Paleoproterozoic Bijawars of the Sonrai basin consists of(a) Sonrai(mostly carbonate carbonaceous shale and phosphatic breccia) and(b) Solda Formations(commonly chloritic and ferruginous shale) with well-developed clay-organo-rich facies,often marked with hydrothermal *** studies revealed abundance order of kaolinite> chlorite> illite> smectite;and kaolinite> illite> chlorite in clay(0.2-2.0 μm) fractions separated from the Sonrai and Solda Formations,*** understand atomic substitutions and trace elemental concentrations,clay minerals were analyzed by fusion ICPMS and *** normalized data plots show U,Th,Rb,Ba,Pb Sr,and large-ion lithophiles enrichment,whereas,Bandai sandstone and Rohini carbonate clays show HREE enrichment with asymmetrical patterns,similar to those reported from the well-established McArthur River,Cigar Lake,and Sue UTUD of *** Rohni carbonate,chondrite-normalized REE data plots revealed M shape REE patterns,ascribed to Gd-Tb-Dy-Ho tetrad effect and anomalous Y,Zr,and Hf *** to HREE incorporation in the clay inter-layers,linear and flattened REE trends were *** REE patterns associated with the highly altered chlorite and illite represent negative Eu anomaly related to the dilational nature of the uraninite structure and is suggestive of anoxic conditions.

Conventional power grids across the globe are reforming to smart power grids with cutting edge technologies in real time monitoring and control methods. Advanced real time monitoring is facilitated by incorpor- ating synchrophasor measurement units such as phasor measurement units （PMUs） to the power grid monitoring system. Several physical and economic constraints limit the deployment of PMUs in smart power grids. This paper proposes a pragmatic multi-stage simulated annealing （PMSSA） methodology for finding the optimal locations in the smart power grid for installing PMUs in conjunction with existing conventional measurement units （CMUs） to achieve a complete observability of the grid. The proposed PMSSA is much faster than the conventional simulated annealing （SA） approach as it utilizes controlled uphill and downhill movements during various stages of optimiza- tion. Moreover, the method of integrating practical phasor measurement unit （PMU） placement conditions like PMU channel limits and redundant placement can be easily handled. The efficacy of the proposed methodology has been validated through simulation studies in IEEE standard bus systems and practical regional Indian power grids.

Spinal manipulation has been an effective intervention for the management of various musculoskeletal disorders. However,the mechanisms underlying the pain modulatory effects of spinal manipulation remain elusive. Although both biomechanical and neurophysiological phenomena have been thought to play a role in the observed clinical effects of spinal manipulation, a growing number of recent studies have indicated peripheral, spinal and supraspinal mechanisms of manipulation and suggested that the improved clinical outcomes are largely of neurophysiological origin. In this article, we reviewed the relevance of various neurophysiological theories with respect to the findings of mechanistic studies that demonstrated neural responses following spinal manipulation. This article also discussed whether these neural responses are associated with the possible neurophysiological mechanisms of spinal manipulation. The body of literature reviewed herein suggested some clear neurophysiological changes following spinal manipulation, which include neural plastic changes, alteration in motor neuron excitability,increase in cortical drive and many more. However, the clinical relevance of these changes in relation to the mechanisms that underlie the effectiveness of spinal manipulation is still unclear. In addition,there were some major methodological flaws in many of the reviewed studies. Future mechanistic studies should have an appropriate study design and methodology and should plan for a long-term follow-up in order to determine the clinical significance of the neural responses evoked following spinal manipulation.

The necessity of on-time cancer detection is extremely high in the recent days as it becomes a threat to human *** skin cancer is considered as one of the dangerous diseases among other types of cancer since it causes severe health impacts on human beings and hence it is highly mandatory to detect the skin cancer in the early stage for providing adequate ***,an effective image processing approach is employed in this present study for the accurate detection of skin ***,the dermoscopy images of skin lesions are retrieved and processed by eliminating the noises with the assistance of ***,the pre-processed dermoscopy image is segmented into multiple regions by implementing cascaded Fuzzy C-Means(FCM)algorithm,which involves in improving the reliability of cancer *** A Gabor Response Co-occurrence Matrix(GRCM)is used to extract melanoma parameters in an effi-cient manner.A hybrid Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO)-Whale Optimization is then utilized for efficiently optimizing the extracted ***,the fea-tures are significantly classified with the assistance of Probabilistic Neural Net-work(PNN)classifier for classifying the stages of skin lesion in an optimal *** whole work is stimulated in MATLAB and the attained outcomes have proved that the introduced approach delivers optimal results with maximal accuracy of 97.83%.

