introduction:Multi-temporal land-use and land-cover data provides a historical vehicle for determining and evalua.ing long-term trends in bio-physical ***-use and land-cover assessment and mapping is one of the most useful applica.ions of geographic informa.ion system(GiS)for planning,management,and *** study analyses the spa.io-temporal pattern of forest cover dyna.ics for three decades in Falgore Game Reserve in Kano,*** dyna.ics of forest cover transition during 1985–2015 was analysed using multi-temporal Landsat ***:The spa.io-temporal analysis shows that moderate woodland dominated in 1985(46%)and 2005(57%)but was replaced by open woodland in 2015 which accounts for 58%of the total area of Falgore Game Reserve(FGR)*** woodland occupied the least area of the total forest estate that va.ied between 17%in 1985 and 1%in *** results indicate that dense woodland,moderate woodland,and very open woodland were decreased at annual average rate of 3,1,and 0.4%.Open woodland had expanded from 21,127 ha.in 1985 to 53,392 ha.in *** main drivers of forest resource degrada.ion in the area were found to be excessive fuelwood collection,overgra.ing,agricultural expansion,and forest ***:These findings suggest that protection strategies employed in FGR were not effective as deforesta.ion is still evident in the *** and environmental based NGOs should therefore prioritize effective and efficient conserva.ion strategy for present and future use of forest resources,in addition to the provision of alterna.ive livelihood sources to communities proximate to the *** will ensure the socio-economic well-being of the locals and sustainable conserva.ion of biological diversity in the area.

When choosing sites for monitoring of soil moisture for hydrological purposes,a suitable process that considers the factors influencing soil moisture level should be *** this study,two multi-criteria decision-ma.ing(MCDM)methods,the multi-influencing factor(MiF)method and the analytical hierarchy process(AHP)method,were used to identify the optimal soil moisture monitoring(SMM)sites in the Dry Creek Catchment in South *** most representa.ive areas for nine SMM sites were obtained using the MiF method,considering the factors of rainfall,soil type,land use,catchment slope,eleva.ion,and upslope accumulated area(UAA).The AHP method was used to select the optimal sites using the site-specific criteria.30.3%of the catchment area.in the Austra.ian Water Resources Assessment Landscape(AWRA-L)Grid_DC2 can be considered acceptable as representa.ive area with the MiF *** potential sites were evaluated for each AWRA-L grid using the rela.ive weights of the site-specific criteria with the AHP *** Grid_DC2 required two sites that had the highest overall weight chosen with the AHP *** procedure was repeated for the remaining four AWRA-L grids within the study area to select the required SMM sites.

Compara.ive study between wear of uncoated and TiAiN-coated carbide tools in milling of Ti6Ai4V

As is recognized widely, tool wear is a major problem in the machining of difficult-to-cut tita.ium alloys. Therefore, it is of significant interest and importance to understand and determine quantita.ively and qua.ita.ively tool wear evolution and the underlying wear mecha.isms. The main aim of this paper is to investigate and analyse wear, wear mecha.isms and surface and chip genera.ion of uncoated and TiAlN-coated carbide tools in a dry milling of Ti6Al4V alloys. The quantita.ive flank wear and roughness were measured and recorded. Optical and scanning electron microscopy （SEM） observa.ions of the tool cutting edge, machined surface and chips were conducted. The results show that the TiAlN-coated tool exhi- bits an approximately 44% longer tool life than the uncoated tool at a cutting distance of 16 m. A more regular progressive abra.ion between the flank face of the tool and the workpiece is found to be the underlying wear mecha.ism. The TiAlN-coated tool generates a smooth machined surface with 31% lower roughness than the uncoated tool. As is expected, both tools generate serrated chips. However, the burnt chips with blue color are noticed for the uncoated tool as the cutting continues further. The results are shown to be consistent with observa.ion of other researchers, and further imply that coated tools with appropriate combina.ions of cutting parameters would be able to increase the tool life in cutting of tita.ium alloys.

