＜正＞The Sham Tseng Development feasibility study was prepared in I983 and further additional studies were prepared in *** was recommended among other things that reclamation between San Miguel Brewery Site and Anglers’Beach be carried *** mid 1994 Government decided that in order to increase residential fiat supply the reclamation site in Sham Tseng should be developed for residential use if found *** duly 1996 the Territorial Development Statement Review identified that the housing supply of currently approved plans and programmes would not be adequate to meet the estimated housing demand after 2000/*** order to boost the housing supply and to achieve G/IC facilities and more open space it was decided to investigate the planning and engineering feasibility of enlarging the size of the original reclamation of 6ha up to 25ha. With this in mind consultants were appointed to look at a variety of further reclamation *** that basis new options were evaluated over a two-day value management workshop. The value management workshop objectives were formulated as a result of a strategic diagnosis meeting carried out preceding the value management study. At the conclusion of the value management workshop the objectives were both achieved and exceeded through adopting the Value Managemenf Approach. The value management process will be discussed from the perspective of the client,consultant and the facilitator.

Sustainable architecture is complex. Many aspects, differently important to many stakeholders, are to be optimized. BIM should be used for this. Building Information Modellingis a collaborative process where all stakeholders integrate and optimize their information in a digital 3D model. Sometimes it is called Green BIM. But what exactly is that？ Is the International Standard Organization IFC standard useful for this？ And is it compatible with new developments in parametric design？ Advantages and disadvantages of BIM are listed. Full parametric design is needed because it keeps the design flexible and open for changes until the end of the design process. however it is not compatible with IFC; only object parametric design is. A possible way out of this paradox could be the use of scripts that only create objects if they are not already in the BIM database and otherwise only adapt their properties. An example of parametric sustainable architectural design explains the mentioned issues.

In this article, we are interested in solving a combinatorial optimization problem, the shortest path problem in a multi-attribute graph, by the out-ranking methods. A multi-attribute graph has simultaneously qualitative and quantitative criteria. This situation gives rise to incomparable paths thus forming the Pareto front. Outranking methods in Multi-criteria Decision Making (MCDM) are the only methods that can take into account this situation (incomparability of actions). After presenting the categories of Multi-criteria Decision Making (MCDM) and the difficulties related to the problems of the shortest paths, we propose an evolutionary algorithm based on the outranking methods to solve the problem of finding “best” paths in a multi-attribute graph with non-additive criteria. Our approach is based on the exploration of induced subgraphs of the outranking graph. Properties have been established to serve as algorithmic basis. Numerical experiments have been carried out and the results presented in this article.

This study was to assess the effect of bush fires and human actions on the settlement status of the shea tree in cropping systems. It was carried out using three farming systems as treatments in which randomized plots were set. Thus, dendrometric data were collected from the shea trees. The sampling concerned twelve plots of 0.5 ha (100 m × 50 m) each and the number of adults of shea trees and that of the regeneration per plot was recorded. Forty-five (45) species divided into 20 families and 36 genera have been identified, with a decreasing number ranging from unburned fallow to fields through burnt fallow. From these results, it emerges that the young shea plants are predominant in the unburned fallow. The mapping using geographic coordinates showed that the shea tree gradually aggregated in the fallows with a higher density. Actions must then be taken to support farmers in the domestication and protection of the shea tree for its effective conservation in cropping systems.

The immobilization of soil contaminants (as one of the regulating ecosystem services) plays very important role in environment. This regulatory service prevents groundwater contamination and the entry of contaminants into the food chain. The evaluation as well as the spatial distribution of this regulatory service is important for optimal land management in a specific region. Mapping system combining input layers—slope topography, soil texture, climate region and land use (arable land, grassland)—were created for the analysis and the evaluation of potential of agroecosystem services. Filtering potential was calculated as accumulative function of soil sorption potential and potential of total content of inorganic pollutants evaluated according to The Slovak Soil Law. Calculated potential was categorised into five categories: very low, low, medium, high and very high. Four model areas were selected for the analysis of pollutant filtration, as one of the regulatory agroecosystem services, which are located in different climatic areas and different soil-ecological conditions of Slovakia. The greatest differences among model regions can be found in relation to climatic conditions, land use and diversity of soil types. The warm, dry, and lowland region has a higher potential for pollutant filtration than the moderately warm or cold region. These results are consistent with the location of the soil, its properties, processes and functions within the concept of agro-ecosystem services. Soil cleaning, the ability of the soil to immobilize the risk elements, belongs to important agroecosystem services in terms of protection of the hydrosphere and plant production from contamination. Dynamic monitoring of selected indicators of soil quality was realized in a special network of site on soil used for planting fast growing willow (Salix viminalis). Monitoring of the study site Kuchyňa (Mollic Fluvisol) is running since 2010 year. The fast-growing willow was planted on an area of about 43 hectares. Study site Kuchyňa belonged to the degraded contaminated sites, at the time of planting (the total contents of the risk elements were as follows: Cd 1.016 mg∙kg−1, Zn 199.000 mg∙kg−1, Ni 51.500 mg∙kg−1) There were positive changes in the total content of cadmium, zinc and nickel (in 2018 year), the zinc content decreased by 27% compared to 2010, the nickel content was lower by 23% and the Cd content by 57% in comparison to 2010 year, these elements have a declining trend during the monitored period. The remediation ability of the willow in relation to the risk elements was manifested by the accumulation of these elements in the wood mass and by their decrease in the soil below the limit value. The regulatory ecosystem service, the potential for the immobilisation of the risk elements, was evaluated based on the sum of the assessment of the contamination potential and the sorption potential of soil. Chloranil through condensation reaction with vicinal diamine such as diaminomaleonitrile produced heterocyclic monomer, p-benzoquinonebis[2,3-b; 2＇,3＇-b＇]pyrazine-5,6-dinitrile. The tetranitrile monomer was cyclo-tetramerised using lithium/pentanol and acetic acid affording the corresponding tetrap-benzoquinone bis[2,3-b; 2＇,3＇-b＇]pyrazinoporphyrazine）]- based network polymer （2h-Pz）. The tetranitril monomer was cyclo-tetramerised using metal salt and quinoline affording the corresponding porphyrazinato-metal II-based network polymers （M-Pz）, M = Co, Ni or Cu. Elemental analytical results, ir and NMR spectral data of the prepared molecules are consistent with their assigned formulations. Molecular masses and metal contents of the synthesized polymers proved to be of high molecular masses which confirm the efficiency of tetramerization polymerization and complexation reactions. The prepared pyrazinoporphyrazines were used as efficient catalysts for the oxidation of thiophenol and benzylthiol to their disulfides in the presence of air atmosphere. The results of oxidation of thiophenol and benzylthiol show that after 15 min the maximum yield of the corresponding disulfides reached 95%, 91%, respectively.
