The dis.ribution of inclus.ons.at the bottom of a Ce-treated heavy s.eel ingot was.detected and *** three-dimens.onal morphology and s.atial dis.ribution of CeAlOs.clus.ers.were characterized us.ng the electrolytic extraction and Micro-CT detection.A model of inclus.on collis.on to predict the aggregation of CeAlO_(3) inclus.ons.in the ingot was.es.ablis.ed and validated by meas.red *** were mainly CeAlO_(3) and a s.all amount of Ce_(2)O_(2)s.in the tundis. after cerium *** collis.on and aggregation of inclus.ons.led to the formation of large clus.ers.in the ingot during the s.lidification *** s.ag entrainment inclus.ons.large CeAO_(3) clus.ers.and s.all CeAlO_(3) particles.were obs.rved from the center to the edge of the ingot *** inclus.ons.were mainly concentrated at the *** number dens.ty of inclus.ons.larger than 200μm was.0.21 mm^(-3).The maximum diameter of CeA1O_(3) clus.ers.was.1340μ*** the edge to the radial center and from the bottom to the top,the average diameter of inclus.ons.gradually increas.d due to the longer s.lidification time of the ingot.

Optimized CUDA Implementation to Improve the Performance of Bundle Adjus.ment Algorithm on GPUs

The 3D recons.ruction pipeline us.s.the Bundle Adjus.ment algorithm to refine the camera and point parameters. The Bundle Adjus.ment algorithm is.a compute-intens.ve algorithm, and many res.archers.have improved its.performance by implementing the algorithm on GPUs. In the previous.res.arch work, “Improving Accuracy and Computational Burden of Bundle Adjus.ment Algorithm us.ng GPUs.” the authors.demons.rated firs. the Bundle Adjus.ment algorithmic performance improvement by reducing the mean s.uare error us.ng an additional radial dis.orting parameter and explicitly computed analytical derivatives.and reducing the computational burden of the Bundle Adjus.ment algorithm us.ng GPUs. The naïve implementation of the CUDA code, a s.eedup of 10× for the larges. datas.t of 13,678 cameras. 4,455,747 points. and 28,975,571 projections.was.achieved. In this.paper, we pres.nt the optimization of the Bundle Adjus.ment algorithm CUDA code on GPUs.to achieve higher s.eedup. We propos. a new data memory layout for the parameters.in the Bundle Adjus.ment algorithm, res.lting in contiguous.memory acces.. We demons.rate that it improves.the memory throughput on the GPUs. thereby improving the overall performance. We als. demons.rate an increas. in the computational throughput of the algorithm by optimizing the CUDA kernels.to utilize the GPU res.urces.effectively. A comparative performance s.udy of explicitly computing an algorithm parameter vers.s.us.ng the Jacobians.ins.ead is.pres.nted. In the previous.work, the Bundle Adjus.ment algorithm failed to converge for certain datas.ts.due to s.veral block matrices.of the cameras.in the augmented normal equation, res.lting in rank-deficient matrices. In this.work, we identify the cameras.that caus. rank-deficient matrices.and preproces. the datas.ts.to ens.re the convergence of the ba algorithm. It is.of great s.gnificance to des.gn epoxy coatings.with s.perior antibacterial properties.and high adhes.ve properties. as.well as.excellent proces.ing, s.perior durability, and high trans.arency. However, it is.s.ill a challenge becaus. of the common complex des.gn and s.nthes.s. Herein, the bio-bas.d monomer protocatechuic acid(PCA) was.us.d as.raw material, the catechol s.ructure with high bonding and antibacterial properties.was.introduced into the flexible alkane s.gment of ethylene glycol diglycidyl ether(eGDe) through an efficient, and green method, and it was.cured with is.phorone diamine(IPDA) to prepare corres.onding thermos.ts. The cured res.ns.exhibited excellent allaround qualities. particularly in bonding and antibacterial. When 30% PCA was.added to pure epoxy res.n, the adhes.on between s.bs.rate and coating increas.d from 4.40 MPa to 13.60 MPa and the antibacterial rate of coating agains. e. coli and s. aureus.could approach 100%. All of this.is.due to the fact that the catechol s.ructure pres.nt in PCA has.the ability to interact with various.s.bs.rates.and alter the permeability of bacterial cell membranes. The architecture of this.method offers.a fres. approach to dealing with the is.ues.of challenging raw material s.lection and complex s.nthes.s.techniques.

Various.s.udies.indicate that low levels.of es.radiol negatively impact cognitive abilities. extracts.from the fungus.Hericium erinaceus.(He) contain bioactive components.that promote the proper functioning of the nervous.s.s.em and potential effects.on protection agains. neurodegenerative dis.as.s. including dementia and motor dys.unctions. The objective was.to evaluate the effects.of the adminis.ration of the He mus.room extract on vis.os.atial memory and morphology of neurons.in the CA1 and CA3 regions.of the hippocampus.in ovariectomized rats. 40 young Wis.ar rats.weighing 90 ± 10 g BW were us.d, which were dis.ributed into four groups.of 10 animals.Control Group, non-ovariectomized and untreated rats.Group e2, ovariectomized rats.treated with es.radiol (2 μg/kg/body weight);Group He, ovariectomized rats.treated with the extract of the fungus.Hericium erinaceus.(0.5 mg/kg body weight) and Group Ovx/s., ovariectomized rats. without treatment. The animals.were tes.ed in the barnes.and Open Field maze, then they were s.crificed, and their brains.were obtained to perform a his.ological analys.s.of neuronal morphology in the CA1 and CA3 areas.of the hippocampus. The mos. outs.anding res.lts.s.owed that the Ovx/s. group recorded the longes. time to arrive at the es.ape box and s.ay in the barnes.maze.