Team Forma.ion(TF)is considered one of the most significant problems in computer science and *** is defined as forming the best team of experts in a social network to complete a task with least *** real-world problems,such as task assignment,vehicle routing,nurse scheduling,resource alloca.ion,and airline crew scheduling,are based on the TF *** has been shown to be a Nondeterministic Polynomial time(NP)problem,and high-dimensional problem with several local optima that can be solved using efficient approxima.ion *** paper proposes two improved swarm-based algorithms for solving team forma.ion *** first algorithm,entitled Hybrid Heap-Based Optimizer with Simulated Annea.ing Algorithm(HBOsa),uses a single crossover operator to improve the performance of a standard heap-based optimizer(HBO)*** also employs the simulated annea.ing(sa)approach to improve model convergence and avoid local minima *** second algorithm is the Chaotic Heap-based Optimizer Algorithm(CHBO).CHBO aids in the discovery of new solutions in the search space by directing particles to different regions of the search *** HBO’s optimiza.ion process,a logistic chaotic map is *** performance of the two proposed algorithms(HBOsa)and(CHBO)is evaluated using thirteen benchmark functions and tested in solving the TF problem with varying number of experts and ***,the proposed algorithms were compared to well-known optimiza.ion algorithms such as the Heap-Based Optimizer(HBO),Developed Simulated Annea.ing(Dsa),Particle SwarmOptimiza.ion(PSO),GreyWolfOptimiza.ion(GWO),and Genetic Algorithm(GA).Finally,the proposed algorithms were applied to a real-world benchmark dataset known as the internet Movie Database(iMDB).The simula.ion results revealed that the proposed algorithms outperformed the compared algorithms in terms of efficiency and performance,with fast convergence to the global minimum.

Modeling the effects of rainfall on vehicular traffic

Traffic management and drainage system are two vital issues for any metropolitan city. Like other big cities, Karachi is also fa.ing problems due to lack of traffic management and poor drainage system. The main objective of the study is to model the interdisciplinary issues of storm water and its effect on the traffic of Karachi. The specific objectives are （1） to ca.ibrate and va.idate urban hydraulic and traffic micro-simula.ion models and （2） to model storm water and traffic for future conditions. This study is carried out on a 3-km section of arterial road. in this study, loose coupling of two models is done. For urban drainage, PCSWMM, and for traffic, ViSSiM is used. Both models are ca.ibrated for an existing situa.ion on rainfall event of August 3, 2013, and then used for prediction of future scena.io based on 50-year and 100-year return periods of rainfall. Sensitivity analysis of ViSSiM is performed. Loca.ions and lengths of road sections, where ponding happens for the future scena.io, are identified using PCSWMM. These lengths axe then marked in ViSSiM as low-speed areas, and delays are measured. Analysis of PCSWMM shows that for 100-year return period, there is ma.imum 0.318 ha-m （3180 cubic meters） water stored in the depressions of the road after 10 h of rainfall. Analysis of ViSSiM shows that for a 100-year return period, there is a ma.imum delay of 35 min on NiPA to hasan Square section of University Road.

