Applying indocyanine green(ICG)fluorescence in surgery has created a new dimension of navigation surgery to advance in various *** research in this field is nascent and fragmented,necessitating academic efforts to gain a comprehensive *** present review aims to integrate diverse perspectives and recent advances in its application in gastrointestinal *** relevant articles were selected by using the appropriate keyword search in *** angiography and cholangiography property of ICG fluorescence is helpful in various hepatobiliary *** gastroesophageal and colorectal surgery,the lymphangiography and angiography property of ICG is applied to evaluate bowel vascularity and guide *** lack of objective parameters to assess ICG fluorescence has been the primary limitation when ICG is used to evaluate bowel *** optimum dose and timing of ICG administration need to be standardized in some new application areas in gastrointestinal *** tumor-specific ligands with fluorophores can potentially widen the fluorescence application to detect primary and metastatic gastrointestinal *** narrative review outlines prior contributions,limitations,and research opportunities for future studies across gastrointestinal *** findings of the present review would be helpful for scholars and practitioners to explore and progress in this exciting domain of gastrointestinal surgery.

Influence of wellhead pressure and water cut in the optimization of oil production from gas lifted wells

The worldwide increase in energy demand necessitates the development and optimization of marginal oil fields for *** this regard,effective and economic production of fluids are heavily relied upon the artificial lift techniques as the reservoir's natural energy may not be able to deliver the fluids to the *** lift is a widely practised and successful method that is suitable for rejuvenating the oil production from such *** this study,the influence of critical parameters like water cut,wellhead pressure(WHP)and gas-lift gas injection rate on the output from a gas lifted well was analysed.A significant reduction in the oil production was observed with the increase in water *** a fixed gas injection rate of 1 Mmscf/day,the production decreased by 26.90%when the water cut increased from 15%to 30%and further by 50.80%when the water cut reached 45%.An increase in the gas injection rate from 1 Mmscf/day to 8 Mmscf/day resulted in an increase in the production rate by 29.21%,40.48%and 56.56%for 15%,30%,and 45%water cut conditions,*** was observed that there is a drop in the oil rate with the increase in WHP for a constant gas injection *** increase in the WHP from 100 psi to 300 psi resulted in a drop in the oil production rate by 11.01%,11.78%and 12.74%for 15%,30%and 45%water cut conditions,*** study sheds light on the significance of optimizing the critical parameters to maximize the production from a well,with severely affected productivity,using a continuous gas lift system.

Glacier shrinkage is a globally occurring ***-resolution change detection based on frequent mapping and monitoring of high-altitude glaciers is necessary to precisely evaluate future water availability and to understand glacier evolution under different climatic scenarios in the Hindukush-Karakoram-Himalayan(HKH)*** also holds true for the Bhaga basin of the western *** study investigates glacier and glacier lake changes in the Bhaga basin,over the last five decades based on satellite imagery including Corona KH4(1971),Landsat 7 Enhanced Thematic Mapper Plus(ETM+;2000),Linear Imaging Self-Scanning Sensor(LISS Ⅳ;2013),and Sentinel 2(2020).Regional temperature and precipitation trends were evaluated from gridded climatic datasets(1900–2020).In the Bhaga basin 306 glaciers(>0.2 km^(2))were mapped with a total area of 360.3±4.0 km^(2),of which 55.7±0.6 km^(2)was covered with debris in *** total glacier covered area decreased by∼8.2±1.5%(0.16±0.03%yr-1)during the entire observation period 1971–2020,with noticeable heterogeneity between tributary *** the past two decades(2000–2020),the deglaciation rate has increased significantly(0.25%yr-1)compared to the previous decades(1971–2000;0.12%yr-1).Glacier lake area increased by 0.6±0.1 km^(2)(0.012 km^(2)yr-1)between 1971 and *** NCEP/NCAR climatic data reveals an increase of 0.63℃in temperature and a decrease of 6.39 mm in precipitation for the period 1948–*** comparison,APHRODITE data shows an increasing trend in temperature of 1.14℃between 1961 and 2015 and decreasing trend in precipitation of 31 mm between 1951 and *** NCEP/NCAR and APHRODITE data reveal significant temperature increase and precipitation decrease since the 1990s,which have probably augmented ice loss in the Bhaga basin during the early 21st century.

