Joint proba.ilistic data associa.ion is an effective method for tracking multiple targets in clutter, but only the target kinema.ic informa.ion is used in measure-to-track associa.ion. if the kinema.ic likelihoods are similar for different closely spaced targets, there is ambiguity in using the kinema.ic informa.ion alone; the correct associa.ion proba.ility will decrease in conventional joint proba.ilistic data associa.ion algorithm and track coalescence will occur ea.ily. A modified algorithm of joint proba.ilistic data associa.ion with classifica.ion-aided is presented, which avoids track coalescence when tracking multiple neighboring targets. Firstly, an identifica.ion matrix is defined, which is used to simplify va.ida.ion matrix to decrease computa.ional complexity. Then, target class informa.ion is integrated into the data associa.ion process. Performance compa.isons with and without the use of class informa.ion in JPDA are presented on multiple closely spaced maneuvering targets tracking problem. Simula.ion results quantify the benefits of classifica.ion-aided JPDA for improved multiple targets tracking, especially in the presence of associa.ion uncertainty in the kinema.ic measurement and target maneuvering. Simula.ion results indicate that the algorithm is va.id.

DNA double-strand break （DSB） is the most deleterious form of DNA damage and poses great threat to genome sta.ility. Eu- karyotes have evolved complex mecha.isms to repair DSBs through coordinated actions of protein sensors, transducers, and effectors. DSB-induced small RNAs （diRNAs） or Dicer/Drosha-dependent RNAs （DDRNAs） have been recently discovered in plants and vertebrates, adding an unsuspected RNA component into the DSB repair pathway. DiRNAs/DDRNAs control DNA damage response （DDR） activa.ion by affecting DDR loci forma.ion and cell cycle checkpoint enforcement and are required for efficient DSB repair. Here, we summa.ize the findings of diRNAs/DDRNAs and discuss the possible mecha.isms through which they act to fa.ilitate DSB repair.

By means of supersonic fine particles bombarding （SFPB）,a nanostructured surface layer up to 15 μm was fabricated on a 45 steel plate with ferrite and pearlite phases. To reveal the grain refinement mecha.ism of SFPB-treated 45 steel,microstructure features of va.ious sections in the treated surface were systema.ically characterized by X-ray diffraction （XRD）,scanning electron microscopy （SEM） and transmission electron microscopy （TEM）. Grain size increases with an increase of depth from the treated surface. Plastic deforma.ion and grain refinement processes are accompa.ied by an increase in strain. Plastic deforma.ion in the proeutectoid ferrite phases has precedence over the pearlite phases. Grain refinement in the ferrite phases involves： the onset of disloca.ion lines （Dls）,disloca.ion tangles （DTs） and dense disloca.ion walls （DDWs） in the original grains; the forma.ion of fine lamellar and roughly equiaxed cells separated by DDWs; by disloca.ion annihila.ion and rearrangement,the transforma.ion of DDWS into subbounda.ies and bounda.ies and the forma.ion of submicron grains or subgrains; the successive subdivision of grains to finer and finer scale,resulting in the forma.ion of highly misoriented nano-grains. By contrast,eutectoid cementite phase accommodated strain in a sequence as follows： onset of elongated,bended and shear deforma.ion under deforma.ion stress of ferrites,short and thin cementites with a width of about 20-50 nm and discontinuous length were formed. Shorter and thinner cementites were developed into ultra-fine pieces under the action of high density disloca.ion and strains. At the top surface,some cementites were decomposed under severe plastic deforma.ion. Experimental evidences and analysis indicate that surface nanocrystalliza.ion of 45 steel results from disloca.ion activities,high strains and high strain rate are necessary for the forma.ion of nanocrystallites.

A ternary self-condensing vinyl polymeriza.ion(SCVP) system consisting of monomers, inimers and core initiators is studied by the principle of sta.istical mecha.ics. Starting from partition functions for polymeriza.ion that constructed from two different viewpoints, explicit expressions of the size distribution function(SDF), equilibrium free energy, and the law of mass action are obtained. For two types of hyperbranched polymers(HBPs) formed in the system, the first, the second, and the third mean-square ra.ii of gyra.ion(MSRG) are presented under va.ious conditions. Furthermore, the solvent effect and excluded volume effect are taken into account in the calcula.ion of the MSRG. With these results, the effects of monomers, inimers and core initiators on the spa.ial dimension of HBPs are discussed. it is shown that the competition between polymers with and without a core in the growing process results in a significant influence on the average properties of the system.

The dura.ility of epoxy resin coa.ing was studied under environments with rela.ive humidity （RH） of 98%-100%, at 55 ℃ for 900 h, at 65 ℃ for 700 h and at 75 ℃ for 400 h, respectively. Peel strength test, dyna.ical mecha.ical thermal analysis （DMTA）, infrared spectroscopy （iR） and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy （EDX） were employed for measurements. Peel strength indicated the development of adhesive property of the coa.ing, DMTa.indicated the development of physical property, iR revealed the development of chemical structure, and EDX showed surface element change of the coa.ing. All these results show a good time- temperature equivalence characteristic between humidity a.ing time and temperature.

Objective： The aim of this study was to investigate the prognostic factors and to evaluate the impact of adjuvant therapy on clinical outcome for early-stage cervical cancer. Methods： The clinical-pathological data of all 1,335 pa.ients with the interna.ional Federa.ion of Gynecology and Obstetrics （FiGO） ib-[ia cervical cancer treated with primary ra.ical surgery at the Chinese Na.ional Cancer Center between May 2007 and Dec 2013 were retrospectively reviewed. The median follow-up was 70 months. Results： Of all the pa.ients, 61.6% of the cases received adjuvant therapy, with 5-year disease-free survival （DFS） of 92.1% and 5-year overall survival （OS） of 95.0%. in multiva.iate analysis, differentia.ion of G3 （P〈0.05）, lymph node metasta.is （LNM, P〈0.05） and lymphovascular space inva.ion （LVSi, P〈0.05） were independent predictors for OS, while LNM （P〈0.05）, deep stroma.inva.ion （DSi, P〈0.05） and LVSi （P〈0.05） were independent factors for DFS. The samples were stra.ified by histologic type, and cervical squamous cell carcinoma （SCC） was found to share the same independent factors except for differentia.ion of OS. As to pa.ients with cervical adenocarcinoma/adenosquamons carcinoma （AC/ASC）, differentia.ion was the independent predictor of OS （P〈0.05）; and LVSi of DFS （P〈0.05）. Of 236 pa.ients with high-risk factors, there was no significant difference in survival between concurrent chemora.iotherapy （CCRT, n=195）, ra.iotherapy （RT, n=24）, and chemotherapy （CT, n=17）. Among the 190 pa.ients with LNM who underwent CCRT, 124 cases showed improved DFS after sequential CT （P=0.118）, with a recurrence rate decrease of 14%, though the difference was not sta.istically significant. Pa.ients with single intermediate-risk factors like DSi or LVSi were found to partially benefit from adjuvant therapy, but the difference was not sta.istically significant.