The integration of clusters,grids,clouds,edges and other computing platforms result in contemporary technology of jungle *** novel technique has the aptitude to tackle high performance computation systems and it manages the usage of all computing platforms at a *** learning is a collaborative machine learning approach without centralized training *** proposed system effectively detects the intrusion attack without human intervention and subsequently detects anomalous deviations in device communication behavior,potentially caused by malicious adversaries and it can emerge with new and unknown *** main objective is to learn overall behavior of an intruder while performing attacks to the assumed target ***,the updated system model is send to the centralized server in jungle computing,to detect their *** learning greatly helps the machine to study the type of attack from each device and this technique paves a way to complete dominion over all malicious *** our proposed work,we have implemented an intrusion detection system that has high accuracy,low False Positive Rate(FPR)scalable,and versatile for the jungle computing *** execution time taken to complete a round is less than two seconds,with an accuracy rate of 96%.

Cloud computing is the technology that is currently used to provide users with infrastructure,platform,and software services *** this system,Platform as a Service(PaaS)offers a medium headed for a web development platform that uniformly distributes the requests and *** using Denial of service(DoS)and Distributed Denial of Service(DDoS)attacks abruptly interrupt these *** though several existing methods like signature-based,statistical anomaly-based,and stateful protocol analysis are available,they are not sufficient enough to get rid of Denial of service(DoS)and Distributed Denial of Service(DDoS)attacks and hence there is a great need for a definite *** this issue,we propose an improved hybrid algorithm which is a combination of Multivariate correlation analysis,Spearman coefficient,and mitigation *** can easily differentiate common traffic and attack *** only that,it greatly helps the network to distribute the resources only for authenticated *** effects of comparing with the normalized information have shown an extra encouraging detection accuracy of 99%for the numerous DoS attack as well as DDoS attacks.

Faults’recognition in the distribution feeders(DFs)is extremely important for improving the reliability of the distribution ***,this paper proposes a technique to identify the faults on the DF using the Stockwell Transform(ST)dependent variance feature and Hilbert transform(HT)by utilizing current *** element to element multiplication of the H-index,we compute using HT aided decompositions of current waveforms and VS-index,and calculate through ST aided decomposition of current *** utilizing the decision rules,various faults are *** faults studied in this work are line to ground,double line,double line to ground and 3-Φto *** high fault impedance,this technique is effectively ***,variations in the fault incidence angles are also utilized to test the performance of the proposed *** perform the proposed algorithm,a IEEE-13 bus system is developed in MATLAB/Simulink *** algorithm effectively classified the faults with accuracy greater than 98%.The algorithm is also successfully validated on the IEEE-34 bus test ***,the algorithm was successfully validated on the practical power system *** is recognized that the developed method performed better than the discrete Wavelet transform(DWT)and ruled decision tree based protection scheme reported in various literature.

Highly sensitive assay for the determination of therapeutic peptide desmopressin in human plasma by UPLC–MS/MS

An analytical method based on ultra-performance liquid chromatography with positive ion electrospray ionization(ESI) coupled with tandem mass spectrometry(UPLC–MS/MS) was developed and validated for the determination of therapeutic peptide desmopressin in human plasma. A desmopressin stable labeled isotope(desmopressin d_8) was used as an internal standard. Analyte and the internal standard were extracted from200 μL of human plasma via solid-phase extraction technique using Oasis WCX cartridges. The chromatographic separation was achieved on an Aquity UPLC HSS T3 column by using a gradient mixture of methanol and 1 m M ammonium formate buffer as the mobile phase. The calibration curve obtained was linear(r^2≥0.99)over the concentration range of 1.01–200 pg/m L. Method validation was performed as per FDA guidelines and the results met the acceptance criteria. The results of the intra-and inter-day precision and accuracy studies were well within the acceptable limits. The proposed method was successfully applied to pharmacokinetic studies in humans.