1.1引言在旅游业的大环境下,以卫生与健康为基础的服务产品已成为迅速增长的国际服务业的重要组成部分。在过去,欠发达国家的患者经常去发达国家追求先进的医疗设施和有名望有技巧的医生,但上世纪90年代初以来,趋势开始扭转,越来越多的患者开始前往发展中国家来寻求医疗服务,主要是因为这些发展中国家医疗基础设施的改善和医疗费用的低廉(Rogers,2008)。这一趋势被称为“医疗旅游”,人们在这些发展中国家享受医疗服务的同时还能观光旅行(Connell,2006)。其后,医疗旅游成为世界范围内医疗保健行业中的一个高需求的新兴现象(Yu&Ko,2012)。在过去的三十年里,服务质量一直是研究人员争论的问题,为此,研究人员做了大量的关于服务质量方面研究,这导致了医疗旅游领域研究的增加。过去的研究将服务质量与顾客满意度和购买意愿联系起来(Zeithaml,Berry&Parasuraman,1996),一些研究人员认为,病人对服务质量的感知是医疗保健机构成功与否的关键因素,因为好的医疗服务质量能够提高病人满意度和提升医院盈利能力。然而,在不同的服务行业却没有得出一致的结论。因此,本研究的主要目的是回答这一问题.:医疗服务质量对斯里兰卡医疗旅游者满意度和医疗旅游的影响程度。虽然国际上许多研究已经检验了医疗游客的满意度和行为意向与服务质量之间的关系,但没有发现有关在斯里兰卡医疗保健行业研究上述关系的报告。因此,本研究试图探讨可感知的服务对医疗游客满意度的影响。1.2文献综述1.2.1服务的定义和特点根据Kotler etal.,(2013)的观点认为服务是指一方为另一方提供的任何无形的行为或表现,但总体上不涉及所有权的转移。服务是一种基本利益的产物,无论是凭借自己的力量或作为一个重要的——而不是偶然的——有形产品的元素,即通过某种形式的交换满足一个可识别的客户需求(Miller&Layton,2000)。总之,服务也可以被定义为一方以金钱换取愉悦感受的无形要约。根据Zeithaml etal.,(1985)服务具有以下要素:无形性、异质性、不可分割性和易逝性(Naik,Gantasala,&Prabhakar,2010)。因此,服务质量被认为是许多企业的主要竞争战略,因为它直接影响顾客购买行为和组织绩效(Kayaman&Arasli,2007;McCain,Jang,&Hu,2005)。近几十年来学者对服务质量对于公司的重要性这一问题在各个行业进行了研究(Ekinci,Dawes,&Massey,2008)。此外,由于服务质量直接影响一个企业实体的成功,所以其在公司的经营战略中总是优先考虑的因素之一。在过去的几十年里,由于其广泛地涉及到顾客满意度、商业利益、低运营成本、顾客忠诚度和商业活动的发展,有关服务质量的观点极大地引起管理者、从业者和研究者的兴趣(Naik,Gantasala,&Prabhakar,2010)。因此,服务质量被认为是许多企业的主要竞争战略,因为它直接影响顾客购买行为和组织绩效(Kayaman&Arasli,2007;McCain,Jang,&Hu,2005)。1.2.2客户满意度随着“后市场营销'”一词被广泛地用来指把注意力和努力放在现有顾客身上,以最大限度地提高他们的满意度,并确保他们保持这种满意度,因此在一定程度上,顾客满意度已变得非常重要,一些服务机构将其视为其营销战略中的一个关键因素(havra,1995)。许多研究已经完善了顾客满意度的定义,其被广泛定义为:顾客对产品或服务使用后的感觉或态度,使感到满意的顾客对服务或产品再次使用、并且将这种满意度传递给他人,并鼓励他们体验这个项目或服务(Anderson&Mittal,2000)。1.3研究方法1.3.1概念模型构想和假设的发展在文献综述的基础上,本文提出了概念框架。以顾客满意度为因变量,以服务质量维度为自变量。自变量——服务质量:服务质量是顾客期望和服务公司对服务感知的差异。Nitecki&Hernon(2000)定义服务质量为“满足或超过客户期望,或作为客户感知和服务期望之间的差异”。另一个重要的定义是:客户感知的服务质量是一个评估过程的结果,在这个过程中,他们将服务结果的观点与预期的进行比较(Gronroos 2001),在这项研究中的服务质量是独立变量,具有五个维度,分别是:可感知性、可靠性、响应性、保证性和共鸣性。因变量——客户满意度:Kotler定义顾客满意程度是指产品的感知性能与买方期望相符的程度。如果产品性能达不到预期买方就会不满意。如果表现符合或超过期望,买方达成满意(Kotler etal.2013),本文在文献的基础上,提出了以下假设:hal:医疗服务的可感知性与顾客满意度密切相关。ha2:医疗服务的可靠性与顾客满意度密切相关。ha3:医疗服务的
