,Aspergillus koreanus,Asterina cynometrae,Bertiella ellipsoidea,Blastophorum aquaticum,Cainia globosa,Camarosporioides phragmitis,Ceramothyrium menglunense,Chaetosphaeronema achilleae,Chlamydotubeufia helicospora,Ciliochorella phanericola,Clavulinopsis aurantiaca,Colletotrichum insertae,Comoclathris italica,Coronophora myricoides,Cortinarius fulvescentoideus,***,***,***,Cunninghamella gigacellularis,Cyathus pyristriatus,Cytospora cotini,Dematiopleospora alliariae,***,Diaporthe aseana,***,Distoseptispora multiseptata,***,***,Dothiora buxi,Emericellopsis persica,Gloniopsis calami,Helicoma guttulatum,Helvella floriforma,***,Hermatomyces subiculosa,Ju
