Hydrocarbons,carbon monoxide and other pollutants from the transportation sector harm human health in many *** cell(FC)has been evolving rapidly over the past two decades due to its efficient mechanism to transform the chemical energy in hydrogen-rich compounds into electrical *** main drawback of the standalone FC is its slow dynamic response and its inability to supply rapid variations in the load ***,adding energy storage systems is ***,to manage and distribute the power-sharing among the hybrid proton exchange membrane(PEM)fuel cell(FC),battery storage(BS),and supercapacitor(SC),an energy management strategy(EMS)is *** this research work,an optimal EMS based on a spotted hyena optimizer(SHO)for hybrid PEM fuel cell/BS/SC is *** main goal of an EMS is to improve the performance of hybrid FC/BS/SC and to reduce the amount of hydrogen *** prove the superiority of the SHO method,the obtained results are compared with the chimp optimizer(CO),the artificial ecosystem-based optimizer(AEO),the seagull optimization algorithm(SOA),the sooty tern optimization algorithm(STOA),and the coyote optimization algorithm(COA).Two main metrics are used as a benchmark for the comparison:the minimum consumed hydrogen and the efficiency of the *** main findings confirm that the minimum amount of hydrogen consumption and maximum efficiency are achieved by the proposed SHO based EMS.

Experimental evaluation of Odonata nymph in the biocontrol of schistosomiasis intermediate hosts

Objective:To evaluate the predatory potential of the Odonata nymph on freshwater snails that serve as intermediate hosts for Schistosoma species(Bulinus truncatus and Biomphalaria alexandrina).Methods:Observations on the searching,attacking and devouring of the two snail types with series of laboratory-based predation experiments,whose aims were to determine daily predation rate,differential predation,prey preference considering small-,mediumand large-sized snails were ***:Laboratory evaluation revealed that,the Odonata nymph could kill and consume the two intermediate *** number of snails consumed differed according to the snail type,size and *** times taken for searching and handling times were dependent on the snail size,type and satiation of the *** predation rate varied also with respect to snail type,size and *** study also evaluated that Odonata nymphs consumed more Bulinus truncatus than Biomphalaria alexandrina per unit time,and that there may be a preference for smaller than larger ***:According to our observation,the predator,Hemianax ephippiger nymph may be a suitable biocontrol agent in connection with Schistosoma intermediate hosts.

Dispersive Solitary Wave Solutions of Strain Wave Dynamical Model and its Stability

in the materials of micro-structured, the propagation of wave modeling should take into account the scale of various microstructures. The different kinds solitary wave solutions of strain wave dynamical model are derived via utilizing exp(-φ(ξ))-expansion and extended simple equation methods. This dynamical equation plays a key role in engineering and mathematical physics. Solutions obtained in this work include periodic solitary waves, Kink and antiKink solitary waves, bell-shaped solutions, solitons, and rational solutions. These exact solutions help researchers for knowing the physical phenomena of this wave equation. The stability of this dynamical model is examined via standard linear stability analysis, which authenticate that the model is stable and their solutions are exact. Graphs are depicted for knowing the movements of some solutions. The results show that the current methods, by the assist of symbolic calculation, give an effectual and direct mathematical tools for resolving the nonlinear problems in applied sciences.

Solvent extraction and recovery of Y(Ⅲ) and Yb(Ⅲ) from fluorspar mineral

Yttrium and ytterbium were extracted from sulfuric acid medium using triphenylarsine （TPAs） dissolved in kerosene. The influence of different factors, such as shaking time, extractants, metal ions, sulfate ion concentrations, as well as temperature, was studied in detail. From the slope analysis method and iR measurements, the structure of the extracted species was suggested as MSO4（HSO4）.TPAs, where M refers to Y（iii） or Yb（iii）. The equilibrium constants （Kex） and thermodynamic parameters, such as the change in enthalpy （△H）, free energy （△G）, and entropy （△S）, were calculated. The method of extraction and stripping was applied to obtain the aforementioned metals from a sample of fluorspar mineral giving a recovery yield of 88.2% and 83.5% for yttrium and ytterbium, respectively.

BACKGROUND Coronavirus disease 2019(COViD-19)has a spectrum of clinical syndromes with serious involvement of the lung and frequent effection of the liver and hemostatic *** biomarkers are affordable,rapid,objective,and useful in the evaluation and prognostication of COViD-19 *** To investigate the association between aspartate transferase-to-platelet ratio index(APRi)and in-hospital mortality to develop a COViD-19 mortality prediction *** A multicenter cohort study with a retrospective design was *** records of all consecutive adult patients admitted to Al-Azhar University Hospital(Assiut,Egypt)and Chest Hospital(Assiut,Egypt)with confirmed COViD-19 from July 1,2020 to October 1,2020,were retrieved and *** patient cohort was classified into the following two categories based on the APRi:(1)COViD-19 presenting with APRi≤0.5;and(2)COViD-19 presenting with APRi(>0.5 and≤1.5).The association between APRi and all-cause in-hospital mortality was analyzed,and the new model was developed through logistic regression *** Of the 353 patients who satisfied the inclusion criteria,10%were admitted to the intensive care unit(n=36)and 7%died during the hospital stay(n=25).The median age was 40 years and 50.7%were *** admission,49%had aspartate transferase-dominant liver *** admission,APRi(>0.5 and≤1.5)was independently associated with all-cause in-hospital mortality in unadjusted regression analysis and after adjustment for age and sex;after stepwise adjustment for several clinically relevant confounders,APRi was still significantly associated with all-cause inhospital *** admission,APRi(>0.5 and≤1.5)increased the odds of mortality by fivetimes(Pictive model,the APRi-plus,which includes the four predictors of age,aspartate transferase,platelets,and serum *** for mortality was very good,with an area under the receiver operating curve

Background:Growth abnormalities are uniquely associated with autism spectrum disorders(ASD);however,the extent to which growth abnormalities are present has hardly been *** current study aims to compare the differences in anthropometric parameters in a group of autistic Egyptian children and the healthy normal ***:We recruited 100 children with ASD from the Outpatient Clinic for"Autistic Children"at the Medical Research Hospital of Excellence,National Research Centre in Cairo,*** were diagnosed by DSM-iV criteria of the American Psychiatric Association,Autism Diagnostic interview-Revised,and Childhood Autism Rating *** these children at age of 3-10 years,71 were males and 29 *** anthropometric parameters were assessed in view of data of the healthy Egyptians of pertinent sex and ***:Weight and body mass index increased because of a signifi cant increase in subcutaneous fat *** tendency with a probable decrease in muscle mass was more evident in male or in older children,likely resulting from sedentary life style and food ***:The Z head circumference score and its variance signifi cantly increased especially in males or older children,suggesting the relative overgrowth of the brain in a substantial percentage of Egyptian children with *** concluded that increased fat composition in Egyptian autistic children with decreased muscle mass necessitates tailoring a specially designed food supplementation program to ameliorate the severity of autism symptoms.

An efficient 3D cell-based discrete fracture-matrix flow model for digitally captured fracture networks
