根据波尔近似,借助于波动积分方程,近似求解半无限弹性空间中平面sH波由圆形空腔和刚性包体所散射的问题。获得了空腔表面上的散射位移、作用于被包体上的剪应力、半空间表面形变以及远场位移的近似公式。在数值计算中,ka(k=波数,a=空腔或被包体的半径)取为1.0,γ(sH波的入射角,从垂向方向起算)取为π/4。

The immune response after implantation of a biomaterial may shorten the functional life of the implant,depending on the degree of the *** this study,we used a polyacrylamide-alginate(PAAm-Alg)hydrogel,which has been previously characterized as a biocompatible material and shown to enhance regeneration of cartilage in vivo,along with a graphiteenhanced hydrogel(PAAm-Alg-G)as a non-biocompatible counterpart,to evaluate macrophage attachment and polarization to pro-or anti-inflammatory *** performance of each biomaterial in the presence of fibroblasts and chondrocytes was validated by an in vitro model which demonstrated modulation of the foreign-body response.A blend of 5%gelatin methacryloyl and 0.1%methacrylated hyaluronic acid was optimized to mimic the extracellular matrix(ECM)and support cell viability,proliferation,migration,and functionality at an initial concentration of 3.25×10^(5) cells/*** PAAm-Alg-G hydrogel localized in the simulated ECM showed cytotoxic and genotoxic effects for both fibroblasts and chondrocytes,while exhibiting a proliferative effect on macrophages with elevated immune *** M1/M2 ratio was 0.73 for PAAm-Alg hydrogel but 2.64 for PAAm-Alg-G,leading to significant M1 dominance(ps expected,on day ***,loading PAAm-Alg hydrogel with transforming growth factor beta-3(TGF-β3)resulted in a slightly more balanced M1/M2 ratio of 0.87(p>0.05).The interleukin-6(IL-6)concentration secreted in the presence of PAAm-Alg hydrogel(4.58 pg/mL)significantly decreased(pse(pswitch from a pro-inflammatory to an anti-inflammatory *** immune responses by developing a simplistic yet powerful three-dimensional in vitro model provides advantages in preparing for clinical use of biomaterials.

In this paper,we define the curve rλ=r+λd at a constant distance from the edge of regression on a curve r(s)with arc length parameter s in Galilean ***,d is a non-isotropic or isotropic vector defined as a vector tightly fastened to Frenet trihedron of the curve r(s)in 3-dimensional Galilean *** build the Frenet frame{Tλ,Nλ,Bλ}of the constructed curve rλwith respect to two types of the vector d and we indicate the properties related to the curvatures of the curve rλ.Also,for the curve rλ,we give the conditions to be a circular ***,we discuss ruled surfaces of type A generated via the curve rλand the vector D which is defined as tangent of the curve rλin 3-dimensional Galilean *** constructed ruled surfaces also appear in two *** first is constructed with the curve rλ(s)=r(s)+λT(s)and the non-isotropic vector *** second is formed by the curve rλ=r(s)+λ2N+λ3B and the non-isotropic vector *** calculate the distribution parameters of the constructed ruled surfaces and we show that the ruled surfaces are ***,we provide examples and visuals to back up our research.

This study aimed to investigate the responses in rice(Oryza sativa *** 97)production and grain zinc(Zn)accumulation to combined Zn and sulfur(s)*** experiment was designed as a factorial experiment with two Zn and three s concentrations applied to the soil in a completely randomized design with four *** plants were grown under greenhouse conditions at low(0.25 mg/kg)and adequate(5 mg/kg)Zn rates combined with s(CasO_(4)·2H_(2)O)application(low,2.5 mg/kg;moderate,10 mg/kg,and adequate,50 mg/kg).The lowest rate of s at adequate soil Zn treatment increased grain yield by 68%compared with the same s rate at low Zn *** with the adequate s rate at low Zn and adequate Zn supply produced the highest grain yield,with increases of 247%and 143%compared with low s rate at low Zn and adequate Zn supply,*** concentration of grain Zn and s responded differently to the applied s rates depending on the soil Zn *** highest grain Zn concentration,reaching 41.5 mg/kg,was observed when adequate Zn was supplied at the low s ***,the adequate s rate at the low soil Zn conditions yielded the highest grain s *** total grain Zn uptake per plant showed particular increases in grain Zn yield when adequate s rates were applied,showing increases of 208%and 111%compared with low s rate under low and adequate soil Zn conditions,*** results indicated that the synergistic application of soil Zn and s improves grain production and grain Zn *** results highlight the importance of total grain Zn yield in addition to grain Zn concentration,especially under the growth conditions where grain yield shows particular increases as grain Zn is diluted due to increased grain yield by increasing s fertilization.

