The conditional moments of the charge distributions of the projectile frag-ments in 16o and 32S fragmentation behaviour are obtained by using a partition *** logarithmic correlations between the conditional moments are observed,Thecalculated results are in agreement with the experimental data of 3.7 and 200GeV N 16o-emulsion and 200 GeV/N 32S-emulsion interactions.

Background: Burnout(encompassing emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and personal accomplishment) in healthcare professionals is a major issue worldwide. Emergency medicine physicians are particularly affected, potentially impacting on quality of care and attrition from the ***: The aim of this study was to apply an attention-based training(ABT) program to reduce burnout among emergency multidisciplinary team(MDT) members from a large urban ***, setting, participants and interventions: Emergency MDT members were randomized to either a notreatment control or an intervention group. Intervention group participants engaged in a four session(4 h/session) ABT program over 7 weeks with a practice target of 20 min twice-daily. Practice adherence was measured using a smart phone application together with a wearable Charge 2 *** outcome measures: The primary outcome was a change in burnout, comprising emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and personal achievement. The secondary outcomes were changes in other psychological and biometric ***: The ABT program resulted in a significant reduction(P one week before intervention]vs T3 [follow-up at two months after intervention]) in burnout, specifically, emotional exhaustion, with an effect size(probability of superiority) of 59%. Similar reductions were observed for stress(P ore, ABT group participants demonstrated significant improvements in heart rate variability, resting heart rate, sleep as well as an increase in pro-inflammatory cytokine ***: This study describes a positive impact of ABT on emergency department staff burnout compared to a no-treatment control group.

The density-functional theory is widely used to predict the physical properties of ***,it usually fails for strongly correlated materials.A popular solution is to use the Hubbard correction to treat strongly correlated electronic ***,the values of the Hubbard U and J parameters are initially unknown,and they can vary from one material to *** this semi-empirical study,we explore the U and J parameter space of a group of iron-based compounds to simultaneously improve the prediction of physical properties(volume,magnetic moment,and bandgap).We used a Bayesian calibration assisted by Markov chain Monte Carlo sampling for three different exchange-correlation functionals(LDA,PBE,and PBEsol).We found that LDA requires the largest U *** has the smallest standard deviation and its U and J parameters are the most transferable to other iron-based ***,PBE predicts lattice parameters reasonably well without the Hubbard correction.

one of the greatest feats of avian migration is the non-stop crossing of extensive areas of inhospitable habitat such as deserts and seas. Differences in spring and autumn migration routes have been reported in species that cross such barriers, and are thought to have evolved in response to seasonal variation in prevailing wind direction. We tested the hypothesis that migration routes vary seasonally with respect to the Gulf of Mexico in the tree swallow Tachycineta bicolor using solar geolocators attached and retrieved at 4 breeding sites in central North America. We found that 100 % of birds （n = 10） made a trans-Gulf flight of 〉850 km from Louisiana south to their wintering grounds in the Yucatan Peninsula in 12-36 hours, achieving minimum ground speeds as high as 32 m/s. Although most days during autumn migration were characterized by unfavorable headwinds blowing to the northwest, migration over the Gulf mostly occurred on days with strong winds blowing to the south. In contrast, in 8 of 9 （88 %） birds on spring migration returned from the wintering grounds towards Louisiana following a clockwise loop pat- tern flying over land to the west around the Gulf. During this spring period there were few days with prevailing winds from the south to assist northward migration. Results suggest that, despite being up to three times further （ca. 2,700 kin）, a coastal circum-Gulf spring migration represents the less risky route when wind conditions are not favorable. These findings also help to resolve a long-standing dispute in the literature concerning migration patterns between the US Gulf coast and Mexico, and provide insight into the factors shaping migration strategies of small songbirds migrating across large bodies of water [Current Zoology 60（5）： 653-559, 2014].

Multiple mode resonance shifts in tilted fiber Bragg gratings(TFBGs)are used to simultaneously measure the thickness and the refractive index of Tio_(2) thin films formed by Atomic Layer Deposition(ALD)on optical *** is achieved by comparing the experimental wavelength shifts of 8 TFBG resonances during the deposition process with simulated shifts from a range of thicknesses(T)and values of the real part of the refractive index(n).The minimization of an error function computed for each(n,T)pair then provides a solution for the thickness and refractive index of the deposited film and,a posteriori,to verify the deposition rate throughout the process from the time evolution of the wavelength shift *** of the results were carried out with a conventional ellipsometer on flat witness samples deposited simultaneously with the fiber and with scanning electron measurements on cut pieces of the fiber *** final values obtained by the TFBG(n=2.25,final thickness of 185 nm)were both within 4%of the validation *** approach provides a method to measure the formation of nanoscale dielectric coatings on fibers in situ for applications that require precise thicknesses and refractive indices,such as the optical fiber sensor ***,the TFBG can also be used as a process monitor for deposition on other substrates for deposition methods that produce uniform coatings on dissimilar shaped substrates,such as ALD.
