Platinum is generally known as the most effective electrocatalyst for hydrogen evolution reaction because it can greatly lower the overpotential and accelerate the reaction kinetics,while its commercial potential always suffers from scarcity,high cost,low utilization,and poor durability particularly in acidic *** herein demonstrate a facile method to improve the hydrogen evolution performance of Pt-based electrocatalysts by simply decorating the-state-of-the-art and commercially available Pt/C with hydrophobic protic([DBU][NTf2])or aprotic([BMim][NTf2])ionic *** current densities of[BMim]@Pt/C and[DBU-H]@Pt/C with 10% ionic liquid at an overpotential of 40 mV are 2.81 and 4.15 times,respectively,higher than that of the pristine Pt/*** importantly,ionic liquid-decoration significantly improves the long-term stability of Pt *** 8 h of chronoamperometric measurements,[DBU-H]@Pt/C and[BMim]@Pt/C can still retain 83.7% and 78.3% of their original activity,respectively,which is much higher than that of the pristine Pt/C(24.4%).The improved performance of Pt/C decorated with ionic liquid is considered to arise from the improved proton conductivity(particularly for protic ionic liquid)and hydrophobic microenvironment created by the supported ionic liquid *** presence of ionic liquid layer not only de-coordinates H+from hydronium ions nearby the Pt nanoparticles,but it also protects Pt nanoparticles from dissolution in the acidic media.

Settlement prediction and behaviour of pile foundations in deep clayey soil deposits

A new measurement technique is used to determine the settlement of bridge pile foundation and the thickness of deep compressed soft layer. The finite element Plaxis 3D foundation program is used in the analysis with a proposed empirical equation to modify the input parameters represented by the soil compression modulus. The results of the numerical analysis using the proposed empirical equation provide insight to the settlement analysis of pile groups in soft clayey soils; consequently, the finite element Plaxis 3D program can be a useful tool for numerical analysis. The numerical analysis is modified by adjusting the calculation of compression modulus from those obtained under pressure between 100-200 kPa by which the results of the settlement are modified and thus matching the realistic measurements. The absolute error is 3 mm which is accepted compared with the last researches. This scenario can be applied for the similar problems in the theoretical applications of deep foundations.

剩余电流监测在各类用、配电系统是必不可少的一项安全措施,近些年来,随着开关器件的创新与发展,产生的剩余电流波形变得越来越复杂,并逐渐向高频化发展,给剩余电流检测技术带来了更大的挑战。传统的AC型剩余电流保护器只能对低频交流进行检测,而A型保护器能对低频交流及脉动直流进行检测,面对剩余电流高频化的趋势,两者已经不能满足电力系统保护要求,B型保护器应运而生。在非接触式微弱电流检测中,磁通门技术由于其高分辨率、高稳定性、检测频带宽等特点,逐渐成为一种主流方案。本文比较了众多电流检测方法及其原理,从中筛选出磁通门电流检测的技术方案,研究了磁通门电流检测原理,分析了电压激励、电流激励两种磁通门电流检测方法的的优点及缺点,结合设计需求,选取了电压激励型作为最终方案,建立了电压激励型磁通门电流传感器探头的模型,得到了剩余电流对传感器探头输出的影响。采用钴基非晶合金磁环ViTROVAC 6025Z作为磁芯,设计了传感器探头结构,选取0到10V,频率为1.5kHz的方波作为激励。使用STM32F103RCT6作为控制器芯片,设计了为传感器探头提供激励信号、信号调理及检测硬件电路,编写了单片机软件程序对传感器进行了闭环控制,保证传感器工作的稳定性。设计了电流检测算法,使得与传统电流检测芯片相比,可以更精确地检测剩余电流中高频率成分。所设计剩余电流传感器工作情况较好,可以对6 ma以上的直流成分及1kHz以下,30 ma以上的任意波形有效值做出检测并报警,有自校验功能,可以修正自身误差,系统工作较为稳定,具有一定实用价值。

2008年有黑人血统的奥巴马高票当选美国总统,人们将其看作美国种族关系得到改善的重要标志。但是近期出现的反对种族歧视的抗议浪潮,提醒我们美国的种族关系并没有那么简单。美国黑人经历了奴隶制、种族隔离制度和20世纪60年代的民权运动等几个重要的历史阶段,获得平等的公民权利。从族群分层的视角比较美国白人与黑人的群体性社会、经济差异,并进一步分析黑人内部出现的阶层分化及其社会影响,进而分析民权运动后新一代黑人精英和白人精英对美国种族关系的不同态度,并归纳黑人精英人士的新特征。认为黑人精英群体和黑人底层社区之间的疏离和断裂,是造成黑人底层社区民众目前状况的重要原因之一。相关现象的讨论对于我们思考中国的族群关系提供有益的启示。

An ongoing randomized,double-blind,controlled phase 2 trial was conducted to evaluate the safety and immunogenicity of a mosaic-type recombinant vaccine candidate,named NVSi-06-09,as a booster dose in subjects aged 18 years and older from the United Arab Emirates(UAE),who had administered two or three doses of inactivated vaccine BBiBP-CorV at least 6 months prior to *** participants were randomly assigned with 1:1 to receive a booster dose of NVSi-06-09 or *** primary outcomes were immunogenicity and safety against severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)Omicron variant,and the exploratory outcome was cross-immunogenicity against other circulating *** may 25 and 30,2022,516 adults received booster vaccination with 260 in NVSi-06-09 group and 256 in BBiBP-CorV *** results showed a similar safety profile between two booster groups,with low incidence of adverse reactions of grade 1 or *** immunogenicity,by day 14 post-booster,the fold rises in neutralizing antibody geometric mean titers(GMTs)from baseline elicited by NVSi-06-09 were remarkably higher than those by BBiBP-CorV against the prototype strain(19.67 vs 4.47-fold),Omicron BA.1.1(42.35 vs 3.78-fold),BA.2(25.09 vs 2.91-fold),BA.4(22.42 vs 2.69-fold),and BA.5 variants(27.06 vs 4.73-fold).Similarly,the neutralizing GMTs boosted by NVSi-06-09 against Beta and Delta variants were also 6.60-fold and 7.17-fold higher than those by *** findings indicated that a booster dose of NVSi-06-09 was well-tolerated and elicited broad-spectrum neutralizing responses against divergent SARS-CoV-2 variants,including Omicron and its sub-lineages.

V Model of E-Learning Using Gagne Nine Steps of Education

This paper presents a V-model of e-learning using the well-known Gagne nine steps for quality education. Our suggested model is based on our experience at the computer engineering departments at AL-hussein Bin Talal University, the University of Jordan and Albalqa Applied University. We applied the recommendations of the nine steps methodology to the e-learning environment. The V model suggested in this paper came up as a result of such application. Although this V model can be subject to some tuning and development in the future it proved to be highly efficient and easy to implement for the teacher and the student.