Chemically modified clay(CMC) was used as an adsorbent for the removal of Astrazon Golden Yellow 7GL(AGY-7GL), which is a basic dye from wastewater. For this purpose, the chemically modified clay was first characterized by determining zero point of charge(p Hzpc), and using BET, sEM and FTIR. Then effects of operational parameters on adsorption of AGY-7GL were studied in a batch system. The effect of various parameters such as contact time(0-180 min), pH(2-8), temperature(293-323 K), CMC concentration(0.075-0.5 mg/L) and initial AGY-7GL concentration(75-250 mg/L) were investigated on the adsorption efficiency and capacity adsorption of CMC for the removal of AGY-7GL. Thermodynamic and kinetic parameters were calculated from the results of the adsorption experiment. The evaluation of kinetic models shows that this data best fits the pseudo-second-order model. It is determined that the adsorption equilibrium data works very well with the nonlinear Freundlich isotherm model. Thermodynamic parameters such as ?H^0(19.0 k J/mol), ?G^0(-28.8 k J/mol) and ?s^0(0.148 k J/mol) were also determined. According to the experimental results, it is concluded that CMC could be used as an alternative low cost potential adsorbent for the removal of AGY-7GL from wastewater.

AIM:To assess the early surgical outcomes of quickchop phacoemulsification technique in patients with high ***:The data of patients with high myopia who underwent quick-chop phacoemulsification were reviewed retrospectively. There were 42 eyes of 31 patients. The axial length was more than 26 mm in all eyes. All eyes underwent quick-chop phacoemulsification surgery with the placement of an intraocular lens(IOL) in the capsular bag. Postoperative visits were performed at 1, 3d; 2wk,1mo. Early postoperative best corrected visual acuity(BCVA), preoperative and postoperative corneal endothelial cell density(ECD), central corneal thickness(CCT) and postoperative complications were *** sample t-test or Wilcoxon tests were used to compare data between preoperative and postoperative data.· REsULTs:There was no statistically significant difference between preoperative and postoperative ECD and CCT. Retinal detachment was developed in one eye at postoperative first day. There was an iris prolapsus from side port insicion.· CONCLUsION:Quick-chop phacoemulsification technique is a safe surgical technique. However we can encounter some complications in high myopic eyes due to histopathological differences. Both side port and clear corneal tunnel insicion size is crucial for preventing postoperative complications. If any persistent leakage is noticed, suture should be placed.

Toxic keratopathy associated with abuse of topical anesthetics and amniotic membrane transplantation for treatment

AIMTo evaluate the clinical findings of toxic keratopathy associated with abuse of topical anesthetics and the treatment efficacy of amniotic membrane transplantation (AMT).METHODsFifteen eyes of 10 patients with abuse of topical anesthetics were included in this study. The data collected included patients' demographic information, initial best corrected visual acuity (BCVA), clinical findings, time to AMT, duration of epithelization, additional treatments, posttreatment BCVA, and the results of psychiatric *** patients were male, with the mean age of 37.9±5.4y. The patients had received 0.5% proparacaine hydrochloride due to pain resulting from foreign bodies, such as welding flash burns and car battery explosions, for a mean of 18.2±12.4d. The mean initial BCVA of the patients was 0.069±0.100. All patients had persistent epithelial defects, stromal infiltration, ring ulcer, and corneal edema. Initially, medical treatment was attempted in all cases. Because of severe pain, persistent epithelial defects and progressing stromal thinning did not improve with medical treatment, thus, the patients underwent AMT. The mean posttreatment BCVA of the patients was 0.33±0.27. All of them, except for two patients, showed improved visual acuity. One patient underwent evisceration for corneal melting and endophthalmitis in another center, and one patient underwent evisceration for severe pain of unknown origin. All 5 patients who consented to a psychiatric examination had depression, had personality disorder, and used *** appears to be an effective method for pain relief, rapid epithelial and stromal healing; however, visual prognosis is still poor despite medical and surgical interventions.
