magnesite and talc origin in the sequence of geodynamic events in Veporicum, Inner Western Carpathians, Slovakia

This paper summarizes recent data about magnesite and talc genesis in Carboniferous host rocks of Western Carpathians (Slovakia) , which occur in two distinct belts in tectonic superunit Veporicum and its contact zone with Gemericum. The northern Sinec magnesite and talc belt (with main deposits Kokava, Sinec, Samo, Hnust'a-mutnik) contains economic accummulation of magnesite and talc, while in the southern Ochtina belt ( main deposits in Dubrava massif-Dubrava, mikova, Jedl'ovec; Lubenik, Ochtina, Kosice-Bankov, Banisko, medvedia) the magnesite is *** magnesite genesis by successive replacement of Carboniferous calcite to dolomite and magnesite during metamorphic process ml (northern belt 280-400℃; , southern belt 370-420℃: ; Radvanec & Prochaska, 2001; Kodera & Radvanec, 2002) , being supplied by mg from Permoscythian evaporitic bittern brines, relates to Variscan post-collisional (post-VD) evolution. The extensional tectonics and the high heat flow facilitated the generation of a hydrothermal *** time-separated later metamorphic and sourcely different fluid flow event (m2; 1. c. ) produced talc. Tectonic, microtectonic, metamorphic and geochronological data relate the talc origin with the Alpine Upper Cretaceous (88-84 ma; maluski in Kovacik et al. , 1996) tectonothermal event AD2. This event, being the consequence of Alpine collisional ( AD1 ) crustal thickening and metamorphic core complex origin, meant regional extension and pervasive fluid flow of open system in crustal discontinuities. This process was prominent in the northern belt ( Sinec shear zone) located more closely to Veporic thermal dome, while towards its peripheral parts (southern Ochtina belt) the m2 metamorphic process and steatitization gradually *** from Sinec shear zone (being the prominent AD2 -AD3 structure of northern Sinec belt) , where the dolomite/magnesite lenses (replacement in m1) and their accompanying lithology were in AD1 sandwitched between more com

monstrosities though not common occur frequently enough, and so ignorance of the subject is unwise. There are numerous theories of etiology; but they still remain as theories. Besides the main malformation there are usually other minor associated malformations. Like many other instances in obstetrical work, monstrosities are apt to occur in groups. Hydramnios is a frequent but not a constant associated factor with a monstrosity, and has to be differentiated from a multiple pregnancy. The fate of the child is negligible as shown by the high fetal mortality. Early prenatal diagnosis becomes very important as it not only means relieving the mother from wasting time, energy, and bearing unnecessary suffering, in order to carry an unfruitful pregnancy to term; but it also saves submitting the mother to the danger of dystocia with all its complications. Therefore, whenever the clinical symptoms and signs are suggestive of an abnormal pregnancy, such as hydramnios towards the second half of gestation, inability to palpate the fetal head, indistinct fetal heart, and excessive fetal movements, an X-ray should be taken. Any gestation beyond 4 months should allow of a satisfactory result and should it prove to be a monster, labour should be induced at once, perhaps best of all by puncture of the, membranes. That prevention is better than cure is just as true here as elsewhere.

A Controller for Autonomous Landing of ***

In recent years, many so called "robotic toys" appeared at the market. Though these devices are called toys and they are primarily intended for games, they provide a set of sensors and actuators that can be controlled from a computer. Hence these robotic devices may serve as non-expensive research tools, in particular for developing advanced software for controlling them. This paper describes a controller for landing of an ***, a quadricopter marketed by Parrot Inc. This controller is designed for fully autonomous landing to a given visual pattern and for hovering above the pattern. We will show how to collect input information for the controller and how to use it in a classical PID controller.

multi-Agent Reinforcement Learning(mARL)has proven to be successful in cooperative *** is used to investigate how autonomous agents with the same interests can connect and act in one *** cooperation scenarios are explored in recreational cooperative augmented reality environments,as well as realworld scenarios in *** this paper,we explore the realm of mARL and its potential applications in cooperative *** focus is on developing a multi-agent system that can collaborate to attack or defend against enemies and achieve victory withminimal *** accomplish this,we utilize the StarCraftmulti-Agent Challenge(SmAC)environment and train four mARL algorithms:Q-learning with mixtures of Experts(QmIX),Value-DecompositionNetwork(VDN),multi-agent Proximal PolicyOptimizer(mAPPO),andmulti-Agent Actor Attention Critic(mAA2C).These algorithms allow multiple agents to cooperate in a specific scenario to achieve the targeted *** results show that the QmIX algorithm outperforms the other three algorithms in the attacking scenario,while the VDN algorithm achieves the best results in the defending ***,the VDNalgorithmreaches the highest value of battle wonmean and the lowest value of dead *** research demonstrates the potential formARL algorithms to be used in real-world applications,such as controllingmultiple robots to provide helpful services or coordinating teams of agents to accomplish tasks that would be impossible for a human to *** SmAC environment provides a unique opportunity to test and evaluate mARL algorithms in a challenging and dynamic environment,and our results show that these algorithms can be used to achieve victory with minimal damage.

