Variability.is one of the ty.ical observational properties of blazars and the spectral changes are usually.associated with variability.although this kind of association is unclear *** this work,we used data from the Steward Observatory.blazar monitoring program to investigate the optical variability.properties including the short-term timescale,the brightness-dependent spectral property.the correlation between the the brightness variation and the polarization,and then estimate the Doppler factors based on the obtained short timescale to study.the polarization property.for a sample of 20 TeV *** analy.es arrive at the following results:(1)The largest variation amplitude in R-band,ΔR_(M),covers a range from ΔR_(M)=0.29 mag(1ES 2344+514)to ΔR_(M)=4.66 mag(3C 279).(2)Intra-day.variability.was found from five sources with timescales from 0.14 day.for S50716+714 to 0.98 day.for PKS *** sources show spectra that are bluer when they.become brighter,suggesting a common bluer-when-brighter property.(3)The plot of the polarization versus estimated Doppler factor is consistent with the Doppler factor dependent formula of polarization.(4)The largest polarization is correlated with the largest optical variation,suggesting that the high polarization and high amplitude variation are both the indicator of beaming effect.

The insensitivity.of semiconductors to visible and infrared light is a key.constraint on the utilization of light energy.in photocataly.ic *** photocataly.ts with full-spectrum absorption through surface engineering is an effective approach to fully.harnessing light energy.in semiconductor ***,a novel stable Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)MXene/CdS heterojunction cataly.t is obtained by.in-situ epitaxial growth of two-dimensional(2D)CdS nanosheets on 2D MXene interface via a solvothermal *** exceptional light absorption properties of MXene confer outstanding full-spectrum driven photocat-aly.ic hy.rogen evolution capability.upon the heterogeneous *** unique 2D/2D structure effectively.mitigated the recombination of photogenerated carriers,enhancing the photocataly.ic performance of the ***,the composite cataly.t exhibits a significantly.higher surface temperature of 80.4℃under visible light irradiation at an intensity.of 0.1 W/cm^(2),which is 1.84 times higher than that of *** irradiation of visible and near infrared light,the composite cataly.t with photothermal ef-fect demonstrates a remarkable hy.rogen evolution rate of 65.4 mmol g^(-1)h^(-1),which is 7.2 times higher than that of CdS *** study.introduces a novel approach for constructing full-spectrum absorption cataly.ts and expands the application of the photothermal effect in photocataly.ic hy.rogen evolution research.

Splenic injury.caused by.abdominal trauma during pregnancy.is rare. Splenic injury.associated with fetal death in utero following a fall from a tree top is even rarer. The authors report a case of splenic trauma associated with fetal death in utero following a fall from the top of a tree in a 19-y.ar-old pregnant woman at 30 weeks amenorrhoea. She was referred from a 1st level health facility.for trauma that had occurred the day.before admission. She was in poor general condition (WHO performance status IV) and had a cardiovascular collapse. Ultrasound was used to diagnose haemoperitoneum and fetal death in utero. A CT scan was used to diagnose splenic lesions. Treatment consisted of splenectomy.and caesarean section after resuscitation.

In this study.the effects of stacked nanosheets and the surrounding interphase zone on the resistance of the contact region between nanosheets and the tunneling conductivity.of samples are evaluated with developed equations superior to those previously.*** contact resistance and nanocomposite conductivity.are modeled by.several influencing factors,including stack properties,interphase depth,tunneling size,and contact *** developed model's accuracy.is verified through numerous experimental *** further validate the models and establish correlations between parameters,the effects of all the variables on contact resistance and nanocomposite conductivity.are ***,the contact resistance is primarily.dependent on the poly.er tunnel resistivity.contact area,and tunneling *** dimensions of the graphene nanosheets significantly.influence the conductivity.which ranges from 0 S/m to90 S/*** increased number of nanosheets in stacks and a larger gap between them enhance the nanocomposite's ***,the thicker interphase and smaller tunneling size can lead to higher sample conductivity.due to their optimistic effects on the percolation threshold and network efficacy.