Coral sand is widely encountered in coastal areas of tropical and subtropical *** with silica sand,it usually exhibits weaker performance from the perspective of engineering *** improve the geomechanical performance of coral sand and meet the requirement of foundation construction in coastal areas,a novel alkali activation-based sustainable binder was *** alkaliactivated slag(AAS)binder material was composed of ground granulated blast-furnace slag(GGBS)and hydrated lime with the amendment of biochar,an agricultural waste-derived *** biocharamended AAS stabilized coral sand was subjected to a series of laboratory tests to determine its mechanical,physicochemical,and microstructural *** show that adding a moderate amount of biochar in AAS could improve soil strength,elastic modulus,and water holding capacity by up to 20%,70%,and 30%,***,the addition of biochar in AAS had a marginal effect on the sulfate resistance of the stabilized sand,especially at high biochar ***,the resistance of the AAS stabilized sand to wet-dry cycles slightly deteriorated with the addition of *** on these observations,a conceptual model showing biochar-AAS-sand interactions was proposed,in which biochar served as an internal curing agent,micro-reinforcer,and mechanically weak point.

Vehicular Adhoc Networks(VANETs)enable vehicles to act as mobile nodes that can fetch,share,and disseminate information about vehicle safety,emergency events,warning messages,and passenger ***,the continuous dissemination of information fromvehicles and their one-hop neighbor nodes,Road Side Units(RSUs),and VANET infrastructures can lead to performance degradation of VANETs in the existing hostcentric IP-based ***,Information Centric Networks(ICN)are being explored as an alternative architecture for vehicular communication to achieve robust content distribution in highly mobile,dynamic,and errorprone *** ICN-based Vehicular-IoT networks,consumer mobility is implicitly supported,but producer mobility may result in redundant data transmission and caching inefficiency at intermediate vehicular *** paper proposes an efficient redundant transmission control algorithm based on network coding to reduce data redundancy and accelerate the efficiency of information *** proposed protocol,called Network Cording Multiple Solutions Scheduling(NCMSS),is receiver-driven collaborative scheduling between requesters and information sources that uses a global parameter expectation deadline to effectively manage the transmission of encoded data packets and control the selection of information *** results for the proposed NCMSS protocol is demonstrated to analyze the performance of ICN-vehicular-IoT networks in terms of caching,data retrieval delay,and end-to-end application *** end-to-end throughput in proposed NCMSS is 22%higher(for 1024 byte data)than existing solutions whereas delay in NCMSS is reduced by 5%in comparison with existing solutions.

The complex fluid-dynamic instabilities and shock waves occurring along the surface of a two-dimensional wedge at high values of the Mach number are studied here through numerical solution of the governing ***,a regression model is implemented to determine the pressure distribution for various Mach numbers and angles of *** Mach number spans the interval from 1.5 to *** wedge angles(θ)are from 5°to 25°.The pressure ratio(P2/P1)is reported at various locations(x/L)along the 2D *** results of the numerical simulations are compared with the regression model showing good agreement.

Type 2 diabetes patients often suffer from microvascular compli-cations of *** complications,in turn,often lead to vision *** Retinopathy(DR)detection in its early stage can rescue people from long-term complications that could lead to permanent *** this study,we propose a complex deep convolutional neural network architecture with an inception module for automated diagnosis of *** proposed novel Hybrid Inception U-Net(HIUNET)comprises various inception modules connected in the U-Net fashion using activation maximization and filter map to produce the image ***,inception blocks were used to enlarge the model’s width by substituting it with primary convolutional ***,aggregation blocks were used to deepen the model to extract more compact and discriminating ***,the downsampling blocks were adopted to reduce the feature map size to decrease the learning time,and the upsam-pling blocks were used to resize the feature *** methodology ensured high prominence to lesion regions compared to the non-lesion *** performance of the proposed model was assessed on two benchmark compet-itive datasets called Asia Pacific Tele-Ophthalmology Society(APTOS)and KAGGLE,attaining accuracy rates of 95%and 92%,respectively.