BackgroundThe COVID-19 pandemic posed a danger to global public health because of the unprecedented physical,mental,social,and environmental impact affecting quality of life(QoL).The study aimed to find the changes in QoL among COVID-19 recovered individuals and explore the determinants of change more than 1 year after recovery in low-resource ***-19 patients from all eight divisions of Bangladesh who were confirmed positive by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction from June 2020 to November 2020 and who subsequently recovered were followed up twice,once immediately after recovery and again 1 year after the first *** follow-up study was conducted from November 2021 to January 2022 among 2438 individuals using the World Health Organization Quality of Life Brief Version(WHOQOL-BREF).After excluding 48 deaths,95 were rejected to participate,618 were inaccessible,and there were 45 cases of incomplete *** statistics,paired-sample analyses,generalized estimating equation(GEE)analysis,and multivariable logistic regression analyses were performed to test the mean difference in participants’QoL scores between the two *** participants(n=1710,70.1%)were male,and one-fourth(24.4%)were older than *** average physical domain score decreased significantly from baseline to follow-up,and the average scores in psychological,social,and environmental domains increased significantly at follow-up(Pmale(Pmission during COVID-19 illness(Pmore chronic diseases(Pmale sex[adjusted odd ratio(aOR)=1.3,95%confidence interval(CI)1.0–1.6]were associated with reduced social domain scores on multivariable logistic regression *** or semi-urban peo

Central CB2 receptors in inflammation-driven neurodegeneration： dysregulation and therapeutic potential

In recent times there has been an intensification of interest in the pathological role of neuroinflammation in neurodegenerative disease. Neuroprotective strategies to slow, halt or reverse neuro- degeneration have not proven fruitful clinically, and the notion of a multi-hit hypothesis in the progression of neurodegenerative disease has steered focus towards other contributory pathological factors, particularly neuroinflammation. Neuroinflammation is believed to sustain the neurodegenerative pathology, forming a cy- clical and self-sustaining pathological process, with dying neurons activating microglia, which, once activated, can release several fac- tors that kill further neurons （reviewed in Blandini, 2013）.

The high redundancy actuator(hra)concept is a novel approach to fault tolerant actuation that uses a high number of small actuation elements,assembled in series and parallel in order to form a single actuator which has intrinsic fault *** this structure afords resilience under passive control methods alone,active control approaches are likely to provide higher levels of performance.A multiple-model control scheme for an hra applied through the framework of multi-agent control is presented *** application of this approach to a 10×10 hra is discussed and consideration of reconfguration delays and fault detection errors are *** example shows that multi-agent control can provide tangible performance improvements and increase fault tolerance in comparison to a passive fault tolerant *** delays are shown to be tolerable,and a strategy for handling false fault detections is detailed.

Color Doppler sonography and angioscintigraphy in hepatic Hodgkin's lymphoma

AIm： To estimate the characteristics of Color Doppler findings and the results of hepatic radionuclide angiography （hra） in secondary Hodgkin＇s hepatic lymphoma. mETHODS： The research included patients with a diagnosis of Hodgkin＇s lymphoma with metastatic focal lesions in the liver and controls. morphologic characteristics of focal liver lesions and hemodynamic parameters were examined by pulsed and Color Doppler in the portal, hepatic and splenic veins were examined. Hepatic perfusion index （HPI） estimated by hra was calculated. was observed. Lesions were mostly hypoechoic and mixed, solitary or multiple. Some of the patients presented with dilated splenic veins and hepatofugal blood flow. A pulse wave was registered in the centre and at the margins of lymphoma. The average velocity of the pulse wave was higher at the margins （P 〉 0.05）. A continuous venous wave was found only at the margins of lymphoma. There was no linear correlation between lymphoma size and velocity of pulse and continuous wave （r = 390, P 〈 0.01）. HPI was significantly lower in patients with lymphomas than in controls （P 〈 0.05）, pointing out increased arterial perfusion in comparison to portal perfusion. CONCLUSION： Color Doppler ultrasonography is a sensitive method for the detection of neovascularization in Hodgkin＇s hepatic lymphoma and estimation of its intensity. Hepatic radionuclide angiography can additionally help in the assesment of vascularisation of liver lesions.

Neurotrophic factors: from neurodevelopmental regulators to novel therapies for Parkinson's disease

Neuroprotection and neuroregeneration are two of the most promising disease-modifying ther- apies for the incurable and widespread Parkinson＇s disease. In Parkinson＇s disease, progressive degeneration of nigrostriatal dopaminergic neurons causes debilitating motor symptoms. Neurotrophic factors play important regulatory roles in the development, survival and maintenance of specific neuronal populations. These factors have the potential to slow down, halt or reverse the loss of nigrostriatal dopaminergic neurons in Parkinsoffs disease. Several neurotrophic fac- tors have been investigated in this regard. This review article discusses the neurodevelopmental roles and therapeutic potential of three dopaminergic neurotrophic factors： glial cell line-derived neurotrophic factor, neurturin and growth/differentiation factor 5.
